Tournaments now for the high rollers

writeon

nice geetar...
I just saw a tournament..simply highest deposits/wagering..on a casino to win car/cash..this seems to be the new policy by many casinos and it is discriminating against the not so well off clients..jeez the last tournament the winner had something like a million points which must have cost a fortune and they possibly deposited even more than the £5000 Ist prize. There used to be a fair playing field but it seems that nowadays the rich are always going to win so no point in entering if you don't have a lot of funds.

Some promotions are for high rollers, some for low rollers, that shouldn't be a surprise. For example, any promotion involving "free spins" or a low maximum deposit bonus is pretty much worthless for high rollers. And like you said, whoever "won" the promotion may not even have come out ahead in the end - let alone people who spent money to try to win and fail. It's not surprising that a casino would try to cater to high rollers sometimes, since a small number of "whales" can contribute a significant amount to a casinos overall profitability.

If you feel left out of a promotion, perhaps you could send a message to the casino that you feel it doesn't offer anything to encourage smaller depositors and low rollers to play. Maybe they'll listen and expand the lower payouts so more people will participate. Maybe they won't. Doesn't hurt to ask.

"Tournaments" by their nature are usually going to be more high roller focused, often paying a large share of the total prize to the top 3 finishers - though there may be some exceptions that try to have a long tail of prizes for the low rollers. But remember, any promotion that hits the whole playerbase will be expensive and is probably going to mean less valuable promotions elsewhere - most likely worse deposit bonuses. So different casinos end up offering different types of promotions, and there's probably another casino out there if you feel one isn't catering to what you want and is unwilling to change.

Casumo seem to have drastically increased the min stake for the reel races today, a lot were £1 from previously being 30-40p, makes a big difference when you are playing 500 or so spins!

Yepp, bigger swings. I like the races where you can play for 0,20-0,40. 1€ can get to expensive if you run cold (for me anyways).

Heya guys,

The reel race prices has always been a little bit swaying if you mind me saying it like that.
We have races going on 24/7 and they are usually all different. For example we have one tomorrow at 20:00 CET that is 0.5 per spin and the win is 2k €/£ and another at 22:00 CET for 0.4 per spin with the same prize amount. At the same time we also have one that pays 20£/€ that has a stake of 0.8 per spin. This all differs between game, price and time of day.

And if you feel like those other casinos have bad tournaments that only applies for high rollers, we have our Maldives Live Casino Raffles. Where we actually have a maximum of tickets you can receive. And it's not based on deposits, it's based on wagering.
"To take part, play for €50 on any exclusive Casumo Live Casino game to receive a ticket for the weekly draw (max. 3 tickets/day) plus a ticket for the grand prize draw (max. 1 ticket/day). For example, if you wager €100 you get 2 tickets for the weekly draw and 1 for the grand prize draw."

We also have must drop jackpots, Big giveaways, Blackjack Bonus cards and random instant cash giveaways.

You can read about it under the "Promotions" tab on the welcome screen after logging in or by scrolling down the page while logged off.

Me and @CasumoAndy can fill you in on any details you might have, just send us a private message or ask away in this thread (if it's about the thread topic ofc ;) )

Ciao-a-bunga!

Thanks for replying. I have never seen £1 min stake reel races before this last week, and play in quite a few 7/9pm ones. Even the £5k ones tended to be 40-50p.
