Its not like i was trying to send a message or anything.
A joke is all it was, no hidden meaning or anything.

I get that it can be a touchy subject to joke about, but if you think my intention with the post was to be racist, you have misunderstood the post.

I get it, it was satire and a bit of a jab at actual casual racism.

Then again, I have an actual sense of humour.

How on earth did we manage to pull through 15 years ago when little Britain was all the rage. Can you imagine the response to that show now from some quarters

Exactly.
Like you say, it was about making fun of those that think those stereotypes are true for all black people.
And i tried to make that clear, as to avoid this very situation.

I knew I'd wake to a shitstorm.
FTR I gave Kroffe a pass because I believe his post had no malice and that he intended to come at it from the other side of racism (ironic)
I also had pmed him to let it go as it was also a racially-charged post and that it, rightly, or wrongly, would be seen as racist.

I'm not going to sit here and debate all the merits or lack thereof. People find it racist. End of.

FWIW I get the sarcasm/irony/tongue-in-cheek and all that but that sort of thing is going to offend/enrage/set-off as many folks as not. General Rule of Thumb applicable here: just don't. Sure, that sucks, and that's just the way it is. Original post "snipped" accordingly.
