It seems that since today’s announcement that the UK government will pay 80% of wages, coupled with the demand on closing down leisure premises, pretty much all UK land based gambling establishments have announced closures.
- All national bingo chains such as Buzz and Mecca
- Arcade chain Admiral have closed as of 8pm, Cashino are rumoured to be closing from midnight.
- Betfred have publicly announced all shops will close with immediate effect.
- Grosvenor Casino have announced they’re closing right away.
There’s a few other big companies like William Hill still to announce, but looks like gambling
in the UK is to be completely be shifted online.
