Upcoming Casinomeister Awards 2012 - Your Input Please!!

First of all, if you are going to just "just skim a few pages" when this post is about nominating the best casinos for the entire year, then how fair is your critique going to be? An educated opinion is the best opinion that can be had.

Second, this "depositing glitch" is just within the last few weeks and we are now in December. How can you base your opinion on just a few weeks of deposit issues when most of us have been depositing and playing happily for an entire year? How fair is that?

3-Dice Rocks and I hope this deposit issue will be fixed soon; but for the entire year, I have had the best time at 3-Dice casino and nominate them for best casino ever.

What are you talking about? This thread is for people to nominate casinos, managers, new inventive ideas. It's NOT about nominating the best casino for the entire year. Maybe you didn't catch that.

Here is Casinomeisters first sentence....

Yep, it's that time of the year again...the Casinomeister Awards are being assembled, calculated, and kicked around. This is your chance to suggest new and interesting categories, awards, recipients, or any other input for that matter.

If you read my post properly, I said I skimmed a few pages and saw a few people nominated 3dice as the "best facing usa casino". In my opinion with their limited deposit options they are not.

I like 3dice and used to be a pretty good depositer, I believe I was Silver with a few * next to it. So please don't come in here and say to me "first of all", and not even understand what this thread is about.

Best Casino of 2012 -U.S
3Dice for sure, you hardly see a complaint about them.

Best Casino of 2012 - Global
Nordicbet or 32Red both are great and would be deserved winners.

Worst Casino of 2012
Rushmore Group or Betfair no explanation needed.

Best Casino Group
32Red's group of casinos

Worst Casino Group
This year it has to be Rushmore.

Best Customer Service 2012
32Red, Nordicbet or 3Dice

Best Software Supplier Award
Net Entertainment

Best Games Award
Net Entertainment

Worst Software Supplier Award
I am sorry to say this but this year I have been disappointed with Microgaming, they seem to have no imagination re hashing games and what's with all the money grabbing 243+ way games

Stupidest Named Casino
Loco Panda

Best Affiliate Program 2012
For me personally on payment, support etc it has to be Referback

Best Casino Manager of 2012
Ben from Nordicbet

Biggest Disappointment of 2012
Me not winning 20,000x Bet

Would have to say that it has been a pretty good year all round for casinos, not too many dodgy things going on compared to previous years.

This thread is for people to nominate casinos, managers, new inventive ideas.

New inventive ideas is a great category, problem is most operators and software providers seem to be stuck in the mud.

It's pretty much the same ole, business as usual and no new inventive ideas.

I don't know what all the catagories are but the answer is probably 32Red anyway.

Having had the opportunity like many others to play at ALL the Casino's that usually receive awards I would say there is a vast difference between the nominated Casinos here. To elaborate, what some US players find SUPER (and I'm sorry to say this) may not even be on par with what the rest of the world experiences.

I sincerely pity players that have not had the opportunity of interacting with Andy of Redbet or Ben of Nordicbet .. Robin of Nordicbet or even BoyleCasino Support (Who are surprising me more each day - Some of the FASTEST and most polite support teams I have come across).

The service and superiority is so vastly different that I would not even begin to nominate a 'Best Facing US Casino'. Yes US facing Casinos render some good service and the US players would love to thank them but its like comparing apples and oranges to me...

Please don't take this the wrong way - Its funny how many people WITH the luxury of playing at ALL brands rarely nominate any US Facing Casino's. It honestly speaks volumes about whether US players would nominate those casinos to begin with if they could pay elsewhere like we can. I do not like to lump all places in the same basket but it is just an interesting observation I have made.

Again - The Casino's that serve US players may be great to you and even some Non - US players (And thanks to them for looking after my fellow gamblers) - But I just wanted to echo my thoughts / observations...

Lastly - I have already nominated my Best Managers / casinos earlier in the thread - But I would like to Nominate Boyle Casino support in the Category of Best Support team - I know this is a new one and those who have not interacted with them should give em' a try

Nice post mate and agree with you completely, I would say if MG and NetEnt got regulated into the U.S market most RTG casinos revenue would plummet unless some huge changes were made. There has only been a mention or two of some RTG brands in this thread which is quite sad.

I just skimmed a few pages and saw a few "best usa facing casino" (3Dice)

How can this be possible if USA players have no way to deposit? I only know of one way right now, (I haven't used it yet). So one deposit option for USA players can't be "best USA facing casino" can it?

I would have to agree and nominate them for "best support", their team is top notch and can't be touched in my opinion.

Just seen this, whilst deposit methods can come and go for U.S players, I think the important factor is after you manage to deposit. From what I have seen and heard 3Dice goes out of there way to make sure everyone is paid (U.S or not) even if Enzo has to hand delivery it.

P.S this is my observation as a non U.S player looking in.

A quick review of my gamblig for this year :

Best casino softw: MG and RTG
Dont like/only loose: Netent (=terrible, plus always tech issues), Playtech
Best casino: mmm a few winners: 32R/GoldenLounge, RedFlush/LaVida from MG and Slotastic, GrandeVegas,
JacpotCapital, Intertops from RTG.
Stoped playing at Slotocash/Desertnights, INetBet and any ClubWorld casinos due to multiple deposits (10x) zero withdrawals. No game !
Best customer support: never had any issues with my winning casinos, tho want to thank Dave from GoldenLounge for his attention.

Best CM poster: vinilweatherman. Cheers to u mate!

Also, to u all Readers of CM and a crue in charge I wish my best for a coming new year!

So please don't come in here and say to me "first of all", and not even understand what this thread is about.

I'm sorry, I assumed it was "sour grapes" over the depositing issue and I did not feel that they should be judged on that, especially since we (US) have deposited and played at their casino for the entire year without issues. (At least for me). I have had a blast at 3-Dice for over a year and they deserve credit for that.

Sorry I ruffled your feathers, Just Play. :D

Best Casino - Nordic Bet

Worst Affiliate program - Uffilates or Aff UTD

Worst Casino - 888

Best affiliate program - Nordicbet Partners

And a new category would have to be...

Spammer of the year

And the best user friendly casino (asin it all stays on one page) for that i would award Nordic bet and Party casino.

I speak with 3Dice players and their support team quite often...no sour grapes here.

I don't have feathers, just skin. :)

You have only played there for over a year, your a newbie. ;)

I only play regularly at a few different casinos... 32 Red, 7 Sultans, Jackpot City, and a few Playtechs.

Best Casino - 7 sultans!
Love this casino, out of all Microgaming casinos i have the best luck at this one. Fast and responsive customer service. Quick payments. Never had an issue.

Worst Casino - Any casino from the Virtual Group!
Need I say more?

Best Bonuses - Jackpot City!
Extremely generous bonuses, pretty much a new one every day. Never forget my birthday or Christmas. Always willing to throw me a bone after a particularly bad session.

This is difficult even though it shouldn't be since I don't play at that many casinos.

Best Manager: I can't chose between Pat and Jonathan, both from 32Red. For me they have been just as nice and have supported and helped me with everything I have asked about, which mostly have been honest answers to all questions I'm asking :)

But I also want to mention Andy from Redbet and IanO from Butlers Bingo. Great people in every way, and just not only as managers for a casino.

Best casino: It has to be 32Red. In my eyes no one can compete with them. It's just the way it is:thumbsup:

My only suggestion for a new reward would be one for the members in the forum whom without there wouldn't be any forum or any awards.
There are so many members at this forum that make it to what it is, but some are in my eyes more valuable than others. It's like they are not here for their own sake, only for others. For helping, supporting, teaching and so on..
If we can have an award for most annoying member then we could have one for a member that's most special too.
I know he will hate me for it but I don't think anyone would disagree with me either. I want that award to go to Rainmaker ;)

Worst casino: There are many to chose from here but it has to be Rushmore.

Worst casino group: Sorry but I have to say Jackpot Capital group for the changes they made that for me took them to the bottom.

That's all I can think of for now :)

i think you should have an award for casinos that "think out of the box" and try new and creative incentives for players. For example, instead of just offering comp points and bonuses which are all tied to playtime why not offer gift cards, shopping points and other things that are of real value. If a player deposits and plays multiple times during the month, but doesn't take any bonuses they come away with nothing if they lose.

If casinos would offer an amazon gift card, restaurant card or something else to reward players for visiting and depositing I think that would set them apart. I don't know of one casino that thinks this way or is creative in their marketing and player rewards. It's not all about bonuses.

sounds good...but very problematic trying to find universal gift cards - cards that either appeal to everyone regardless of age or gender, or having the availability of said stores in player's region

Longest posts award - vinylweatherman :D

Armchair lawyer award - vinylweatherman:)

Most notorious slots win - vinylweatherman (Just how much did I win again:p )

Most posts I've ever skipped through because I didn't want my eyes to bleed - vinylweatherman :p

Best Manager

Put me down for Anna at 3 Dice for best manger. Most places I have played at if you e-mail support they get back to on the you next day, usually asking for more info or some stupid question, "was you computer turned on?" Or you just get 'canned' answers. I had a problem with OKP this morning, sent an e-mail to support, got an answer back in an hour from Lance (good guy). That didn't solve my problem, I wrote back, an hour later I got a response from Anna, she had cleared everything up for me. 2 e-mails from me and 2 responses in maybe 3 hours! How you gonna beat that?

It's New Year's Eve, and it's been a good year for me online gambling.

I'd like to nominate 32Red's support team for best support. 3Dice has always got my nomination in the past, and they are still superb. But they are small, and I think it is harder to produce a larger team of excellent people.

A lot of people may not experience problems over at 32Red, maybe they rarely need them. But there's a tech issue regarding an "unplayed" game that affected a number of members that still persists for me. It's meant I've visited support several times a week, dealing with many reps. I shudder to think what this issue would involve with another casino. 32Red respects their reps enough to give them the authority to resolve player issues, it doesn't need to wait until monday, or business hours, or a manager to come in. Every day CS can credit a bonus manually. Top up comp points if you qualify. Offer a small good will gesture if warranted. Be professional, polite, and whatever level of friendly you seem to want.

These are CM awards, so Club Gold's support team did not get my nomination, but they really do have good and efficent and friendly CS. They can sort bonus issues, I've found them patient and always trying to make sure you understood the terms of a promotion. I felt this way before a big win too. They did a lot of hand holding during the month of payouts!

Worst Casino.... Purple Lounge. Didn't Betfair already win last year for the Happy Hour promotion?

Best Newly Accredited Casino: Redbet

I'd like to see a best new casino forum rep catagory. It's one thing to to establish yourself over time, learn as you go and improve, and another to just start out. Hopefully CM is a community, not just a bunch of issues, and therefore I'd like to nominate Andy of Redbet.

IanO is not a newbie here, so I'll just nominate him for cutest rep! Some may remember him from Buzzluck (the first one) and I bet he looked just beaming handing over that 5.8 million jackpot! Maybe Ian can share that publicity photo here.

Maxd deserves an award. If Votran can get one, so should max.

And someone should nominate me for a "Giving Vinyl a Run for his Money in Longwinded" honourable mention.

Best casino overall: 3Dice
Best customer service: 3Dice
Best software: Microgaming
Best bonuses: Slotocash
Best Microgaming casino: 32 Red
Best RTG casino: Slotocash
Best NetEnt casino: RedBet

Thanks all who have participated in this thread. I'm busy writing the awards and they should be ready to be published the week of the 21st (like clockwork :D)

FYI, we offered Amazon vouchers as a reload bonus during our '12 days of christmas' promo and it was quite simple to arrange. The take up was not as big as some of the other offers, but that may just have been an issue of timing. I'll certainly be passing this feedback on and see if we can make these type of offers more frequent, so thanks for that :)
