This is Hockey, which is a sport that is popular with young girls in the UK, played with no protection and a hard ball:

Your version played with pads, helmets, mouth and face guards etc by Canadian women men.

Also, I don't mean to be picky, but we play Football. Soccer is an 'Americanism', which is a name used to describe stealing stuff that you don't own and claiming it as your own.

Joking aside, love watching Ice Hockey but don't watch it enough. Played a couple of times as a kid in the UK. Go Maple Leafs!

That Ovechkin is pretty special eh? (About the only player I can actually recognise).

Darts is big over here and my cousin and Uncle love it. They have the dart board in the garage and are in pub teams. I am no good at chucking arrows and don't really watch it though the events look good fun, so have not heard the song you mean I am afraid.

I would take a game of hockey over darts any day, even UK-style hockey (was forced to play at school, not in a skirt thank god).

There are no tougher athletes than hockey players. A Winnipeg player in this years playoffs got his face cut by a skate and required 75 stitches. He returned to play later in the game. That is tough my friends
