The man could barely believe his eyes, however much he rubbed them. Slowly the truth began to sink in.

Just a simple two-euro bet. The wheels spin and stop. And that two-euro bet lands the €6.9 million jackpot.

Don’t say it’s just a dream? Please, it can’t be a dream? He could barley sleep all night, not until the early hours of the morning.

When he eventually woke up he could still not quite comprehend what had happened. He opened his computer and logged into his Paf.com account to see if it was really true.

It was true. It was not just a dream. It was there on his screen. He had actually won €6.9 million.

The Helsinki man, who will soon turn 30, is not the only Paf player have been a the lucky winner recently. Last year a Swedish player landed a €5.3 million jackpot. Our Paf players have therefore won two of the three largest online jackpots in Northern Europe.

And several large Paf jackpots still remain, such as Arabian Nights, which at the time of writing has a jackpot of over €6 million.

We at Paf would again like to congratulate our lucky Mega Fortune jackpot winner.

Well played!

Took this from Paf's site.Didn't see a thread about it since its the 2nd largest jackpot ever so it's worth mentioning.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Proof is in the pudding, and goes to show that a lot of people are playing at Netent casinos, add this to them winning software of the year and this hopefully will give MGS (In particular the slot devs team) the kick up the ass they so badly need, and stop throwing rehashed and modernised old slot formats at us, with Jackpots more rarer than a thank you from VWM :p.

January 24, 2012 08:47

A €6,864,858 prize has been won on Net Entertainment’s progressive jackpot slot, Mega Fortune™ on Paf.com casino following on from September’s world record payout.

The prize of €6,864,858– equivalent to £5,707,230 or $8,780,151 – was won by a 30 year old man from Helsinki, Finland, on January 17/18, 2012 on Paf.com. The previous jackpot was won in September last year, paying €11.7million, which was confirmed as the largest online slots jackpot by Guinness World Records. The latest jackpot on Mega Fortune™ had built up to almost €7million in just four months.

Mega Fortune™ is a progressive jackpot slot which is part of Net Entertainment’s jackpot network, pooling the liquidity of players from several of Europe’s largest online casinos. Since its launch in 2008, Mega Fortune™ has become one of the most popular games in Net Entertainment’s portfolio. During the last year alone Mega Fortune™ has paid out over €26million to lucky players around the world.

Paf.com is a gaming company based on the island of Åland in the Baltic Sea between Finland and Sweden. Anders Sims, PR Manager at Paf.com, commented, “This is a very proud moment for everyone at Paf.com and we would like to pass on our congratulations to the winner. We are a gaming company that was established with the sole purpose of generating money for good causes and we have already donated €160million over the years. It’s a real honour for us that such a huge jackpot has been won on Paf.com.”

“It has been an incredible few months for Mega Fortune™ and we are thrilled that the jackpot had grown to such a high figure in only four months after breaking the world record in September. We would like to congratulate the winner and we look forward to some more huge payouts in 2012,” said Björn Krantz, Acting President and CEO at Net Entertainment.

LMAO

You would think Vinylweatherman was under the impression that he would be billed at the end of the month for each time he used the thanks button. The worst Scrooge D'Thanks of all time. It's almost like our posts are never as good as his, but I'm sure that's just an unintended consequence of his frugality.

OK sorry back to enjoying someone else's millions....
