Hi all! To start off with I think this site is a real gem.
I'm new to this sort of game and parting with my savings into the world of numbers thrown on a dice is scary to say the least. But if I can pull more winners than losers then I'm sure it can be fun. I'm still at this moment trying to decide whether to make my first shot at it.
So far I've played only with toy money:lolup: and the system I'm using seems to work ....er...... bloody well. One of the reasons I haven't played with real money til now is because the country I'm living in (Thailand) gambling is illegal. Not that I'm too much worried about getting caught as it would only be a fine:). Another reason why I have not chosen to use real cash and I'm worried if I'm successful then I wouldn't be a good customer to the casinos. I think they prefer losers more than winners Anyway, if I'm a good winner maybe they would look for loopholes to avoid paying out my winnings if I were to use their sites inside countries where gambling is illegal.
So, I'm really interested in other winners or losers views on this. I'm also particularly interested in stories were customers have been banned from sites for the sole reason that they are winners:D (I don't think losers get banned do they?).
Excuse the bla bla bla but before I make the plunge I would like to do as much ground work as possible and not walk into this blind folded and cursing myself afterward that I was too impatient.

To finish off I with where I started; I'd like to thank you peeps for building this site, it has already been very helpful and going to finish off now as I want to explore it some more before I hit the sack.

Ps. excuse my bad English, I'm British. Vogelpfeife.

Welcome to CM.

It is a very wonderful site filled with tons of info for online gamblers who play for fun or for real money.

Welcome to CM Vogel.

If you are in a country where online gambling is illegal, you will find many casinos won't accept your action. You need to be sure what means you can deposit by and what means you can withdraw by.

Systems don't work long term. Period. You can be lucky for a session, many sessions even. But the house has a built-in edge that guarantees it long terms profits.

Some casinos do ban winners, but most don't. It is however common to be banned from future promotions and bonuses. There are lots of casinos out there if this happens to you.

Start with CMs accredited list to find places to play that will pay you if you do win. There are some pretty shady operators out there, many are listed on the Rogue List here.

It is very very important to always read the Terms and Conditions, especially if you accept a bonus to play with. If you have questions, ask support before you play, and get their responses in writing (live chat or by email).

Great stuff! Solid feed back kinda direct info. I'm looking for. My bank accounts are based in the UK on that side all is 99% safe
Another question: How safe are my card details with casinos. I was thinking about opening another account to use for the casinos and transfer funds into a safer unknown account.
What do you think?

First, Jasminebed has given you FANTASTIC advice - please head it.
In particular, NO "system" can beat the house edge (unless generous bonuses are involved).

I don't know about your country, but here in the UK if someone did manage to get hold of my Credit Card details & use it fraudulently, they would return the money to my account - I would not lose out. I have NEVER had a problem at a reputable casino in over 11 years.

Also, I don't know if you can use Neteller or Skrill...?
If you can, they would be a much better way of keeping your gambling funds ring-fenced. They are also usually much better and quicker options for depositing & withdrawing with casinos.

Each country has different laws and different casino terms may apply, so it's unlikely that anyone here can give you 100% definite answers - I think you're going to have to do your own thorough research before you take the plunge with real money.

Good luck & Welcome to the forum!

Thanks a million! I will look into these options Skrill and Neteller. In Cambodia it's legal, Burma too. So, it looks like I'm in for a few holidays this year, would of liked to have done it from the comfort of my home though.

So gambling is illegal in Thailand, all of it? But you can play online right? Cause not that many Casinos I know of who list Thailand as a restricted region. But then again only a few too who offer their customers the option to play in the Thai language or with the Thai currency..
Anyhow welcome! :)
And yeah systems are BS, believe it.

Welcome to CM :)

Pretty sure a number of the accredited casinos accept Thai residents although I remember when our friend Spearmaster was around he said there were some game restrictions in place at one point. But if the accredited casinos accept you, then at least they will be happy to pay you when you win - as long as processing isn't an issue.

Welcome to Casinomeister, Vogelpfeife! As you can see from the above posts, there are lots of people that can answer your questions and by searching the site you can gain just about all the knowledge you need to play on line and have fun! :)

oh.. you poor thing!

That must totally sux, gambling being illegal in your country:mad: Oh well, at least you can play online:p Welcome to CM. Your've love it!;)

This thread reminds me of Ted aka Spearmaster who would have given many useful tips as he was primarily based in Thailand over the last decade or so. He still knew much about the industry so he must have known a few tricks and could regularly play at casinos using Playtech and MG software.

Thanks for the reply.
Like I said I'm sorting all the ground work out and trying get my brain washed so it doesn't run away from me.
I have also read several articles and find them very informative. One the article that I thought was particular interesting was the one about quitting gambling. This is a must for all. Reading it helped me to refocus with a new power.

Do you still have contact with Ted.
Ooops! Just read he passed away in 2002.

Thanks very much and yes, I'm enjoying a lot. The site has already helped me to prepare myself for this decision, which for me is a big decision. Thanks again for your support.

Hi Thanks for the info, very useful.
I joined NETELLER and tried to get my bank to pay 112 UK sterling in to it. My bank refused and so I tried again and again without success but I was charged 1.75% by NETELLER anyway. Maybe you could enlighten me on what's what?

I was able to get the two days ago to pay into a casino though.
