It's possible they have gone under, in which case you are only wasting money setting any lawyers onto them.

I came across them long ago via GoneGambling, long before Bryan took over. A pair of very basic browser based casinos came along. I joined purely because GoneGambling was promoting them. They were both pretty crap, so I didn't play past my first deposit. They were both listed as "Futurebet", and I found that Bryan had rogued the entire software. I warned John at GG about this, and also started asking the casinos about their software. It seemed that one was a bit evasive, but I understood that they had worked with Futurebet, but were not part of the "dirty" side of the business, having bought out the software. The other swore that GG had got the listing wrong, and their software was Total E-Soft, and had nothing to do with Futurebet (apart from being just as crap an experience). Even odder still was the fact that their "casino lobby" product had links to Intercasino, being linked to from the Intercasino website. I thought it was a fake casino until it appeared as an option at GoneGambling.

I lost my first deposit and went away. I later got an email telling me that I had a balance of around 140 in my account, and that I should come back to play it. Later, an email told me they had closed down in order to make improvements, and that they would be back and better. I never heard from them again.

Someone asked about them back in 2010, the other thread you found, and now in 2013 it seems they are finally putting together a better product, only to then rip off their contractor half way through the project and become unresponsive, with the ominous sign that the entire portfolio is inoperative.

If it has taken 6 years to bring forth this half finished improvement, they don't stand a chance in this industry. Even Slotland has outpaced them in terms of bringing their offering out of the HTML age and into the modern browser based Flash casino age.

I am pretty sure that the software is rigged. I did play at 2 casinos owned by total e soft, some time ago and it seemed like something wasnt quite right.
I totally understand that this is just my own assumption, but when you play online for 10 years like me you can very often see when everything is not right, so im only telling you how it felt to me.
I woudlnt dare to claim microgaming or rtg or net ent casinos rigged, i know playing online can be streaky, but on total e soft casinos winning seemed impossible.

Guys thanks so much for your replies it has made me feel a bit better about things. To cut a long and stressful story short,I asked them to develop a white label casino as they do.We had a contract drawn up and they haven't Completly got the website as we agreed. Now when I try to ask them how long until the site is fully functioning properly,I get no response for a few weeks. This has been going on for months now.Even if they were to finish the site as we agreed,I couldn't continue working with them.I don't not trust them whatsoever. It is strange that the guy(Jonathan)was replying to my e mails within minutes, until he got his money off me.I must admit that I know little of the gambling industry and I should have thiught something was dodgy, judging by their prices compared to other white label casinos.Maybe I was a little naive.Anyway what would you guys suggest I should do ,this guy just seems Completly incompetent and all their previous casinos seem to be closed. All seems a little but dodgy to me.Im tempted to get the authorities involved I feel like I've been Completly ripped off.

Textbook sign of a con artist. They are CHOOSING to ignore your emails now they have the money, but of course will give you the best service possible beforehand in order to make you feel comfortable handing it over.

Can also be a sign of a company about to fail. They need funds to survive, but can't actually afford to complete the work, so their priority is to give their best efforts to those customers who have agreed a contract, but have yet to hand over the money.

They have your money, so anything further they do for you just costs them money, with no prospect of getting any more out of you.

Haha... I really like their FAQ

Is there a financial risk to me?
Once you've paid your fee for your particular casino option, you won't have to pay out a single cent more to us. We charge NO hosting fees, NO monthly or annual fees, or any other fees whatsoever! All your winning players are paid by us, along with any affiliates you may have!
We expect that you will make money from the venture but just like in regular gambling games, sometimes players win (sad but true!). Note, you will never owe us anything, we'll never ask you for cash for payment deficits.

What would you guys suggest I do next?Solicitor, police? He has crated a basic site, but no where near as good as anything written in the contract.Any advice would be welcome
Cheers

Vinylweatherman might be able to help if he's kept his bar registration up :D

You should accept some responsibility jamie for not doing your research. A quick visit to some gambling sites like this asking players about the software would have given you ample reason to stay away from these crooks.

You should get professional legal advice.

It would have to be a solicitor. The police would only act if it was clearly a crime.

Breach of contract is not necessarily a crime, only a civil court case could reveal enough information that might make the police interested.

Total E-Soft are not even based in the UK, so it would need legal action in their home country. Consumer protection laws would not apply here, as this is business to business.

I met the guy (Jonathan) before I went ahead. He said they were based in Wrexham ,and I have found their address on the net.Do you think this could just be a front?

Retain a solicitor.

Do not take legal advice from the forum as it is armchair lawyer opinions only.

You have been had. Don't post anything more about your case until you confer with Counsel.

The only exception would be to PM Bryan and keep him abreast of the situation, as dodgy software providers and operators need to be expunged from this Industry.

I'm really sorry you've been fleeced. I hope you learn from the misjudgments you have made.

Total E Soft Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Its registered office is in Wrexham in a residential cul-de-sac, probably the house of the owner or one of the owners of the company.
Total E Soft could be sued in the English and Welsh courts, the question is whether it would do you any good. The company may not have sufficient assets to pay you, or if it refuses to pay, you may spend more time and money pursuing it than it is worth. Accorsing to Companies House, Total E Soft failed file its accounts due on 31 March, which is never a good sign.

Merely a "front", like the pizza shop found at the original address Pamper casino was giving out for themselves.

If the owner lives there, action could be taken, but it is more likely they have made a forwarding arrangement with whoever lives there. Using a residential address, rather than a maildrop service, is rather suspicious. If they were carrying out much in the way of business activities there, the council would have something to say about it.

If in dispute, it may well be worth contacting the local council covering that area to ask them if they, or their local trading standards, are aware that business is being conducted from a residential address, and said business is ripping off clients.

It may have been better to have found this out before contracting them to produce the website, as it would have rung alarm bells before any money was sent to them. Failure to file accounts is even more serious, and indicates something bad is happening to the company, often a precursor to it going bust.

I have just been made aware of this thread on the site. I don't know exactly who Jamie is but I would be happy to talk directly to him to find out exactly what his grievance is.

As you know on this forum, we have been operating for many years now and have worked very hard to make our offerings as good as they possibly can - including making a huge investment in the software, and working with other providers to produce a much improved product. We work closely with our clients throughout the design process to ensure that what they have at the end is what they want - so whatever design has been made, would have been with the client's specific approval.

Unfortunately, on this forum it seems that any person can say anything they like about a bad experience with a company even if it is unsubstantiated, or from a competitor in some cases, and other people will jump directly on it, with calls for legal action without any knowledge of the situation or before the company it affects has chance to reply.

The last time this happened 3 years ago, I said that I would be happy to address any complaint directly. That is still true. Whatever you think about our company or software, I personally have addressed any issue that has been raised.

I would be happy to sort out whatever issue Jamie has over his site directly with him. Please email me your details and I will sort it out for you.

In the past 6 years, we've only seen a couple of negative threads about us, and I hope you will agree we worked them out. As soon as I know who the person is and what the actual problem is, I can sort it out.

I'm even happy for one of the mods on this forum to act as mediator, so that they can come back to the people looking at this thread with a fair report on the outcome, but it needs to be worked out professionally without the lynch-mob mentality. I hope you'll agree that's fair.

The trigger is obvious, as soon as the money is handed over, responses within minutes suddenly become "talk to the hand".

Of course the OP would have liked this to have been dealt with privately, but after being ignored for weeks he thinks the worst, so asks for public help.

Well, clearly it worked, as this has got you responding again.

There have been very few complaints, but almost no plaudits either. A successful company would have many positive posts from players who have played a Total E-Soft casino, yet there seem to be none. It does look like a company that has been off the radar for some while, and then we hear from a client about a total lack of communication once the money has been handed over.

Fortunately, it has not taken legal action to wake Total E-Soft up and start communicating again. Hopefully, we will hear that this problem has been resolved in a week or two.

With considerable investment having taken place, presumably the software is no longer "crap" from the players' perspective.

Yes, we discuss your software and the major industry icons that use it all the time here at CM.

I personally remember being in the following threads talking about how awesome total esoft is
:

Yes. It's called a "forum". It is a place where members can express their personal opinions and debate the opinions of others. CM doesn't "muzzle" members just because they take a certain POV. Some people do automatically believe everything a complainant posts....I agree...but that's their right, and the facts as stated here by Jamie are pretty simple to verify i.e. that your company has pretty much ignored him from the moment he handed over his cash, after being showered with attention beforehand.

If you don't want people to call for your company's "head", then start running it properly.

Lynch mob mentality? I've seen that happen here on occasion, but I don't see it in this thread. Seems you consider a few people expressing their sympathy for the OP and giving him some advice to be a "lynch mob". No wonder Jamie is having issues

The reason you haven't seen many negative threads...in fact, pretty much NO threads of ANY kind...is probably because your software and games are awful and look like something programmed on a Commodore64, and hence you have a very small player base consisting of mostly newbs and others who don't know any better. If it were not like this, there would be frequent discussions about your games and screenshots etc, like there is with all decent software providers and operators. The fact that basically nobody at CM uses your casinos speaks volumes.

It's nothing personal. It's just my opinion based on checking out your games and things I've heard in the past, here and elsewhere.

Can you please answer the allegations made earlier in this thread about problems with your financial reports here:

Accorsing to Companies House, Total E Soft failed file its accounts due on 31 March, which is never a good sign

When you couple this with what Jamie tells us, can you blame people from thinking the worst? Add to that the residential address for your "office".

I also notice ALL your licensees are in Costa Rica.

gee, makes you wonder how they come up with these "clever" words, doesn't it ?
Give us a day or two, to try and remember where we have heard/read that before.

I assume you're referring to my own use of that term weeks ago...?? In a different thread on a different topic??

If so, I don't know what your point is......in fact, even if its not, I still don't see what point you're making. Care to elaborate? Or was it just meant to be a juvenile attempt at insulting someone whilst adding nothing whatsoever to the discussion?

Totalesoft accused members here of a "lynchmob mentality" in this thread, which I felt was inaccurate. I have, however, seen it in other threads.

That's a good catch Nifty.
I don't want to derail this thread too much, but the fact that this guy chose to use those exact words, is what I was talking about in the "other thread", among others.
You use that quite frequently, about other members, who do not agree, when you go on a "protect the rogue" rampage, just like you did in that other thread.
It seems like someone found the wording useful....and saying that you "used it weeks ago, in another thread" is not the point. I have never seen anyone, (but you numerous times, and many times about members, who made very good points), use it, until now.

If you could point to a few examples where someone else used it, that would be helpful. My point is, that calling other members, who are clearly calling rogue behavior from a casino, names like that, does NOT help anyone, but the rogue casinos.

If you wish to discuss any further, maybe we should take it in pm, to avoid any further derail of this thread.

The only reason I used those words was because in the early part of the thread, before anyone actually knew both sides of the issue, we were called "crooks", the person had been "fleeced", we were "ripping off clients", our sites were all out of business (not true) and we were something to do with Futurebet (don't know where that came from).

I don't think all that's particularly fair without knowing about the situation. I still don't know who Jamie is, as he hasn't contacted me. I've PM'ed him so hopefully he will get back to me.

I've offered to go over this with a mod acting as mediator, and for them to report back to the thread. I'm doing everything I can to address a problem none of us know the details of yet. If this is what happens when I offer to try to sort out the situation, then what chance do I have?

My offer is still open. I'm not going to get into a long and drawn out thread because all it does is make things worse.

Yes, we don't have plaudits on CM, our accounts are a couple of weeks late but being finished off by accountants, but that doesn't make us crooks or bad people.

At least give me the opportunity to solve this issue.

No, there's no need to take it to PM, as its just purely personal "I don't like you" crap that has nothing to do with any issue.

The only thing worth clarifying is that a "lynch mob" in a forum context AFAIC is when a group of people immediately take one side (almost exclusively the players) and ignore some, or in the recent case, all of the carelessness, irresponsibility and even ignorance on that persons part. I also call it a "lynch mob" because its nearly always comprised of the same core of members. Its not a personal insult, its just a descriptive turn of phrase to describe those who shout "rogue" etc continually without considering all aspects of the case. Feel free, however, to PM me the numerous links to where I "frequently" talk about lynch mobs.

As it happens, I actually agreed with everything, bar that the player should bear no responsibility and face no consequences of their actions or inactions. Its not unreasonable, however, because its really about me personally and the way I view things, I am made out to be a "rogue defender". LOL. Hilarious. The proof that it IS personal crap and not about the issue is your post in this thread that prompted this discussion. So, don't bother with the "lets not derail" when that was your initial intention.

Sorry folks....back to Jamie and his issues as we were.

@totalesoft

Have to say I agree with Nifty on your strange insistence that one of your clients contacts you to sort out a communications problem which you have yourself apparently created.

That's hardly a proactive business approach imo - I would have thought that if Jamie really is a white label client of yours you would know who he was and immediately set about contacting him and satisfying his requirements from you as a contractor who has apparently been appointed to set him up with a casino. Surely you do not have so many white label customers that you can't zero in on who Jamie is?

I am also intrigued by the fact that, as Grandmaster pointed out, your Wrexham, UK offices appear to be a residential premises - what's that all about?

I don't see a "lynch mob" mentality in this thread at all - simply a desperate TotaleSoft client who is trying to ensure that you meet the requirements allegedly set out in your contract with him, and forum members who are trying to advise him on the best way forward.
