So I have to share what happened to me at Guts the last few days, it was a real roller coaster ride.
Got some free spins a couple days ago, and I won $2. Normally that would be the end of the story because I'm not really lucky trying to build up a small amount into a bigger one. The other way around, I'm expert at!
Anyhow, I don't remember what I played but tried a few spins here and there and ended up with $15. Then got just over $100. Thought about cashing out but it's been awhile since I've had a chance to play, so kept playing and landed this beauty.
I had JUST finished with free spins too - this would have been ever sweeter to hit during free spin mode!
Did I cash out like a smart person? Hell no. I kept playing, I was up and down and even dropped below $200 a couple of times. Won a bit more and got back up to $400 and decided to cash out.
Then I noticed some new games and decided to play another $50 - loaded up this new Merlin Christmas game, set the extra bet lever thingie on the side, and just as I hit the spin button I realized that the bet was set at $70! Did I win? Of bloody course not.
So now I'm feeling irritated and I've dropped below the $350 I wanted to cash out. So what do I do? Like a sane person do I cash out $300 instead? Not this girl, what I do is jack up my bet and try to make it back. lol. And of course the obvious happens and I bust out.
Kicking myself a bit and wanting to talk about it without getting any lectures about knowing what the withdraw button is for, I sent a message to Ben - and nice guy that he is, he doesn't give me a lecture - and not only that, he gives me back the $70 I bet by mistake on that Merlin game. :notworthy Yay Ben!
But I had just finished losing so I'm thinking my luck went south, and so I start to play with the $70 and sure enough, I'm just losing everywhere. Down to about $14 and finally hit something, over $200 - then over $300 - then back to the $400 I should have originally cashed out.
Suddenly got my balance up to $800! Did I learn from my previous mistake? Hell yes - I said I'm cashing out $700, and that's what I did.
Whew. So from $2 to $500+ to nothing to $70 (thanks to Ben!) to $700 cashout.
Thanks Guts!
Sooo...the morals of my story: First, know what the withdraw button is for. Second, even if you've been playing for years like I have it's still possible to get caught betting more than you expect when playing an unfamiliar game. Third, those little free spins can turn into something good if you can learn to withdraw and not be greedy like me.
