Now I remember why I stopped playing @ CITY CLUB CASINO back in June. After seeing 4 in a row for the house and then one win for the player followed by then another eight in a row for the house (but with heavy money down), I looked up my last session at City Club and seen the exact same sort of thing happening on heavy money hands back in June as well. Take a look at all of the action of this session and you can see that everything changed once I was willing to wager larger sums. Nothing even close to eight wins in a row was logged until I started betting in the higher ranges.

If you had flat betting, your result is totally normal. Since you lost money because you lost your "big bet", I can't draw any conclusion because I don't have enough sample for your "big bets".
I examed a few hands and noticed a few error on your play. First, you should never take insurance. Secondly you should not double against dealer's 10 with your 11 since dealer has no hole card, and they may draw BJ out of the deck after you double/split. Based on your record, you even benefited from those errors. How fair is that?
I'd say it's the variance aka. bad luck that killed you.
I don't worry too much about their fairness for now, what I worry the most is their "steals when you win" attitude.

Hhcfreebie, I think I'll stick with my strategy just the same, as you pointed out it works!!

Additionally, I tried to remove the work-up as there was a mistake in it. But I did not discover the error until after the 2 minutes alloted for such changes.

The mistake being the last run for the house wasn't eight consecutive wins but in fact was seven consecutive wins. But then again no one knows how long of a streak it might of been but I had seen enough just the same. Have a good one.

Cipher - I dont mean to find fault.

But, correct me if Im wrong, I would be more than happy if I played BJ where several times in a session I increased my stake from $1!!! to $18, $37, $75, $80 etc and was given winning cards including one outright BJ. I hardly think you can conclude from your session that the software was/is rigged against any increase in stake money!!!

The fact that you burnt $200 on each of hands 104 & 105 is just bad luck. You had no more right to win those hands than any other of your session. In fact in view of the fact that before hand 93 you were 45 hands to 40 up it could be argued that a number of losing hands were more probable in the short term.

As regards your strategy thats entirely up to you and if your method finds you winning more than losing then stick to it. Chances are no-one could actually play the same game against the same machine for the years it would take to make the finite difference in some strategy to actually pay off against pure good luck.

Best of luck as always.

Aside from the software, we are missing the original point of the thread. That this group of casinos is unjustly witholding winnings from players whom have broken no rules based on the casinos definition of a "bonus abuser". This concept was created by RTG and we see how reputable most RTG's are, for a number of playtech casinos to be behaving in this manner is simply unaaceptable and rogue worthy.

Vgyhnji, Please read my post again. I had no difficulty in making my mind up with regards this particular session based upon what I seen in that particular session as well as the data I've recorded over 5 years now and well over 6,000,000 hands a good percentage of which has been on PLAYTECH software.

Additionally I prefaced the data by saying quote "everyone can make their own mind up." PERIOD. Have a good one.

Thesmacker; Between yesterday and today there has been a great deal of dialogue incident to this entire group, wherein I think there will be some major changes being announced very soon.

Additionally, I'm delighted to say that the aforementioned dialogue was instituted by senior management within this group.

I will try to update this situation within the next couple of days but rest assured there are some very meaningful discussions on going. Have a good one.

"everyone can make their own mind up."

Indeed they can, we shall just have to agree to disagree - amicably!

Fair play to you for playing and posting your results anyway.

Best of luck.

Our sources are telling us that the management of the group that operates Vegas Red are seriously concerned at the amount of flak they are taking for decisions that may not be entirely their fault, and that there is currently some interaction going on with Playtech regarding the contracted Support structures.

That is encouraging to hear, but the fact remains that customers correctly see the casino as holding the frontline responsibility for the unfair conduct being so widely reported against Vegas Red.

That being the case, the managers of the group that owns this operation need to get their act (or Playtech's act - whatever) together in a hurry if they are to avoid lasting damage to their image.

They need to reconsider the legit complaints being made and make restitution...and they need to put an end to this nonsense of confiscating winnings and bonuses from folks they have invited to participate in their promos.

Cipher sorry if my post sounded like I was being a little attackish, I certainly didnt mean for it to sound that way. Trust me, I myself have basically sworn off Playtech as I have incurred some strange losses, but some people from my site do tend to enjoy it, and I'm guessing its more for the graphics then the game play itself. I appreciate all the research you are doing as well as keeping people informed here and at WOL, it is the only defense for players against such casinos that mistreat players.
