This might be a way to strike back...

Use your own judgement. That's all I can say. I had no choice at that time because the casino said that is NOT their problem and there is nothing they can do. The credit processor said there are no double charge on their computer (but it did happen on my credit card computer???). So they finally tell me to do charge back. I plaed at a lot of online casino and loose a lot money at beginning, but I paid and never even think about charge back until this.

If you won , but they didn't pay and the business is no long exist. Then there is nothing wrong to get your deposit back at least. Everyone has his own opinion on their choice. hhcfreebie has a very good point of view here. You have your suitation that involved more than normal. You just want your money back as I read your post. The only problem on charge back on casino is some players use this as a way not paying their lost.

In fact, credit card company didn't always stand behind the card owner, believe me. I deal with 2 credit card and 1 bank card with the issue for more than 8 months. It's not a fun thing but I got to save myself from the scam!

Good luck!

any news yet???

I am still waiting with my fingers crossed...does anyone have any news about islandjoes, or player center. My window is closing soon for the chargeback to be allowed. I don't want to give these sob's one red cent, and I want to get the word out about playercenter.com...if anyone has any updates I would like to hear about it....thanks :drink:

As you know, I've been in touch with the software provider. The casino has been shut down; they are no longer a licensee of IGC. IGC has told me that all players will be paid, but as Jetset can attest, it's a slow painful process.

The decision is yours. Charge back and you won't see your winnings, or hang in there and cross your fingers hoping I can get these guys to stand up to the plate and take care of their jilted players.

What sort of time frame are we looking at?

Yeah, this one really is a crapshoot. The last guy we tried to help with these IGS people took six months to get paid half what he was owed in a agreed settlement and by instalments.

This was from Bryan's news pages two weeks ago:

Island Joes Casino.com seemed to be out of commission this week, and their support is giving bogus excuses for growing slow payment problems such as "the owner was having some personal problems". When we checked the url went to a blank site bearing only the name of this small operation, which is powered by the Argentinian Futurebet lookalike company Interactive Gaming Systems. The same folks that brought us the teenaged operator of the now defunct Play4treasure.com. We asked this casino for comment on this caution, but as at going to press the only answer we could get to our questions was that the site was undergoing "a reconstruction"

sorry guy's

I was having a few "tall frosty cold ones" last night and was feeling a little sorry for myself. I don't mean to sound like a crybaby here, but this is my first win at any online casino. I usually just play for a few hours when it isn't possible to hit the "real" casinos. I have gambled long enough to expect a certian level of service. I.E. when I go to Atlantic city, Vegas or to the Camens I only pay for my table play. Everything else is "taken care of". After years of this level of service it is a really hard pill to swallow, with the whole islandjoes thing. I am grateful for the response from the meister. To answer your question sir, I have about 2 & 1/2 weeks left before my bank will refuse to do a chargeback. I have called them several times to see if I am able to do this and they have assured me that there will be no problems. If in the past you have been able to secure payment for players in this similar situation, then I will wait. However if it starts to look like they aren't going to payout please let me know so I can get my deposit back. Thanks again all for the advice and lively forum. :what:
