Ultimate Casino NJ Issues/Comments

And there it is, IGT's Diamond Queen. Sweet game with a nice bonus round consisting of 3 free spins with 1, then 2, then 3 wild reels and an extra spin symbol. I am really liking seeing these B&M games on-line.

Keep 'em coming!

Glad you like it. You'll be interested in the next few games too. Next up will be an IGT B&M classic, followed by a smash hit IGT/H5G game that was a huge success in the B&M casinos. I'll then have a really interesting IGT online original game, that will eventually find it's way into the B&M casino. All coming over the next few weeks, I'll keep you posted.

I'm really starting to see a pattern here. Is Wager Works no longer in business or did IGT decide not to bring those games into the US?

Why? Everytime it would see the Double Down casino on Facebook brings in a game. You guys are getting it too... so is double down providing the games for US players and not IGT's Wager Works that the rest of the world gets?

I really liked the Wager Works format, because it seems to have a better portfolio of IGT games over the current IGT offering here in the US.

Maybe I'm wrong in that aspect? Please correct me if I am.

I can certainly explain all of this.

Wagerworks is the name of the company IGT bought several years ago, now known as IGT Interactive. Double Down was also bought by IGT a couple of years ago. IGT Interactive's main product is the IGT rgs (remote gaming server), which is the vehicle through which they deliver all of their games. There are currently 5 installations of the RGS across the world, in Guernsey (eur), Gibraltar (eur), Kamloops (can), Atlantic City (us), and a cloud based installation. All of IGT's customers are connected to one of these systems, (with a small number of exceptions who may have some old locally hosted titles like 888 do).

The european systems have all of IGTi's games available through the system.

The cloud based system is the one double down connects to, which is unregulated, double down casino is activating those games periodically, working their way through the back-catalog in whatever order they desire.

The NJ and Canada systems are covered by different regulators to the European systems, the DGE and BCLC. Both of those regulators insist on re-certifying each and every IGT game. Once they approve the game IGT is able to activate in that installation, and we are able to publish to our web site. Ultimate Casino currently has every single approved IGT game published, and we are hoping to continue to publish a new game every 2 weeks as the DGE tests and approves them.

In fact, if I look in the IGT rgs back office application we can see all of the titles there, just they are currently inactive. IGT is submitting their games to the DGE for approval and activating them in an order which they choose. So as IGT are in control of the order for both NJ and Doubledown, that is probably why there is some correlation.

Over time you will eventually see most of IGT's back catalog, that is available in Europe, in New Jersey. They would like to give us far more, but the DGE hoops must be jumped through first.

Hope that's interesting.

Check out our latest slot from IGT. The classic stepper Double Diamond is up on our site right now.

Nice, a three reeler for a change. I'm working on getting a screenie for this thread but it's being a little stubborn (I want at least 100X for here).

Can you give us any insight into why, for the most part, IGT games seem to take longer than others from when the spin button is pressed till the reels stop and the win is awarded?

It's been well documented in several threads here and I have experienced it also.

The permission threshold also seems to be higher for IGT games, ie; on some of the multi-platform sites I can always play games from other providers but I may get a "Session could not be authenticated" error if I try to play an IGT game.

Perhaps the result for each spin needs to be channeled through IGT to be 'authenticated' before going to the player?

Does IGT require that their games use a random number generator on their own server, as opposed to say an RNG maintained by the State or by your company (Ultimate Gaming)?

There certainly seems to be a difference in response time that has, so far, defied explanation.

Glad you like it, it's a nice old-school one line slot, clean and simple.

Some of the other operators use both their own slots and 3rd party content from companies like IGT, for example the bwin.party casino (party and borgata), and the Gamesys (virgin and tropicana). There is a difference between these two types. Their own games will all be housed in the same data center as their core platform, where as the 3rd party content is located in the suppliers data center. So, when you try to open an IGT game, a message goes from your computer to IGT to request that game, IGT then sends a message to the operator's platform to ask if this is a player is authentic. If IGT receives either nothing or no from the operator, then you see a 'could not authenticate session message' This kind of error indicates a technical issue with the operator's integration to IGT. I think everyone has had technical problems in NJ as there were so many new requirements that the regulators insisted on which caused some problems early on. I think at Ultimate we have solved all known issues with IGT, so please do report any issues you have to our customer service so we can get on it.

As for the lag with each spin, you are correct in thinking the rng is located in IGT's data center, so with every single spin you make there are messages passing between your computer, IGT and the operator's platform. Any delays to any of those messages being passed over the internet can cause a delay. We have also made a number of system improvements to ensure our platform responds as quickly as possible to messages for 3rd party platforms which has improved this situation a lot.

As always, let us know of any problems you experience.

Hey UltimateJ,

I just noticed a minor discrepancy on the new game Double Diamond. On all the other games when I place a bet the balance at the bottom goes down accordingly and after the wager is complete the balance at the top reflects the new balance. This game is not updating the upper balance as seen in the screenie below.

There has been no discrepancy once I leave the game and I haven't been shortchanged in any way but I thought I would bring this to your attention.

BTW, any chance of seeing the five line version of Triple Diamond? For a long time that was one of my B&M favorites.

Thanks for the report, I have tested this and it's definitely an issue just affecting that game. I have reported it to IGT and we'll get it fixed asap. (pm me your account's email and I'll see if I can drop a little thank you in there for you.)
As for Triple Diamond, I will also send this request to the games product manager at IGT, I know they are very excited at the prospects for Double Diamond, and if it is a success they will make more of this style of slot.
Thanks

Ultimate has hit a few nice Home Runs lately with the new games but this latest release, Double Diamond, is a high pop-fly right to the shortstop IMO.:D I gotta be over 2000 spins and 20X total wager is about the best I have been able to muster. It certainly strings you along but nothing big, seems very low variance to me.

Nice game but not my cuppa tea!

Been around 2 weeks so really looking forward to the next new slot.

In the meantime I have noticed that the game 'Day of the Dead' will not let me increase my wager above 1 coin per line ($0.50 per spin). I raised this issue with support and they told me that is the only wager available for that game, even in 'Demo' mode it wont let you raise your bet above 1 coin per line. In the other casinos that feature this game you can indeed raise your bet so not sure if that's all you want players to wager on this game or if it's an error. I'm assuming it's the latter.

Anyways, looking forward to the next one....

It is true that the manufacturers make slots for all tastes, seems like you like the more volatile games that have some really big wins. Anyway, I will leak the info here that we will have Golden Goddess from IGT/H5G up tomorrow, hope you will like that one, you may have played it in the casinos as it is a very popular game.

It is true that day of the dead only allows 1c per line and it is not an error, that is the set up that was determined by our slot math team because it's an extremely volatile game.

I haven't played Golden Goddess yet but just watched a little preview vid. Looks like a slot I will certainly enjoy with lots of stuff going on. You keep bringing 'em and I'll keep playing 'em.

As far as 'Day of the Dead' if your team says it is very highly volatile I'll have to throw a few more spins on it and see what happens. On first look it appears to be just a different skin for Siberian Storm (and Fire Horse and a couple of others) but I was pretty sure it played (and paid) differently.

Thanks for the reply and I'm off to 'Day of the Dead'!

Golden Goddess is a really nice game and even though I can't seem to get the really big win on it yet it has given me very good returns so far so that one is a definite thumbs up .

Now this newest one, Western Belles, I think has huge potential. One bonus round on this looks like it will be a Jackpot with a very real potential for a screen full of wilds. I got 344 spins on it so far, no bonus round yet but some nice wins along the way;

So far I have not had a 1000X on any of the NJ sites but I think either Diamond Queen or Western Belles can certainly do it.

Ya know Big John for sure I'm now sure there isn't coincidence, pretty much once Double Down releases a game or Ultimate Casino does. One gets the same game within a few days to a week. I know he explained there owned by the same company and all pretty much. Yet I just figured IGT would come out with some more classic titles first versus releasing all of these unknown games really.

I actually got an e-mail from Ultimate telling me a pair of new games coming up. 'She's a Rich Girl' and 'Monopoly Dream Life'.

To me, it doesn't really matter what games they release or in what order I just want to see quality and variety. You know, not the same old thing with a different skin ala 99% of RTG games.

So far Ultimate has been providing that and I still have very high expectations for them as I really like the idea that they are '100% made in USA' and I will support whatever they do.

Some new features launched

Now on Ultimate Casino NJ, some new games from our new content partner Amaya, with more to come soon.

We also have our new and improved geolocation service, which should make it possible for some people to play who previously couldn't.

Also look out for our new mobile casino that will be in the apple store very soon, for iphone and ipad only right now.

Feedback always appreciated.

You forgot to mention that some of those who could play before can't now, lol.:eek2:

I downloaded and installed the new geolocation software and tried 4 different IP addresses (I live in a wi-fi hot spot for several different providers) on the same computer I always use and could not connect. Maricel (Ace) was very helpful and tried to get me connected but, alas, no joy.

The new system might need a tweak here and there.:D

I'll try again tomorrow

All right, I started early this morning figuring to get this problem solved and, voila, verified immediately on first try!

Very fast also so kudos to the Ultimate team.

I have a couple of questions...

Last month I was in Las Vegas signed up and deposited on Ultimate Poker...Say I'm in New Jersey , can I use the same account to the access the site there?

Also I ended up leaving a small balance on the site...Once I get back to my home state is there a way to withdrawl those funds? Can I just leave it in there for the next time I return to Vegas or does it zero out the account after so many days of inactivity?

Had no issues accessing the site from the casinos wifi when I was in both Las Vegas and Reno last month. Great site just needs more active games and players.

Great to hear, here are some answers for you....
You do need to open a separate account for use in our New Jersey system, the regulations do not allow us to share the accounts across States. As for any balance you left in your account, you can request a cashout by check, which we will mail to your home address. You can leave the funds in your account, they will only be zeroed after 720 days of inactivity, so I guess it depends how soon you will be returning to Nevada.

Just because im curious, what happens to the balances that are zeroed after 720 days

Sure, although it has not happened yet as no one has been operating long enough yet, the funds are handed to Nevada GCB, who will hold it in trust. Players can then reclaim it from them.

Two nice new IGT games now up and running on Ultimate.

Monopoly Dream Run, 20 lines with stacked wilds and cascading reels and a pick feature for the free spin bonus game.

Shes a Rich Girl is a 9 liner with the 'Diamond Run' feature.

Very nice new games, keep 'em coming!

I like this casino.

It's the only one that I have been able to play IGT video poker. The other casinos I have tried give an error message when I try to launch the game.

I can also access the casino on my ipad, which is nice and the cashier is easier to navigate

Looking forward to evaluating the withdrawal process. :D
