Urgent: Do NOT deposit by Neteller until further notice

[QUOTE But I have to ask why Firepay is not considered decent competition? Ten minutes to fund a casino vs 4-5 days via netteller. What am I missing???[/QUOTE]

DeMango:

I use Firepay all the time. It is great for depositing - very quick. But many casinos have instituted a long 3 - 5 day waiting period to make a withdrawal to Firepay. I have gotten a variety of baloney answers as to why. And I hate the deposit fees.

Neteller is not available in my state and I have looked for over a year now for a system that allows instant or at least quick deposits and withdrawals. No luck.

I do use Click to Pay but it has been difficult to get casinos to raise the limit, so I can't use it most of the time at many of my casinos.

Any suggestions out there?

Upon logging in to Neteller now, you will be greeted with this message:
Message From The CEO:

Please accept our apologies for the difficulties recently experienced on our website. Neteller implemented a significant change in our software which has resulted in unacceptably slow processing times for our transactions. We can assure you that your processing information is secure and that we are working around the clock to improve the speed of our site.

Once our system changes are fully implemented, site speed will improve and our systems will be set to handle an increased number of online transactions. Your patience is appreciated during this upgrade.

Gord Herman,
CEO
At least the problems have now been acknowledged. At this time things seems to be reasonably fast (at least from my perspective) and working properly.

Deposited at intercasino tuesday night, it said it did not go through. Went to Neteller which was down all night. Checked today and money was taken out but did not show in casino account. Waited on hold at inter for 20 minutes who said that they need the transaction number as neteller never sent the funds so I called neteller, got the number and now Inter says it will take 24 hours to credit my casino account. NutTeller.

Crockfords etc

Crockfords has been unable to process cashin since Sunday. CS tells me that they are unable to accept deposits from Neteller.

Globalplayer and Lassetters have had no problems.

However there does not appear to be a following of Crockfords on this forum.

I played at Crockfords Oct 28th and they told me the same thing.

Crockfords

I've requested the cashin to be reversed, need manager's OK maybe they will bump up the monthly match. They have to be hurting.

I've now sent and received a few payments (medium to large) without any problems.

I tried to deposit into Vegas Towers last night, still no go.

The reason Neteller has no competition for me is that the other alternatives that are widely accepted, Firepay, Citadel, pre-paid atm etc are U.S. centric and don't accept anyone from outside the US.

I used to have a Firepay account until you could only fund it through a U.S. bank account. What's wrong with European banks? We have computers here too so transferring funds should be just as simple as transferring from within America?

Why do you guys think so many people depend on Neteller and more people do not use PaySpark ?

I've been using PaySpark for quite a while now and have never had any problems with them. The cashouts are in your Payspark account just as fast or faster as they are with Netteller and there are no fees.

I JUST spoke to Robby at Crockfords. He tells me that the situation is still the same with Neteller.
"No withdrawals can be made at this time".
I'm going to see if I can get any info from Neteller regarding Crockfords.

I had my withdrawal thru Neteller reversed because they are still having problems. I requested payment by check otherwise I will lose everything waiting for them to pay thru Neteller (already lost $700 from original amount to be withdrawn). Check was approved on 3 Nov, I should receive it anytime next week.

That sounds more like a problem with not having the self-control to not reverse your withdrawals rather than NETeller's problems.

curious

I am wondering why some casinos still have difficulties with neteller while others do not. I deposited to Maple Casino yesterday without any problems and requested a withdrawal. So far, no problems and have not received any emails from Maple(and they are great communicators) stating that there would be a problem. I did receive an immediate response last week from them when I withdrew stating that there would be a delay but it was quickly resolved as soon as neteller was up and running again.

Anyone care to opine?

They are using NETeller's problem as an excuse to delay payment? ;)

Personally I think the NETeller problem has been fixed since I deposited and withdrew with no problem whatsoever!

Personally, I'd like to see a list developed of which casinos are in fact using the Neteller situation as an excuse not to pay and any casino that is found to be using that excuse should be immediately and permanently rogued. Have a good one.
