Two questions .. Online Casino and Friendly Atlanta play?

zboyblue

Dormant account
Hello! I am new here .. I found the forum by searching google and hope that I have found the right place! : )

I am in Atlanta and love vegas and just recently went to Tunica which I liked ok (I left being up $2400 so whats not to like? : )

I used to enjoy playing online but after the govt thing I cant play anymore. Is there anywhere that I could play BJ online?

Also, I have often thought it would be fun to play BJ in person with others in the Atlanta area. Is there any good way to figure out who is where and who might want to play?

Thanks in advance!

Craig

Welcome to the forum!
You definitely have come to the right place - the net's No.1 casino forum!

If you click on 'Accredited Casinos' in the bar near the top of this screen you should find CasinoMeister's list of casinos OK for you.

If no good, some of the other members here have lists of USA friendly sites on their own websites...

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Sort of thing Borat would say :D

Seriously though, there are some casinos that still take US players but you might want to check on your legal position before you play online. Additionally, even though finding a casino might be possible, it seems the main obstacle is how you get paid now the banks and eWallets have pulled out.

In your location (Georgia), the main options are most Microgaming, most RTG, and a few of the smaller software providers. With Microgaming, EcoCard is often the best option for money transfers. Some of the RTGs, like Bodog, have their own system. Withdrawals will be more awkward with some casino groups than others. You can search the forums for more specific information.

Thanks for the replies!

When you say legal position what do you mean? Where can I check that and what does it mean to me? When you say Microgaming what does that mean? Is that the software the casino uses or what? Can a good live blackjack and/or single deck place be recomended without me having to dig though a list and hope I get the right one? What are you guys using?

What about the local play idea?

Thanks for the help!

Hi zboyblue,

Welcome to the forum.

Regardless of any state or federal law, what it boils down to is: "Will the casino pay me if I win?" As a player, that is what you should concern yourself with.

Some casinos interpret US state laws in different ways. Some disregard them altogether claiming that the jurisdiction of the casino's servers have precedence. The simplest way to cut through this confusion is to ask the casino straight up.

Contact their support via email - state where you are from, and ask them if they would honor your winnings. If you are between the ages of 18-21, ask them if this is an issue as well.

Keep all emails and chat sessions. Do not make agreements over the phone.

That's the software. Check the "Accredited Section" and it's listed by software provider. https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/ Since you are in the states, this is a "add-free" site (no banners - no hyper-text links). Each casino listed in the "Accredited" section has a casino rep listed here, and you can ask them yourself:

If you chose to stray from the casinos listed here, please read the following:
