This is the end for me.

I'm really sorry to hear about your bad turn of events. I hope everything turns out alright with you and your family.

Seriously...what a fucking shit year =(

Now i have to get used to my mom having cancer. I was hoping for some positive test results today.

But offcourse not....

Think i am in shock mode.

It´s not a death sentence by any means. Most of the people get well again i know...but its still frightening.

But its just that damn word - cancer - its so evil. Its so much to process.

She is a strong woman, and i will do everything i can to help, and i WILL stay strong myself.

Re_Spin, any updates?

I have followed this thread. I am personally moved by your story and many others in this part of the forum. I hope you have been successful in your battle. Were the casinos diligent in honoring requests for self exclusion?

My thoughts along with those of many others are with you.

Have read through this thread and hope things have turned out well....at least to a large extent if not fully.....

Well as i wrote i did continue playing. In a much healthier way! But my focus is still on my sick mother. Hard times, especially now during x-mas times.

I have been winning kinda much since i started again, and i have been able to help my parents out a great deal, which for me is important.

Thanks for asking =)

Just found this forum and read this sad story. But admitting you have a problem is the first step. Many have gone your way so you are never alone. Sometimes people need to hit rock bottom in order to bounce back and there are many many people who came back even stronger. That does not mean you should borrow more money and gamble. It just means you will find a way back to financial health if you stay positive.

Take care, there is always a way out of a hole..

No, stopping was more important. You didn't. Winning is a temporary phenomenon. You haven't won anything, you've had a casino's loan to pay for your next losing session. This post (sorry to sound harsh) is almost self-delusional and shows psychologically you still remain a problem gambler. Sorry.
