Have a perusal of some new games, some dreadful a couple quite good:

Rocket Fellas Inc, Pirates Plenty, Monkey Business Deluxe, Valkyrie and The Great Reveal

Thanks for the vid. TK and RTG look like they could be quite alright, although that 6th reel unlock thing on RTG is really weird imo.

Is the RTP stated in a range at all to reflect it increasing upon getting the 6th reel? Surely they couldnt simply put the RTP of 6th reel unlocked only, unless they compensate for it being locked with and extra scatter on the reels or something. Calling @trancemonkey!

On the last one, it was the first time I really felt the same pain you mustve felt (normally Im more like "stop skipping!"), something about it that just made me die inside. Part of it was definitely the bloody music though, just droning on and on on the sax.

It's funny you should mention that...…

Elementary! Really that seemed very easy to notice, think I might prefer the locked version, depending on how much better the unlocked FS will be. One thing though, is that they couldve just made this obvious and let us choose either, if you're gonna be obvious about it you might as well make it legit.

That's hilarious - an accumulator that makes the game pay worse.
@trancemonkey - we know that accumulators TRTP isn't reflective of realworld use due to the testing only recording one big long continuous session vs in real world where you've got millions of people leaving uncompleted accumulators. Would it be legal to have different RTP's for the locked and unlocked version of this game? Eg. the game plays 115% to hook the player initially until the 6th reel is unlocked and then reverts to 95%?

I would imagine they have exactly the same RTP for both variants of the game.

No i don't believe it would be legal... it would also likely be frowned upon by casinos whose RTP monitoring would throw up this game because not everyone who ever plays it will stick with it to open the 6th reel.

As i mentioned, I would guess that both parts of the game have the same RTP. It's clear they would have to change the maths when going from 5 to 6 reels... but Christ knows why they would do it so the 6 reel version feels quite so significantly worse.

Yes, it didn't take many spins to realize the unlocked 'Treasure Reel' makes the game play very differently and I did state that I don't believe the RTP is affected, it's just the game structure as you've effectively opened up a feature and it is usual to have different reel maps in features on many slots. You basically see the Wild Monkey more often and with the 6 reels this produces better average wins as will the free games with more card values available which turn wild. So the trade-off is less free games bonuses.

The free games are quite good on this and rarely would you see less than 40x which will also explain their rarity.

Monkey business old game from bookies was around online for a while you need 4 or 5 guys for better payouts.

Yes, I said in the video it was at least 15 years old in the arcades. I can't recall seeing it online like the old Astra ones (taken over by Greentube, games like Reel King) or Bastardcrest's Rainbow Riches series, now provided by SG. I think the 'deluxe' suffix comes from adding an expanding Wild to increase the RTP from arcade 90-92% to the online's 96+%

If I had time I'd definitely see if it's a higher RTP on the initial spin before the accumulator gimps the game with the 6th reel.
Unfortunately I don't have the time and I'm geo-banned from these games anyway.

On the subject of the other games, the Thunderkick one Rocket Fellas Inc is quite good having had another lengthy bash at it. The Elk one isn't bad, the Red Tiger one (despite the obvious gimpery!) is possibly the best. The Playtech one is utterly terrible and Monkey Business Deluxe just as boring as the arcade slot it emulates.

the added wild was on the updated version, this was one from the club games back in the day , a few in the old arcades as you said, wasnt that bad to be fair, along with older models little devil & the other novo slots, you may remember a old pacman slot as well these could do ÂŁ500 jackpots with a close set of three jackpots.

100x deposit on valkyrie lasted 3min just crazy how fast this slot spins and dead spins not even a single chance at feature.

Rocket Fellas Inc is a nice little slot, once you can get the sticky wilds going in free spins there's some decent potential in there, and it does it over multiple spins which I liked too.

I had a decent session on it last week and managed 425x stake in a free spins round.

I find the audio/visual aesthetic of Thunderkick's games quite appealing too.
