Hi,

It's been a while since I visited. I am wondering how many players from the USA still come to CM & how often.

I just checked out the "America The Beautiful" section and not really a lot to view.

I don't know if it is the new updated version or just me but it seems to take forever to load. I had hoped the sections would be collapsable since I don't read them or they don't pertain to me, but I guess that's not going to happen. See you later!

Same here. I check in every so often. It used to be very busy... crickets over the past year or so.

dear US members what kind of content do you think we could add in the forum and our cm.us site from your US point of view?. More content related to land based casinos, new jersey casinos info,... all your suggestions will.be appreciated.

Just my guess, but I would imagine that 95% of all the posts being about casinos & games that USA players are unable to experience themselves puts a HUGE damper on their enjoyment of the forum :(

I'm pretty sure that if I lived in the US myself, that I would stop coming here every day as well...

Tough to say, most of the traffic - even though it's not much - in the U.S. forum section seems to revolve around the unregulated stuff. That doesn't mean a userbase in regulated areas can't be grown, but at the moment I don't think it's too many people. It's only a fraction of the U.S. population that has access to the regulated online sites.

Live casino stuff might be possible, but the average live gambler probably spends a lot less time in front of a computer reading sites like this one than online players do.

Information about changes to regulated gambling can be interesting, but it moves at such a glacially slow pace that it's going to be hard to have a consistent amount of content on that.

Not really sure what the best direction to go with content would be, maybe someone else will have an interesting idea or two. The state of online gambling in the U.S. is honestly pretty depressing and I think it's driven a lot of people away, though I can't speak for the experience in regulated states.

Actually, we are planning to merge the casinomeister.us site to here - .com. Seems like a fair number of folks don't know that the States is slowly opening up. Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania - and 35 States allow parimutuel betting. It's all covered here

but it doesn't get much coverage.

That would be great to merge the sites. Is there a forum on the US version of the site? I was looking but didn't see one.

Side question: since we have NextGen here, do you think we will get Medusa Megaways? Could the license BTG be a problem?

Nope - no forum there - we had blogs, but no one used them. There just aren't enough people living in NJ. We will be setting up a new sub-forum here.

NJ has plenty of people:

We are #11 out of 50 and we are one of the smallest size-wise. I also run into people all the time who are gambling online (tons where I work)

I think the problem is since we have been without it for so long, most players just play and that's it. They aren't looking for a community like I am.

LOL - I mean there are not enough players in NJ that know that they are able to play online - using Neteller, credit cards, playing bona-fide Netent, Nextgen and IGT games. I was ready to hire a plane with a Casinomeister.us banner flapping behind it along the Jersey shores in the summer.
