tired of CPU 100% ?

It's not a case of just linking the correct process. The games need to be designed or converted to utilize the GPU, which they currently do not.

Your GPU does nothing.

That was sad to hear.
I've only 2GB memory in this and planned to put in more this weekend, just to be able to play those games.

Then it won't help much I suppose :(

Something is messed up with that configuration, here's some advice:

I definatelty would update NVidia drivers first, which you probably have done already. If not, try that!

@Tirilej:

Jurassic Park runs well on my PC with 3 GB RAM and a CPU which do not reach their requirements. The graphics card do however meet their requirements. I can play both download and flash versions. :)

The problem with most budget laptops and pcs is that the hard drive is usually of very low quality and very slow, more than likley running at 5400rpm. Todays games,applications and casinos utilise all aspects of a machine. The ram, the HD, the gpu and the cpu. You could have a machine with a top end graphics card, top end ram and top end cpu but this matters not if your hard drive is too slow to keep up with them and the hard drive is one thing most people dont even consider when looking at the specs of any machine be it a laptop or desktop.

Case in point would be your machine running a i5-4200 and 8gb memory. Over kill for casino games. I would wager pound to a penny that although you have an i5 and a good amount of ram, it is likley that your hard drive is the component letting it all down. Unless you buy a gaming laptop, the hard drives are usually always poor.

Thanks for your replies.

I have looked into disabling Intel graphics altogether, but it seems that's not possible.
You can specify programs/folders/processes to use the GeForce graphics (

)
But of course they would have to be written to use the GPU.
As some of you have pointed out, MG only uses CPU (?).

These are my stats

Win 8.1
Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6GHz (turbo up to 2.6GHz)
8GB Memory
GeForce GT 750M 4GB Dedicated VRAM
15.6 FHD IPS screen
128GB SSD (Crucial m4)

Power plan is set to High Performance, so nothing should be holding back

I am looking into re-installing everything from scratch, as it's been a while.
Only the new games are effected.
I did see some improvement installing latest drivers.
Also, closing about fifty internet tabs, seemed to help :oops:
Still it's not as smooth as I would like.
If MG could only use my GPU I'm sure the CPU could freed up for other tasks, and the graphics would be better.

Thanks!

Freddy
