Some days ago I wanted to try some new casinos, and placed 75USD in a brand new account at UK Club Casino.
I got the bonus in my bonus account, and lost it quite in a fast way.
Then I turned to the main account, played for a while and cashed out 102 USD: a net profit of 27 USD, something that shouldn't kill any casino (except may be some RTGs...).
After a few days, no sight of this money on my neteller account. So I checked my account and was able to find out that the tokens had been returned. I contacted the live help and a nice operator told me that my account had been locked. I answered that I had used it 5 minutes earlier and did not seem locked. The operator replied that it had just been locked. I tried to log in again: I was successfull and could even play any game. The operator was perplexed and in any case I asked that I would have been curious to know the reasons for that.
I was told that investagion was going to be carried out by the management. Then I would have got an answer.

    Conclusions
    1) I'm curious to know the reasons of the locking :what:
    2) I'm surprised that at UK Casino Gold you can play with a locked account
    3) Nobody tried to contact me to ask me something concerning the motivations that caused their decisions (not even an e-mail)

In any case I will not play anymore there and decided to throw away the few chips that were returned playing in an unorthodox way. They were basically a try, and the try went in the wrong way.
I do not complain for the locked account (i do not know the raesons and many times it's a procedure taken for the safety of the player), but just that nobody notified me anything and the kind operator appeared not to have an idea of what he/she was talking about.
Casinos live on players: a little more respect would be much appreciated.

I'm just sorry for the Spearmaster that will not get a lot of commissions from me: I'm quite sure I had used one of his links for the opening of the account (sorry Bryan, but I wanted to show some little appreciation also for his web site)

How much was returned to the Real Account? This isn't a reputable casino, by the way.

They won't tell you how much you need to wager to turn the Bonus Account into real money and they can change this at anytime. You probably had money returned to the Real Account because you also need to meet wagering requirements there.

If you ever manage to transfer anything form the Bonus Account to your Real Account you will need to wager it again 20 times or so in the Real Account too!

This Casino Action Group should be avoided. The six casinos in this group are:

Music Hall Casino (acquired last year)
    Golden Reef Casino
    Challenge Casino (acquired last year)
    Aztec Riches Casino
    Poker.com
    UK Casino Club

Then why have they been listed here since they've been online with seldom a complaint?

Since when? I've never heard of this problem.

Well, actually I never transferred anything to the real account and I started to play there when the bonus account was at 0. So I guess that in this case there shouldn't be WR on the real account. That's what I deducted from the T&C. But anything can be possible since everything is changing any given day for what it concerns bonuses. I was never a fan of them, and now I'm even less.
But at the end what I didn't like was the (supposed?!?) lock of the account without any contact with me.
Concerning the group of casinos, I have no elements to judge them and I trust the Meister if he places them in the reputable list.
Maybe they should work more in costumer care...
Thanks in any case for the useful feedback from all of you. This is the reason of the success of this forum.

Actually, these hardly constitute legitimate complaints. Most of these are year old threads of people complaining that they don't like or understand the bonus system. There is nothing here that has been presented to the casino anticipating and receiving a response.

There is no scam going on. No one is being ripped off. The casino operators are reputable and trustworthy IMO. If anyone has a legitimate gripe that needs a response, lets hear it, and I'll ensure we get some feedback from the casinos.

I don't really understand how their bonus system is fair. They say they don't have to disclose the rate at which money is transferred from the bonus account to the real account. I think this is misleading to many players and is the reason why i think it is a disreputable action by a supposedly reputable casino group.

This is what I want to get clarified. I use the same sort of bonus system at Captain Cooks and it is pretty clear. I thought that this was more or less the same. I anticipate some answers soon.

They have been doing it for quite a while. They state in the rules that you have to wager the bonus account 20 times for you to transfer funds from the bonus account. Most people assume you can then transfer the whole bonus account. Not quite. It just means you can transfer at all. After 20 times its something like 2$ you can transfer:)

Since they decide the rate of transfer manually it will take 100x/200x/300x playthrough to transfer the whole bonus account. The casino can at any point change the rate of transfer. So this is very different from Captain Cooks.

This is a scam of course and all casinos mentioned should be avoided.

Found the following chat with their customer service at another forum. Quite hilarious and very sad.

You are now chatting with 'Taleah R'

Customer: I signed up and got the match bonus of $125. How much do I have to wager at blackjack in order to transfer this to my real account?

Casino Support: Hello, how may I help you today? There are two accounts that you use to play at the casino. A real one and a bonus one. Any purchase you make will be put in the real account. Any bonuses will be put in the bonus account. As you play using your bonus money, you will accumulate REAL money. The longer you play in your bonus account, the more REAL money you will accumulate. You may view how much you have accumulated via the Casino Action in your bonus account. The REAL money can be transferred out of your bonus account and into your real account at any time. Please note that there is no wagering requirement on your bonus account. You have to meet the wagering requirements only on your real account. When you play using your bonus money, you will accumulate real money that you can transfer into your real account. Once you transfer it over to your real money account, you may play the money or cash it in. The longer you play on your bonus account the more real money you will accrue. Please note that

Customer: ok, what's the rate that it's gets converted from bonus to real money? if I want to transfer, say, $100 dollars from bonus to real account, How much do I have to wager in bonus account to be able to transfer this? Hello?

Casino Support: Please note that there is no wagering requirement on your bonus account. The longer you play on your bonus account the more real money you will accrue.

Customer: OK, I understand that, what's the rate that I accrue it? If I bet $100 dollars in blackjack, how much will that allow me to transfer to real account?

Casino Support: There is no rate

Customer: What do you mean? does it depend on time?

Casino Support: The longer you play on your bonus account the more real money you will accrue

Customer: longer as in time or more money wagered?

Casino Support: The amount you wager does not really matter

    Customer: Than what does?

Casino Support: It depends on how often you play and how much your bets are and how much you win etc.

Customer: basically, how much/long do I have to play blackjack to convert my bonus money to real money? There has to be some set amount...

    Casino Support: No there isnt

Customer: Can I withdraw my money in my real acocunt if I haven't transfered anything to it from bonus account?

Casino Support: As you are playing keep checking in casino action and trying to see how much you can transfer. Yes, they are separate accounts

Customer: Who decides how much I can transfer? there has to be some way that it's determined....How is that done?

Casino Support: I am not told. It is worked out by someone else

    Customer: WHAT?

Casino Support: Please just play a little and keep checking. And then you will get some idea about how the bonus scheme works

Customer: Is there a phone number I can call and talk with someone who would know?

Casino Support: No. Sorry we do not tell any one because there is no exact amount. You just have to play

Customer: If I haven't played at all in my real account, and haven't transfered anything to it, can I withdrawl my original deposit?

Casino Support: Yes. That is fine

Customer: That's the most absurd bonus terms I have ever heard of
    Thanks for your time.

Casino Support: As long as you have not touched the bonus then we can refund you. Go to the bank. And select a cashin from the real account Then we can refund you

Customer: If I played like 5 hands from bonus?

Casino Support: Once you have used the bonus you cannot get A refund

    Customer: ok

I opened this thread just because I think I had faced a case of very poor costumer care. There was no intention to argue on the bonus system of UKCC. Nevertheless also this topic is interesting and maybe everybody will have clearer ideas at the end...

PS: Still waiting the promised explanation for the locking of my account...

Their promised answer is still missing, and the delay is really too long, also for a poor costumer care.
By the way, I can still log in in my "locked" account and receive all promotional e-mails. Bizarre, isn't it?!?

Somehow this thread escaped my attention... LOL...

Padanian, thanks very much for signing up through Got2Bet. The only link we have to this casino is the review, so I assume you must have been through a lot of reading :)

The review was written when UK Casino Club was under its old management, though I confess I also know the current management and apart from the problems with its bonus system, they are generally considered to be honest.

Only the Integrity Casinos group (Captain Cooks and Casino Kingdom) and this group actually use the bonus account system to the best of my knowledge - however Integrity has a simple method for applying playthrough requirements, whereas the Casino Action group uses a very complicated, convoluted, practically impossible system to understand.

I asked the group to make this method public for players - and they actually told me that they would be looking into doing that. Sadly this does not appear to have been the case at this point - and I have made it quite clear to them that their system is most certainly not acceptable to me under the current circumstances.

Therefore, we do not actively promote any of their casinos, though we do have reviews for UK Casino Club and Aztec Riches which were written some time ago and probably need some updating (translated: when I have time, I will make some amendments if they do not make their bonus system public).

I do not, however, feel that there is any reason to remove the reviews at this time as they are otherwise honest and I have not had any complaints sent to me yet - however, I will of course assist anyone who does sign up through the Got2Bet links if they should have a problem - so if you do not get any answers quickly please send me an email with your account details and I will get to the bottom of it as fast as I can.

    Thanks for your post Spearmaster.
The review was interesting as well as the other ones.
Bonus is an hot topic at the moment (and maybe it could be a good moment for you to update your articles on this subject) and I didn't want to make an issue out of it with my post. I was just perplexed in how they dealt with me, especially in a market like these ones where potential clients can find so many alternatives.
The fact that other forum members decided to analyze the unusual bonus system is maybe a symptom that the situation is far from clear.

Their support leaves a bit to be desired - but I also suspect that she was hiding the fact that even she doesn't know the calculation used! I think that this calculation is probably automated - otherwise you can imagine the hassle for support to manually calculate the play through for various different games, especially if you've actually tried out a number of the games, as bonuses were originally designed for LOL.

Thanks for the comments - I will try and get something done as soon as I have a chance - I'm on the road now.

I discussed this bonus situation with the casino reps last in May, and they were planning on revamping this. It looks like this has been done over the last couple of days "the revamped version is to allow the bonuses deposited into the bonus account and after 10X Play Through Requirement, the players can withdraw any winnings. The bonus is not withdrawable and will remain in the bonus account and can continue to be played."

Again, if this runs the same as Captain Cooks - this would be a really great thing. I have nothing but praise for this sort of system.

Sounds like they went ahead and made it fully sticky, so its not like Captain Cooks. Anyway, its better to have a sticky bonus with clear rules than a non-sticky with very suspect rules.
