Venting Unibet in breach of their own T&C's

Mulven I hope as many members as possible read your post as it exposes just how corrupt some bookmakers are. Unibet being at the forefront. I said in an earlier post that they were the lowest of the low. I want to expand on that and say that every on line bookmaker I have used has returned all of my winnings, with the sole exception of Unibet. I certainly don't win everywhere, many accounts have been closed having made a loss. I do expect that on the ones where I have made a profit that I should be able to withdraw my money. Unibet seem to think otherwise.

I'm not complaining about bet restrictions, withdrawal of offers, and other tactics that I think are regrettable but understandable. Bookmakers are businesses and want to make a profit. But if I place a bet and it is accepted then I expect that when I win I can have my money. Not to have it taken off me months later on a trumped up excuse.

Bookmakers are a scourge. Most are pretty putrid to be honest and Unibet, Ladbrokes and Bet365 are all the same. If you wanted to Arb your account though you could bet one way with one bookie and the other with another bookie. Its not like you get some sort of advantage by having both with the same bookmaker.

I'd like to know why bookmakers think having multiple accounts at the same address means you have an unfair advantage. Does this mean you suddenly know if Chelsea is going to win or if Djokovic is going to win Wimbledon. Its a fucken ridiculous rule that has no merit. After all, if you were going to nefarious things against Unibet you don't have to be at the same address.... there is a thing now called the telephone.

Of course, most bookmakers never have an issue when you lose. Its only when your account is winning that they suddenly have an issue. I'm sure if you and your wife were lousy betters and just made donations to unibet they would have no issue with you each having an account.

I couldn't agree more spindoctor. Last week I private messaged the Unibet rep who agreed Unibet did allow husband and wife accounts. When I asked why our accounts had been closed contrary to that policy he went remarkably quiet. This warning was posted last year by a well known betting information site:
