"Transparency", is all we are asking for

This was regarding a poll Simmo started in December of 2009, Simmo's thread to vote on Transparency in published expect returns (by game).
It has been filed in the back of my mind and keeps popping up sometimes, wondering if it has been forgotten.

Not totally forgotten. I did actually talk to some people about this in London and Amsterdam from the casino side to get some feedback. A mixed response, but most I spoke to thought it would be an OK thing to do. One RTG on the accredited list said they would be happy to publish the RTP as long as RTG didn't raise a complaint. I will remind them.

The main issue is that to get it in the games themselves it has to come from the software provider and this can be a slow process - even to get them to listen and treat it seriously. As Bryan says, he has mentioned it to MG already. Be nice to get RTG onboard but am sceptical - but if one casino does it maybe it will spread. But that wouldnt stop operators publishing RTP on the websites I'm sure.

It amazes me more don't do this as most online RTP's leave land-based in the shade. It's done Wagerworks no harm.

Remind me - Rival publish RTP's aswell as Wagerworks right?
 
Rival do but since so much of the RTP is wrapped up in bonus rounds and the scatter symbols that trigger these rounds behave like they are on coke/marijuana respectively they mean little but at least they are there.

That is why it would be useful to know the %RTP made up by bonus rounds.
 
Mavin do not think along the lines as if you're in the UK or Canada. You will never get your money's worth bc numero uno you're in the USA.

Our RTP is much lower or better yet return to me as someone else so eloquently put it is much lower.

I just can't stand it any longer and as of this morning I can't play any casino. I told QT I lost my debit card and to please remove it. They won't close your account so you have to resort to this kinda crap and I also told netspend I lost that card to. I now have no way to deposit and I'm glad.

If I was getting the kinda games and play that VWM, Pina, KK and the others that live overseas or across the border get I would gladly play and pay.

We have a wider choice, and casino operators know this. P1$$ us off, and we can move our action to almost any casino on the net, but US players are locked out of so many of the good casinos, such as MGS, Cryptologic, Playtech (although not so good;) ), and have to settle for those prepared to be "shady" enough to flout the spirit of UIGEA and continue serving US players.

Added to this, the risk is higher for operators serving the US market, so some are looking to wind down their operations there, and are going for short term gains whilst they can, because long term they are expecting to have to scale back, or even pull out, if they lose too much money from dodgy processors, seizures, etc.

Seriously, is this what casinos or software providers really want the US market to think or do, or any geographic market for that matter?

I really wish that Software Providers would address some issue on the forum once in awhile. They really need to come down to earth and talk to the little people occasionally.

Or if software providers are to high and mighty to talk to the people that support their services, then why couldn't they at least submit surveys to forums for the players to be allowed to give some feedback?

Do you remember when Bryan had that meeting with MCG and they said it wasn't worth the risk to give us new games, progressives or anything else. I was thinking all along I need to wean myself away and I finally did.

I like PP a lot so I excluded myself for a year and now fortune Lounge is sending me emails for 7 Sultans. I have an account at all the Fortune Lounge casinos. They know they can't send PP so they're trying to get me to deposit at one of their sister casinos.

That's tacky and low.
