I deposited £20 at Vera and John (low rolling) no bonus. Got balance up to £40. Tried to cash out £20 and they are going to charge me £5? Not made any other withdrawals there. Is this right? Not come across getting charges like this? Horrid for a low roller like me!

In order to withdraw any amount of money from a player account, the full amount of the deposit must be wagered at least once. If the customer does not meet this condition, withdrawals will have a 30% processing fee applied to the requested amount.

I have most certainly wagered the £20 once. I got down to 79p before getting a win!

Wow so not low roller friendly then. I play often, most days but only dep £10-£30 at a time and often cash out similar amounts. I may end up depositing £200-£300 per month in total though depending how I have done at other casinos. Won't be using Vera and John again then what a rip off. Can't even see in the term that they charge under £50

they only charge you the fee for amounts below 50

I really like Vera and John, in fact, it's one of my favs and in all the years i have played there, i have never noticed this!

I must never have withdrawn less than £50

I'ts almost as if they are forcing you to play on to get above £50 so you don't get the charge and i don't really agree with that.

I have seen it long time back, As I shove £10 - £20 in sites quicker than an addicted on the fobs, If I go down to a few pence and get a hit I would take 40 out straight away, When I seen the £5 charge  I thought it was a disgrace, So take out 20 and thats a 25% charge, I know 20 is not much to some but to others its different, Like the OP said they was down to a few pennys and won so abit of cash just when you thought you had lost.

I have just been charged £2.50 from Rizk, Didnt mind as I only put a £10 in and took out £120 (117.50) and withdraws are super quick,

This still does not mask the fact that just because you get good service / quick withdraws it does not make it right,

I have said it before, People win and get paid quick, Its like the best thing since sliced bread, It shpuld not be like that and that should come stranded with all casino (free)

I do not mind the £2.50 charge personally, It does all help for the swift pays etc, But a £5 is abit steep

Dos not that blow the money laundering theory out the window?

If casino insist that you must turn deposits over x amount of times due to criminal activity but than being charged if not, than does that make them part of the laundering?

Casino's cannot have it both ways, Some sites stating its due to money laundering and other sites just want abit of the wash

I never got charged for any WD at V&J but then again, I would not make any WD under €250.00 as my initial deposits always are in chuncks of 50 or 100 Euro.

I cannot see anywhere that they will charge when it's less than £50. If that is the case Vera and John will not see another penny from me. Plenty of other sites I deposit on that don't charge anything. Crazy when it was my £20 with no bonus. Turned it over and still not allowed to withdraw without losing 25% never known anything like it and I have been playing online since 2002!

I won't be spending anything there either, I can't remember the last time I withdrew under £50 but if I want to I'm certainly not paying 10% + to do so.
I'm fairly sure a debit card refund costs nothing so no justification for that type of charge.

Its why I rarly play there mate due to that fact of the fee, its very rare I take a less than a nifty out but belive me if I am short I wouldnt think twice of taking a 25 out, Money is there to be spent, Do not get me wrong I always got a back up but I am not tight but money is money so spend it, My worst hate is some tight git

And yes there is no justification for that sort of fee

Make any sense? but when do I ever make sense :) I was testing my mobile out again yesterday when I was out, This was the only thread I could find, I am pretty clued up when it comes to electronics but my pet hate is bloody mobile phones, from the ring tones down to the battery nearly run out, There a bloody nightmare,
I cannot understand how people can live of them 24/7
