U.S. is back.. wooohooo

Seems like the only good thing about NJ now is this...

Moved here about 12 years ago and have been planning my escape ever since.

Ultimately depositing and playing at a non-CM approved site does seem to be a bit of a risk atm. Wondering if it's not better to wait for all the legislation to works it's way through before I jump in with both feet. Thoughts?

I'm waiting for a casino called wepayyouinatimelyfashioncasino.com, that I can get behind in a heart beat. HA!

The partner sites for the NJ online casinos are providing and maintaining the platform, that's it. They are not going to have any say in the financial transactions between the casino and the player.

No knock on CM but I would place NJ accreditation well above it.

NJ accreditation has the force of actual law, the casinos are required to follow it. CM has no such power. CM can name and shame and rogue but cannot shut down a bad casino.

NJ law can.

These casinos will pay you right back into your bank account if you use a debit card or send you a check that you can cash or deposit at your bank without being looked at like you are a crook.

Rejoice, it's here! (Or at least it will be come Tuesday if everything goes well with the trial period)

You funny guy!

Lol! Thought you might get a good laugh out of that ;)

Looks like the 'partner' sites for these new New Jersey online casinos are handling the support also. I didn't expect that and I hope it is only a temporary thing, perhaps while training is going on.

They may be handling the money also, but it will be according to our regulations.

For me that cuts out Bogata (Bwin), Trump Plaza (Betfair), and probably Caesars (888). I think I'll do the majority of my gaming on the Trump Taj site (Ultimate Gaming), The Golden Nugget (developing own platform) and the Tropicana site (Virgin).

In an earlier post I stated that none of them partnered up CM accredited sites, seems I was wrong. It's nice to see Virgin in there and, now that they have been sold to GameSys, if they will maintain their standards.

bugs in the system

I was just in NJ and thought I'd check out the online gaming a bit. Made some small deposits and tried to play. I was in the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City using their in room wifi and could not play because I could not be verified as being in the state of NJ.

Oh well, their loss.

They said this was quite common and people playing from their houses had a much better chance, although I know my home wifi often return an out of state address.

Better get their acts together, this could be big and would hate to see them blow it.

BTW, none of the casinos seemed really prepared. There was nascent advertising and the promotions were rather putrid.

Agreed on all of that. They appear to be making a huge blunder.

I certainly hope they can turn it around, to be fair though, this is really only day 2.

I think they are giving the off shore 'partners' too much say in the operations.

Help Wanted! Canary for the coal mine

Just figured I'd wait a few weeks to let the different sites sort out their issues. Want someone on this site to make a deposit, win and get paid before I jump in and be the CM guinea pig.

Pretty risk aversive behavior from a guy that regularly gambles in person and online...

I've been depositing, only small amounts, to get a feel for it. So far the games seem pretty low variance and the few I have seen that quoted their RTP it was in the 94% - 96% range.

The two times I kept track of my RTP it was around 70%, pretty much what I get every place I play at nowadays.

I will probably sit and watch now for a week or two and see if they expand the slot selections, maybe make a bigger deposit midway through December. I will cash out something from that just to see how that goes.

Finally, a couple of decent wins.

Had a nice session at Ultimate Casino including this 93X on Monopoly plus;

Then a nice run on Siberian Storm. I like this game in the B&M casinos but I usually go over 100 spins for a feature but I had these 3 within 77 spins;

I deposited $30, gambled $247.50 and still have $50 left in my account to try again tomorrow.

Ultimate will be getting the majority of my business.

I just initiated my first withdrawal attempt at a new NJ online casino, it is from Caesars. I submitted a withdrawal for $100 by bank transfer. On the confirmation page it states normal processing can take up to 10 days. No request for extra documents as of yet. I will update this post when it hits my bank.

10 days, 10 days! oh that site has hit the ground running in regards to customer satisfaction. I do hope things get better for you guys!

Bigjohn were there quicker payout options available? Just curious, because I would expect them to be paying quicker than what we have now. As I understand there might be payment issues to iron out in terms of this whole US online gaming thing getting going but what I would hate to see is payment times similar or worst than what we have now. My main excitement with gambling being full stream in the U.S. had more to do with finally getting quick payouts again.......and of course seeing new platforms, as well as old friends coming back.

3dice for example is instant....well was with okpay, but even paying by check I receive my check in a week or slightly less. And that's a check. Just saying I would like to see the US thing get started on the right foot. U.S. players have spent enough time with the whole waiting on long payout times. Need to see some instant options or close to it, as it is possible. They get the money fast, we should as well. It's what makes gambling in other countries so appealing. It's like being at a local B&M, but inside your house. You win, and walk away with your money then and there. Free to deposit else where, or buy a round a drinks.

i have a inkling that they don't realize that the casino's that we are playing right now [baring poker wtich mystifies me on there problems across the board ] are going to be the standards to beat :eek2:

At the Caesars site all they listed was bank transfer or check. For check they claim 24-48 hrs. to process then regular mail time, i guess 2-3 days, so that probably would have been quicker.

In my experience 10 days is about half or less than the average time it has taken me to get paid in the past; for example, I have a payout coming from Treasure Mile and it is supposed to be here 12/3. That will be 3 days short of a month.

There was talk of having Skrill and they have started a US branch but for some reason they could not identify me. They use some kind of auto-identify system that is supposed to find you after you answer a series of question but it didn't work for me.

The fastest time I have seen so far that I could use is to pick up my cash-out from the cashiers cage inside the actual casino. That should be 24-48 hrs. after requesting, plus a 4 1/2 hour round trip for me. For me the speed is not that important because of the delays from the past. Reliability, variety and no BS from the casinos or my bank are the keys for me.

I am sure the payout times will get shorter and shorter as time goes by.

Compared to the way I used to have to jump through hoops to deposit and/or withdraw, there is no comparison.

I can deposit as little as $10 without running around trying to find a place to load my card and I pay no deposit fees from my regular bank debit card (which is gladly accepted) or the casino. I can cashout with no fees from the casino and I don't think my bank will charge me because it will not be a 'wire' just a transfer, but I will fill you guys in on that when my first cashout hits my bank.

Just a quick note, just because you don't live in NJ does not mean you can't open an account at any of these new casinos. You can register and look around to see what is available. This way if you ever come to NJ for vacation or just to visit our lovely state (lol) you will have an idea where you might want to try.

I'm sure as competition rolls out things will get better stateside and the field will level as in the Eurozone, these are early days.

So far as I thumbed thru the casino web sites.

All of the casinos
Caesars
Borgata
Trump Plaza
Tropicana

All offer credit card and eCheck deposits

For pay outs they all offered eChecks or cash at the cashier cage

Yet I have found one casino so far that is offering Skrill. Which honestly if eChecks are honestly depositing in less than a week. Unless if there offering instant pay outs to Skrill and instant deposits. I don't see the Tropicana having any real advantage except on the credit card home front. Where if they casino can't take the card directly. They might have a second better chance with Skrill. Plus it looks like if you have a 7-11 near you, you can also deposit cash at a 7-11. Interesting options for Tropicana. At least a few more than the rest.

I suppose we'll see where this goes over the next few months. I'm hoping NJ can sign agreements with other states soon to allow people to play games across state lines. Yet I see that still being a hurdle to cross that might take some time yet.

Still looks like some nice setup though.

((EDIT)) I'm going to leave the rest in tact, because I failed to finish reading the right sections of the site. Apparently Skill withdrawals are immediate so yeah, if other online casinos would offer this as an option. You could play for a while all weekend long.

Question for those already signed up for real money in the Garden State

Can you guys tell me if they offer BJ(and any 21 variants) and what the table limits(minimums and maximums) are?

Thanks

Two more withdrawals from the new NJ casinos. 12/10, deposited $40 at Golden Nuggget, ACH in my bank today, 12/13.

Tonight, deposited $20 at Betfair (Trump Plaza site) cashed out $80, site says it will be in my bank in 4-5 days.

I think I'm starting to really like this.

Had a couple more wins over 100X, all small stakes but most enjoyable. Heres a 121X and a 137X from IGT's Star Trek.

Any other Garden Staters playing?

What would you say your experience has been like? How would you compare IGT to RTG?

Can you see huge difference in terms of cash-outs, playing time, graphics, and the frequency of features?

Can you see RTG withstanding the test of time now that the USA has opened it's doors to other game providers? I ask specifically in regards to RTG because apart from 3 Dice and Rival (which I quite like myself) I think that RTG would have been a more popular choice as the USA didn't have many other softwares to choose from. I know that Inetbet has already branched out to Europe. What is your opinion?

I wish I could play IGT :(
