I, like many players, have requested a comp for poor, short sessions, and sometimes I'm granted one, and other times, not. But it's a decision based on the casino's goodwill, our history etc. I certainly don't expect my deposit returned.

Everyone gets frustrated, and sometimes a bit snippy...though there's no reason to ever go in intending to be anything other than polite and respectful.

I'd simply close his account. Some players just aren't worth maintaining and well within the casino's discretion. A principle I strongly believe in, is that the customer IS NOT always right, regardless of whether I'm the purveyor OR customer. You can only bend so far, and some are willing to bend right backwards. But there's a limit how far anyone should stretch.
(and hell, let him blacken his own nose with a chargeback lol)

In over ten years I do not think I have ever asked for a free chip, I can probably count on one hand how many times I have asked is there any think on my account, Deposit bonus wise, I have nothing against people that ask as if you do not ask you do not get in this world,

Admittedly I have had a good fair shout of free chips and spins from the good reps here, Including Jason as I am 99% sure he has sorted me out before, Its just a shame what methods people will use when not winning, or lost what they cannot afford, It also goes to show that gambling can be evil if you are not in control.

Its a bloody shame to see what lengths people will go to in this game, Gambling should be for fun and entertainment, I admit most of the time you do not get that but when you do get that win it makes up for it,

What does it even mean to be a 'pro' at Blackjack anyway? Not taking a card on 18?

I lost some money playing slots today. I fancy having a friendly chat to recoup my losses.

Wish me luck!

This dude is just a very sore loser and a bum if you ask me.
And the worst part is,these kind of jokers affect all of us players, also the 99% with only good intents.
As the casino's have to shield themselves more and more from this kind of outragious sore losers/cheats.

You are right to post that here Jason,so we can for once see the other side of the medallion.

I myself work in a strong customer care related environment and if I had someone like him in my chat I am not sure if I could have kept my cool.

@jason

I think you were very professional and apologize to u on player's behalf for their rudeness and complete criminal behaviour

However, out of all that i think you might have been frustated when you said that but i don't agree with the following

''Jason: it's simple all the players that "complain" on the forums are the cheats!''

You had my sympathy till you refunded him, sorry i find that ridiculous and a insult to every genuine player.

He acts a twat, and you reward him for being a twat?

Great logic and a example to set!:eek:

Fair point. It's one thing blowing off steam on CM but the refund just sets a bad precedent.

So if you shout loud enough and kick up a fuss then you'll get your way. Jason should have taken his frustration and made the player wait. Had it been a minimal amount perhaps some discretion could have been used but not for a relatively sizeable sum like that

Especially at the part where the player confesses 'I ATE MY FUNDS'. That ought to be my tagline.

If casinos cave into such threats and issue refunds, it teaches these players that they can continue to work this scam. One problem is that this is a US player, and casinos ARE breaking the law by using fake codes and descriptors for the transactions. This makes it even easier for US players to issue chargebacks because they don't need to allege any "rouge" behaviour by the casino, they simply have to go to their bank having a whinge about how they lost too quickly at the online casino, and the bank, realising it had been hoodwinked into allowing online gambling transactions through, will chargeback the lot just to cover their own asses and remain compliant with the safe ports act. The other way a US player can charge back is to go to the bank and pretend they must have had their cards compromised because they haven't bought any bicycle parts from Dubai, software from South Africa, etc. The bank will investigate the companies taking the charges, and quickly find out they don't really exist, but are fronts for casinos, and again the player wins.

So long as casinos are prepared to run the gauntlet of the US, FBI, NSA, and the Safe Ports act by disguising transactions, they are wide open to chargeback fraud.

This player was a professional, but a professional con artist, rather than BJ player.

Only those deposit methods that are run via the banks are vulnerable to chargebacks, there are other deposit methods that cannot be charged back, so these are the ones that US facing casinos should encourage players to use where possible.

I don't think Bitcoin can be charged back, and this seems to be a solution that is growing in popularity when conventional transactions are difficult due to the local market.

It would be harder for this scam to be used in the UK, at least against a licensed casino. In the UK, the casino WOULD step up and object to the recall of the deposit, and counter claim that the player received a fair game and lost fair and square. They could also make a criminal complaint against a player who uses threats as blackmail, or lies to their bank, such as pretending their card was lost or stolen prior to the deposits they want back. I believe this has now happened, and a rogue player was sent to jail for scamming casinos (the charge was fraud).

I think thats one of the reasons the player was refunded, The casino's have enough to contend with trying to keep things under the radar, The last thing they want is banks go snooping to where the money was going and coming from, If Jason felt that the pro loser was going to go thru with it than it saves alot of bother, To include any extra charges involved,

Maybe in wasnt the brightest idea to let on about refunds, But at the same time it had to be known These so called pro's are not tolerated in this industry, It only takes one bad casino to let the cat out the bag and that player will be sorry as all there details will some how hit the internet & if thats the case they certainly will be blacklisted from casino's,

Its a shame as I know some of the casinos are not exactly legit in some ways but actually do a better service than alot of fully licences joints,

Don't worry Jason you might come across some professional oddballs now and then but you also have a lot of respectful and loyal clients as well I'm sure. :)

Keep up the good work that you do, it's nice to have Reps that care and believe in their Casino and players

Hi Guys and Gals.

I trust you all had a great evening. I had good few rounds of boxing at the gym this morning and feel much better :)
Refunding was maybe not the correct approach, but at the time I was just so frustrated and tired of always being held hostage by players.

Bottom line is, there will always be players that either love what you doing and others that don't. But I can assure all members on whether you are a member of an online gaming community or not, we do our best to maintain a reputable name and 99% of the times there will be a valid reason for a players not receiving a withdrawal or an account being locked. In the event of a player being refused, bring it to my attention and I promise I will do my best to assist.

If I don't respond to CM messages there is a reason, either I did not receive the notification of the post or I am not in the office. But please feel free to email the support desk and address the email to me.

As it is, I will be out of the office from Monday the 6th until the 12th of June. If you anyone has a dispute or a gripe, then direct your concerns to the support desk and address it to my colleague Dean who will be more than happy to assist.

Thanks for all the feedback and the honest remarks!

Catch you guys later....

Regards
Jason

There are some here that obviously feel it wasn't right for you to publish a private live chat, but personally I am glad as it benefits us all I believe. As players we usually get to see only one side of things and tend to be quite selfish in the demands we make of casinos in some situations, or our expectations can sometimes be too high. This is simply because in the main we deal with accredited sites on here, and have access to quick resolutions via the forum or reps etc.

I think this particular 'customer' puts things in perspective and shows the pressure certain bellends can put the CS chat or casino itself under. There have even been cases where players with a similar mentality have tried to tuck the casino up with a bogus BS PAB with Max, so we know what lengths some will go to.
I would've called his bluff - "yeah, go and do a chargeback and then I'll provide the payment company with a copy of this chat." Just blather from a bad loser when it comes down to it.:(

I agree with how you handled things Jason. It's sad that some players give a bad name to all. I hope this particular player gets his come ups in the end :eek2:.
