Just back from Vegas...stayed at Encore and ended up down a little over the week, but thought I'd share some screenshots of the Handpays I got, mostly from my favourite game, Spin Poker (free version

) but also a decent one from a slot ($1850 off a $5 bet) :D

Those are awesome! Did you leave any money for anyone else???:notworthy:notworthy

For someone living far far away from vegas.. Is "living" there expensive. i mean, hotels, food, drinks?
I am planning to go there some day, maybe even next year but I have no idea about the costs =))

Depends where you stay. Encore/Wynn is pricey but there are some good deals at some of the older Strip hotels like Treasure Island which is just over the way and prices in the hotels vary too.

Here's my

just to give you an idea of that particular one - contains a few prices. Check out TI, the Venetian and Rio for deals first.

Great article review of the Encore, Simmo. But me thinks you saw the strip from LAS, not LAX...unless of course you had already had quite a few good drinks on your trip over...:D

Awesome Wins by the way too...:notworthy:thumbsup:

Hiya: The answer is NO. I like the ol saying of, "When your eyes are closed, all the rooms look the same". So, the difference between staying at the Wynn, vs staying at Impereal Palace as example is quite large.

The Buffets are in every casino, and range from around $12-$19 for the above average ones. All drinks in the casino, "and i mean all of them, and all types", are FREE. Just tip the waitress......

I always tell people who are going to visit here, to do the majority of their gambling, on the last 2 days of their vacation, and not on the first day. Why? Because walking around in the middle of the desert BROKE, just plain sucks. So, see the sights, take pictures, buy stuff, then go gamble....

Good going Simmo (informative review on the hotel also)

Great wins - but you say you were still a little down on the week - what else were you up to?!!

Oops - thanks Rob...fixed ;)

Haha - not a lot - gambling, eating and having fun. But saved my arse with those shots.

Super Jackpot Party is the way forward! haha

There are some awesome games that really need to come online. Obviously Spin Poker is one, but as for slots, the Star Trek slot is amazing with built in seats that vibrate and speakers behind your head, infinite free spins. Fantastic game. Wizard of Oz 3D slot was excellent too. And Zeus II with it's Super Respin feature - bring that online someone - wow!

Show off!! :D Where is the shot of the Wizard Of Oz win that I myself predicted for you  Great shots and so glad you had a nice time in Vegas! Venetian was nice and they are giving good deals I think but as Simmo says the older places are really giving nice deals. Harrah's is one of them as well.

Congratulations Simmo

 LOL Holy cow that puts all my Vegas stories to shame!!!

#2 on the list of valid reasons to get an annulment in NV:

a marriage that lacked consent (such as intoxication, insanity, underage), or

It's pretty bad that they even had to list that as a reason...

honorable mention:

After the marriage one of the individuals learned that the other had been declared an insane individual. The party was unaware of this fact prior to the marriage;
