Unibet Rep??

Unibet is reviewed at Casinomeister. It is an CM Accredited, vetted, and highly recommend casino listed at our site.
Here is one. Online last Friday. https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/22533/
and this one https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/39748/ also online last Friday.

I couldn't find Sofasurfer though. He's the best. Either he's out or have changed name.

Sofasurfer and Unibet Sam both were great, and have left the building to pursue their respective careers elsewhere :) Sofasurfer still has the account as normal member though, so you can ask him yourself :p

I do know where the old Unibet Rep went, and she was great too. Now there's a new one, Ken, who is quite active, and has so far been very helpful, capable and responsive:

Yes I found him and sent a pm earlier, but thanks for telling me he left them.
So many new casinos and people here it's impossible to keep up with all changes.

Unibet Sam is now with BGO :D

If you are having problems contacting anyone, please let me know. Thanks!

How common is it that casinos buy each other out?

These days it's happening all the time. As this industry matures -- or any other for that matter -- consolidation is a very typical phase for it to go through. In the beginning it was all little fish, some got bigger than others, resources start to dry up, the bigger fish turn carnivorous and start gobbling up the little fish ... that's where we're at now.

In time the big fish will become fat and lazy which will give the little fish a fighting chance to survive again, but they'll have to be faster and smarter than they were before.

It's cycles within cycles. Happens to every industry.
