Where do you like to go on vacations? I personally like anyplace that is tropical. I would love to take a nice vacation right now, but I've been very busy.

My last holiday was in 1992. Pretty bad by anyone's standards.

The closest I get to a holiday is looking at a holiday brochure and squinting, that way I can pretend it's me lying on the beach

Went to Bulgaria for Eleven years on the trot until the wife got poorly.
Now im on my own, its just the East Yorkshire coast.
Go every month for a day but about 4 times a year I stay for about ten days.
Scaling that back now and just going to stay about twice a year.

I have done everything from backpacking (countless), bicycle holidays (countless), mountain climbing (countless), safari (once), cruises (twice), around the world trips (twice), lonely islands (once), beach holidays (plenty), city breaks (plenty).... the list goes on.... the best though were those where an ocean was involved.

Still on my bucket list: Antarctica and the Moon.

Never left the UK in 44 years

Had a few days away to coast with kids earlier this year but not a full family holiday as planned.

Would love a week on a 'Haven' or similar site next summer but will all depend on volume of work at the time and oh yes my luck on these darn slots!
