On 12/21/06 I received an email from Venice Nights offering bonuses. I deposited $300 and claimed the BIGSIX coupon higlighted below on the 24th. After completing the play through playing blackjack my balance was $5,012 and I asked for a withdrawl a few days ago. They informed me that the email I received was a mistake and that table games were not allowed for the BIGSIX coupon. As you can see below it says that "standard bonus rules apply" and here is the link

to the standard rules which do not forbid blackjack or table games for that matter. Now the manager, Bob Goldberg, is saying that if standard bonus rules apply they have the right to change the rules at any time.

Why would you even deposit at this casino? Besides that "tempting" 600% bonus? Are they the ones who send out mailers also with a bonus of deposit $25, play with $425...or something stupid like that?

Wish you the best of luck but I wouldn't hold my breath Katty.

The manager, Bob Goldberg, told me that he would honor Bryan's opinion on this so I'm hoping to hear what Bryan has to say. I sent him a Private Message. Is that the best way to get in touch with him?

Well, wait and see what he replies to you...but he may want you to officially "Pitch A Bitch", which is basically filling out a formal complaint form with all the relevant details.

Mistake, but not an Excuse

The E-mail may have been a mistake, but the mistake was made by a casino employee, and the player deposited and played according to the contractual terms in the mailer, and the software accepted the deposit and coupon code, and the casino ONLY mentioned the error at the point of withdrawal.

A casino that brands itself as "reputable" will honour mistakes such as this, and will severely reprimand the employee(s) responsible for the hit against profits. Simply branding the player as the villain is no good. While the managers statement to abide by Bryan's opinion is to be applauded, it should also apply to other victims of this mistake who do not, or have not, utilised the clout of this forum to attempt a resolution.

The casino should ensure proper vetting of outbound promotional material to ensure no mistakes, and no misleading advertising, are contained therein.

Thank you for the feedback. Does anyone know how long Bryan takes to reply?
Sometimes it takes this long when I'm busy. The Casinomeister Awards sapped most of my time over the past week.

Looking into this now.

I also received regularly their e-mail offers which often seem too good be true. I have never considered them to be reputable and thus never made a deposit there. Thanks for posting this, this confirms my views of them. If the terms are TOO GOOD (like PowerBet / Cirrus RTG casino group's terms), then there is most often something fishy with it. I hope you receive your money and keep insisting as you are entitled to the money you won.

Is Venice Nights Casino legit? They offer some really big bonuses.

I would hold off until this is sorted.

Do you know of anyone else who received this promo email? That would be helpful.

Did they admit that they made a mistake via email? That would be helpful as well. You can either PM or email me this if you'd like.

Here's my two cents. These are facts. They use the same software as spanishluckcasino.com . Remember them?
Me and another webmaster audited this place, none of our deposits posted in stats. That was all I needed to see. You make your own call.

Uhmmmm ok, but why so secretive about the site and link?

This looks like a bonusbud post.
He told everyone to not play there for the time being because they aren't paying out but he didn't evil list them yet to my knowledge.

Until I can clarify more of what is going on I highly recommend that you stay away from Venice Nights Casino at this time.

Players have been getting harassed, verbally abused and their excuse for not paying American players is bewildering. I will be posting as soon as I have more info on this situation.

They are telling american players that they will not pay them until they neteller allows american players to use gambling sites or they decide they want to pay. There excuses are poor and involve lies about money being tied up in neteller. There support is also quite curt and unresponsive, including the manager.

I also noticed that they are unresponsive. First, a support employee would get back at me, but that never happened. Then I got the email address of the manager (Bob Goldberg) at the live chat, he replied that he would look into it and get back at me that same day. That has been 1,5 week ago now and still no answer. Not even after sending 2 more emails. I also had a payout of around $ 1100 and they said I did not respected the rules of the bonus. But I got a bonus code at the livechat after signing up and the explained the T&C there. Even have the transcript, but they don't seem to mind. They just don't pay and don't reply. Is there anything else that I can do?

A guy by the name of Tex ran this show, (well that's what he called himself)...Though, I'm sure his real name is Luis Diego Matarrita.

He worked for Virtual Casino Group, before starting spanish luck casino; that's enough about him already.

Deigo (Tex) let it known he was the driving force behind Stetson Poker, but, maybe just another manufactured story :eek2:

At the time of Spanish luck casino this character was living in Costa Rica...Since this casino has now closed, I'm unaware of what Deigo (Tex) is up to....

Maybe others maybe able to shed some light on this....

Cheers

Is this a lost cause now? Have not received an email since February 14. Can anyone set up an internet casino?

They've stopped communicating with me apparently. I was out for a week and a half. I'll see if they've followed up at all.

Can anyone set up an online casino? It depends where and with whom. In this situation (Costa Rica, Software - AST Gaming) the answer would be "yes".

Please do yourself a favor and read this section of Casinomeister:
https://www.casinomeister.com/how-to/spot-a-rogue/

Thanks!

Just wanted to let any other americans with money at venice know that i finally got a payment plan for funds that were deposited through neteller. It sucks its 500 every other week, but assuming they actually send it, it means ill eventually be paid. If you still have money i would suggest contacting bob goldberg a few times, and than after he ignores you mention this to general support a few times and repeat till you hear back from him.

Actually, the casino contacted me yesterday and has proposed an offer to the player.

Yesterday I got this offer from Bob Goldberg:

The best offer I can make for you, is to have you deposit again and take a 200% bonus.
You can play any games, the max cash out with be $200.00.
Also if you dont win we will pay you back your $25.00

Well, a max cashout of 200 while I won 1100 the first time doesn't sound great to me at all...
And just keep sending emails with the label "important". seem to work for me...
