Hey,

I got a few questions regarding different payment methods for US-players.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to find answers because I'm not a US citizen ;)

1. What is your favourite (most used) payment method?
2. What about the acceptance rates of credit cards? I mean, as I understand, if you want to use a VISA gift card for example, they have to be "All Access Cards" issued by Netspend!? Or sometimes, casinos quote you can only use gift cards that are non-reloadable?

Thanks in advance, all this stuff is really interesting but also kind of confusing ;)

Hmmmm......

Why do you ask?

thats what i though when i first read this hmmmmm:eek: who r u the i.r.s if you don,t live here then why do u care?

Disclaimer: The following is just me trying to help the best way I know from my own, personal, experiences. Anyone reading anything more into any of this, for example, like that since they do things differently than the way I do things means that the very fact that I posted this must, certainly, be a personal attack on them, couldn't be further from the truth because I probably wasn't even thinking of them, exactly, when I wrote this.

I use NetSpend Visa and or UseMyWallet/QuickTender. Never had a problem with either that I wasn't able to get sorted out to my satisfaction (search my threads for more on alla that, if you like). NetSpend is accepted by every online casino available to US players except (and I haven't asked if its only lately or just me or what) Rival sites, so I use QuickTender, which accepts every NetSpend deposit. You'll need QuickTender to receive your withdrawals so I recommend depositing via QuickTender the first time at each site where you may request a WD. Unless you plan on strictly depositing. Then it doesn't matter. What the hell! Why are you wasting my time like this if you never even intend to WD?!? Anyway. Contact support at any casino where you see UseMyWallet offered and ask them to get you set up. This only has to be done once. You have a couple of other options, neither of which are worth mentioning. (again this is strictly my opinion, solely, and may not necessarily represent the opinions of the forum's owner or its members)

The question was raised offline whether non-US players can read ATB. The answer is 'yes'. Any Casinomeister member can read ATB.

I guess if ANYONE can read it, we probably shouldn't be blabbing about what we use for deposits??? Or posting screen shots of MOs and such (in another thread about 3D). What is the point of this section at all if it is open to the world?? Kind of confused on this, why let any govt. interests know what we are doing? Just my opinion, but when some of these options go away, we may only have ourselves to blame, Bern. Let the govt. do their own homework!

LOL

It would be much wiser to restrict the ATM section to members from Europe etc. because they are less likely to care what you do with your money than, lets say, American state representives :D

I am just asking because I need to write something about the UIGEA, it's consequences and how US players are still able to make deposits. Doing some research on my own is fine, but payment options seem to change on a day-to-day basis so I thought it would be more accurate to just ask US-gamblers how they actually make their deposits.

Well, if you guys don't want to tell me too much about your favourite deposit options, how about the acceptance rate of credit cards?

I read a few threads and it seems like the acceptance rate is much higher on VISA cards than on those issued by mastercard? Furthermore: Does the acceptance rate depend on the "size" of the casino/poker/betting operator? I first thought this was logical, but acceptance rates on, e.g, PokerStars seem to be much higher than on smaller operators?

Hiya: imhop, it is kind of silly to ask someone, "What do you care, if you do not live here"? If someone who has been on this board for years, "insert name here", worked for the CIA, IRS, FBI, ect, Unless they just came out and told you, You and I and everyone else would never know.

I am sure there is somebody monitoring this site, letstalkwinning, gamblers glen, gonegambling, wizardofodds, gambling.com, and so on........

The fact is, everything we know, they know. The guys down at the street corner in the run down part of town are selling drugs. I know it, you know it, everyone driving by knows it, and the local police know it. But everyday they are still there....

How many ways are there to get money into/out of a Casino? and how many differernt processors are available to process those ways? 4-5 tops? And someone wants to say, "Shhhhhhh, not so loud, they might here us"......lol

Well, that's what i actually wanted so say.
I'm not a FBI agent, but though I'm interested in the acceptance of different credit cards etc. Is that a crime? :D

What I also dont understand:

Why can E-Wallets such as UseMyWallet or eWalletxPress still cater US players while Neteller and Moneybookers can't!? :eek2:

Hmmm.... I personally kinda thought about the corporate structures...

I understand what you're saying love2winalot, but if we don't offer the information here publicly, then it won't be an issue with who is watching. You know the saying, loose lips sink ships?? Noone can monitor what is NOT said, just my opinion, but such are the times we play in.
