Check out these stats, over 15000 spins and didn't hit anything better than mixed sevens for 80x stake.

I wasn't expecting the progressive but something a bit better than that would have been nice!

I feel violated, and not in a good way

I remember Slotjunkies ran a contest in conjunction with 32Red on this slot. The aim was to get the biggest win. NOONE managed any better that mixed sevens for £20, and everybody had to share the prizes. It seems the higher wins are almost as rare as the progressive.

Chopley, you're punishing yourself playing that many spins, if I couldn't hit anything within the first 100 I'd leave and play another slot, how could you be bothered doing that to yourself?

I love this machine (check my avatar :D ), but I've learned to leave it when it's cold. I have never won the progressive, but all other combinations have been seen.

I've won every combination bar the progressive.

The Second highest pay is only 1000 x bet - I hit that after going down about $150...

I played this game for years... its one tough nut to crack. Mind you, I have hit a Progressive on Cash Splash for about $27k and that didn't take much play. Luck?

Wow, yes I remember that!
I just checked my screenshot collection and actually have 3 from that competition... all three are of mixed 7's :(

The vast majority of it was overnight, I just set it to 9999 spins on auto-play and the only stop trigger was a £250.00 win or better (i.e. the three silver sevens or the progressive).

I was trying to grind out a WR at Betway and instead just busted out!

It took me from my high point of £470 to a big fat zero and never once paid more than 80x stake in 15000 spins :(

I've had the £250.00 win once (three silver sevens) at GNUF, but that is literally the only time I've ever had a better win than the mixed sevens.

It does sometimes have little streaky patches where it drops in a good number of £10 and £20 wins in reasonably quick succession, but then again it has some dreadful dry patches too.

Doesn't feel all that random sometimes, I have to say.

I trust you made sure progressives were allowed, could be a disaster if you won and had it voided.

The T&Cs explicitly state 'all slots contribute to the wagering requirement at 100%', there are no slot exclusions listed at all, I did make sure I checked that :D

Good memory :D Probably because it used to be my favourite progressive.

Obviously I never hit it but it's a very rare slot that offers the potential of a very decent 5 figure sum with just one bet amount - a paltry 20p. 15000 spins sounds an awful lot but I'm guessing that your balance wouldn't have changed a huge amount. I'd guess about $300? Less?

The straight sevens do occur occasionally and 3 whites pay 1000x bet from memory. Had those a few times. It's a very boring game but one of those you can whack on 9999 spins in autoplay and go dosomething more interesting without risking a fortune :D

Nope, I lost £470 during those 15000 spins.

Then again, I was on a WR at an MG casino....... ;)

EDIT - It's 25p per spin (5 coins at 5p per coin) to hit the progressive, not 20p.

I generally only play this slot with my loose change after cashing out.

Like most others I've never had better than mixed 7's.

Every though its only 25c per spin it can be a really money muncher, so I rarely invest more than $20 in it. I live in hope that I will hit the progressive.

Good god it once got up to £171,154?!?!?!

And what currency unit does it show in?

I play in GBP and I see the current value in the game as 42,074.07 - does that get converted to dollars if a GBP player wins it, or is the figure I'm seeing already converted from whatever currency other players see it in?

I am pretty sure you get paid in the currency you play in. Mega Moolah was once won in SA Rand, and that player got paid in Rand, and it barely reduced the jackpot pool. I presume therefore that "worst case scenario" is built in, with MGS catering for the jackpots to be won in UK Pounds, so when won in Euros or Dollars, they pay out less, and probably find a way to restore the remainder back to the pool.

If they didn't do this, then players would have a significant advantage in choosing a low value currency and hoping to hit the jackpot and get paid in a high value currency. It's the price MGS pay for having play in different currencies qualify for one central pool. RTG casinos mostly only accept the US Dollar, and those that use the Euro or UK Pound have separate progressive pools.

Generally you get paid the jackpot in the currency you play in i.e. £40,000 or $40,000
After all if your doing 25p spins and contributing 10% to the progressive jackpot you are contributing more per spin playing in GBP than in USD so it's only right you get paid out accordingly.
