Unibet Casino - The Last Bastion of Default RTP in the UK?

Unibet is reviewed at Casinomeister. It is an CM Accredited, vetted, and highly recommend casino listed at our site.
Excellent business strategy IMO

Although a case of playing the 'long game' I'm sure it will pay off with regards to retention and future sign up's with the gambling community getting more and more clued up as time goes on.

They'll eventually use this as a primary marketing tool once 99% of casinos have all 'tweaked' their RTPS

They're in a strong position to do this as they already have a huge existing player base, if indeed my line of thinking is correct, who knows next week they could jump on the 'fuck the players bandwagon'

Agree with you. Lowering RTP is a short term fix.

Those few casinos that run the higher RTP will be the winners in the end as they’ll have a bigger slice of the player base to more than offset running the higher RTP.

The longer you hold out with full rtp, the more benefits you will see from it imo.
When there are only a couple sites left offering full rtp, they can use it as selling point with their advertising.

'play here to get more value for you deposits' 'our slots give back more money than slots from casino x,x,and x' etc.

Also i think big sites that have a solid sportsbook (unibet, betsson etc) are much less dependant on revenue from slots to make a healthy profit.

Has 32red got all default rtp settings?
Seem to recall them lowering.

As for casinos publicly backtracking it's too early for them to feel any worthwhile effects. Particularly if they manage to keep their high rollers or VIPs.

Around a year ago, hardly any responses were seen on the forum for RTP threads. Now, more people jump in and awareness is definitely on the increase.

Besides, the last one to turn out the lights leaves a gap in the market.

When their high-rollers start shifting, watch them squirm.

For a big spender, it's no longer a case of better the devil you know, when you can go elsewhere for better spins and more value for your money.

Luckily for casinos, not everyone has a vindictive memory like me, Coral Ladbrokes will need to do something special to get money from me because of their RTP switch con.

Unibet and Novibet have me for life if they keep RTP high.

I can see them all lowering there rtp,s to the new awful standard. It's not a matter of will but when it will be done. I won't be surprised if by the end of the year they all have the same low RTP across all the u.k sites.

I know we all go on about RTP on here, but the other billion people playing them don't even know what RTP is.

So why would they keep the higher settings in the games and lose money to impress or retain a small majority of the player base that actually know what RTP is.

I just don't see it in my opinion.

A high roller who brings in a good share of revenue will :)

I dont think everyone needs to become wise. Watch how they switch back when their favourite customers leave for better products.

Besides, gaps in markets always get filled somehow.
I wonder how much revenue slot high rollers bring into an online casino vs the many small time gamblers who haven’t got a clue? I really have no idea myself.

I must admit I have never seen the evidence but have been led to believe that for some, VIP's/High rollers are their bread and butter.

Takes a few low rollers hours to spend what a high roller can do in minutes.

you would think with the current state of poor ass money pit games coming out the last thing they would want is to beatdown players even more..lol. I can tell you Europa offers the best Red Tiger payouts around probably because of there poor variety of offerings.

Ive also heard that the wales account for most of the money for casinos.
I mean, you have to have 111.11 Kroffes playing whos the bride on 9p/spin just to match one guy doing £10/spin.

Putting that aside, ive also heard its the livegames bringing in the big bucks.
That the real highrollers are playing roulette&blackjack and not starburst xxxtreme.
Jokes on them, they will never hit 150 000x on blackjack.

Edit: Was it 200 000x max win on SB xxxtreme?

That's true and used to be much more like that some years ago, now as we all probably have seen from various threads here, quite big penalties given to casinos and probably many experienced as well, loads have changed in last years. We don't have to travel too many years back in time when things were really different because of less regulations and monitoring.

You can't really accept big deposits without any SOW verifications to know how these deposits are funded and sometimes (quite often actually) it comes up that your great VIP player is playing way more than sustainable amounts based on their income, then when you see bank statements where are loads of payday loans and other things which are not really pointing any healthy way to gamble, you as casino have to react these and limit or even exclude players.

Some casinos pre-set limits to player accounts (especially certain markets like UK) just to make it easier to monitor player activities and make sure somebody can't blow their whole year income in few hours etc... I think it's a "healthier" way to enforce some limits which are maybe based on countries average disposable income or what so ever and if you wanna play £30k in month, you need to show that you can afford it.

It's after all quite small amount of people who can afford to lose lot every month, that's why also some countries (i think UK included but too lazy to check) have made rules that before you can make player VIP, you need to complete SOW, which kind of makes sense. Being VIP is just so important for some people that they really might end up to spend more than they can afford, just to keep their status (which is again not really healthy gambling).

I personally would prefer to have huge amount of low rollers instead of few VIP:s, risk is just so much smaller and you hardly can get trouble if some grown up person spend few hundreds on some month vs somebody spending £30k/month and now as we have seen, casinos do actually get penalized from accepting crazy deposit amounts without verifying where these are coming from (and unfortunately in some cases problem gamblers been stealing big amounts from work etc...).
