A £2 limit will drive a lot of slot players to offshore unregulated sites and in all intents and purposes destroy the UK marketplace. IMO
That's exactly what will happen. Obviously, the UKGC doesn't feel that players can choose their own wagering limits, and they will do this for them. Yet, I am sure the land based casinos in the UK won't be held to these same standards.A £2 limit will drive a lot of slot players to offshore unregulated sites and in all intents and purposes destroy the UK marketplace. Yeah - playing right into the hands of Cherry 'WELCOMEBONUS500%UPTO£4000!!!' Fiesta and the like.I believe we're already seeing the effects of this. The up-tick in Complaints from UK players at Curacao casinos -- for instance -- is a clear indication of what we can expect in the coming months.
Im sure 90% of players bet less than £2 ? Or less im completely wrong haha, and them who do more than £2 surley understand and be more weary of dodgy casinosA £2 limit will drive a lot of slot players to offshore unregulated sites and in all intents and purposes destroy the UK marketplace. IMO
It won’t effect me as my stake is usually between £0.40- £1.00 but on the occasion when your on a good run session and you want to play at a higher stake all within means hoping for that big hit, it is my choice responsibly playingIm sure 90% of players bet less than £2 ? What short sightedness are u referring to??you only have to look at the problems people are having from other countries who don’t have the protection the UKGC afford us.the UK market has already had a lot of casinos pulling out if the ukgc does keep up their short sightedness what’s to say the rest won’t just leave uk market, margins are supposedly tight to start with or so I’ve read,
It’s always only ever guess work without any figures regarding the percentage of people who’d be effected by this, regarding the percentage who play responsibly at or above the £2.00 level should be allowed to its their choiceWhat short sightedness are u referring to??you only have to look at the problems people are having from other countries who don’t have the protection the UKGC afford us.
What percentage of players actually go above the £2 mark? I’d say not very many as a whole the majority of those effected by all these restrictions are those who line their pockets from this industry the strongest will survive the big operators.
Obviously being pushed by certain providers getting round the bonus buys bit of an own goal IMHO..

All high stake streamers will become jobless.
Good. Anything above 2 pound is ridiculous and if you have that much money to waste go to Vegas rather than spinning 10 pound in your underpants at home.
Hopefully this pushes people back to sports betting like good old days
