Yeah I'm trying to make appointments but can't even get through to doctor's at the moment, COVID I guess, been trying since the offices opened and they just disconnect immediately. Looking at trying electroshock since I've tried every other med.

You need to head by, in person. The phone is'nt going to be answerred since lots of places just dont bother.

Make that step today. A step for the rest of your life at this point.

Neon claws sorry to hear that you are having a real struggle with life at the moment. As others have said think of your kids and family and how it will affect them.
I’m glad you are still posting here and please continue to do so as every time you post is a sign that you are still here and your body and mind telling you you still want to be.
Good luck with getting the help you need and please if you feel you are gonna do anything harmful get yourself straight to a&e no messing about on phone.
Iv mentioned before in another thread I have been affected by suicide in my family and it is truly devastating and still struggle dealing with it, please please get the help now.

So sorry you had to deal with that nasty dickhead posting those messages glad they are banned.

Best of luck to you please keep posting and hopefully you update as you recover and this could be a help to others suffering down the line.

You know that mankind has bin through far more worse then this covid right?

Anyway; dont let it sink in for too long; do something active with it. This passive approach is'nt going to work.
I mean I literally cannot get a callback from a doctor because my state alone has 500k cases and no-one can do anything without getting tested so that's all the gp's are doing at the moment.

Well,

Then consider ( i mean urge you to) closing your casino accounts, give the access to any of your wallets or online payments to another you can trust. It's the first step really and if your not doing it your right back at that roller coaster again in a week or so.

Good to hear that, hopefully you are off the rollercoaster and can hang in there until you can get the help you need,if you
can stay away from gambling , its amazing how fast the urge can fade and you start to realise there are far better ways
of spending time and money

How would i know your absolute serious @neon claws ?
What are you asking? If I'm making it up?
If it matters to you for some reason I can send my Ethereum wallet address to an admin here and they can verify it.
Or if you're questioning if I closed my accounts I guess I can send proof of that too, not that it matters with how easy it is to open new accounts these days.
I still have been unable to get in touch with a GP let alone a psychiatrist but I have naltrexone from a previous effort to stop drinking which I am now taking and just not having the urge (or energy really) to drink is making things bearable.

The thing i personally dislike, is spending energy and effort in people, on which afterwards, it was like a waste of time. It could be true that even tho your message was like oh everything is closed you still got something going. Nada. This is my motivation to question you which is a fair question to be honest.

I mean props i think you are the most extreme case ive seen so far other then the ones who actually comitted suicide over gambling. But i dont think a suicide is worth it over a gambling loss. Yes if your in shit there's always a way out, and there's always a reward waiting for you at the end knowing youve done right and your life can only go upwards because youve seen the bottom.

You need to cut ties. Completely. I guarantee you you will feel a change in your behaviour and energy you have within 2 fucking weeks. If your hot and you really start having the urge or crave to gambling, do something else. Take a walk, spend time with your kids, cook for your family, over time you'll notice that it helps and the more distraction you put into the ring when your craving to play, the better it will go. Furthermore your wallet starts to increase slowly again.

I dont blame you or another to turn into a gambling addict. It basicly means all the R&D put into slots and design has helped the gambling industry to extract more funds from you then you could ever imagine you would do. The volatility taken to such extends of over a million spins is just a perfect excuse to make people dependend of playing more and more. Anyone could argu my above theory but i think i'm pretty much close to the truth.

The difference is, you have to know when to stop, walk away or completely quit. Fundamental rules of gambling. If you dont it will eat you alive.

All I can say is this
There's drama queens post for likes and loving and nothing more (hey, see me, look at me, ME ME ME)
There's those as post because theyve nowhere to post to (I'm hurting, man, it might pass, looking for advice or words of wisdom or encouragement)
And some, post, because it IS a cry for help and havent resources (look, I'm lost, I've nothing, and I fucking NEED help, like, look, I'm fucking drowning)

I don't know. Read...read between lines
Look inside. and You do YOU. Help if you want, or able, man

It’s easier for some people to help themselves than others. Everyone is different, different ways of dealing with stress, different ways of approaching things. I’m just glad I don’t give up on people so easily nor get annoyed by their struggles.

One thing I’ve learned in life is that it’s very easy for someone to sit there and preach about the rights and wrongs of someone’s actions where personal difficulties are concerned. Although ultimately the person has to do it for themselves, they very often need a strong hand up to accomplish what they need to in order to fix the situation. The ‘you need to do it for yourself’ is very often code for ‘I can’t/don’t want to help you’.

We are all humans, and there has bin quite some great people before us who led the way in any type of struggle what you can imagine. What makes you or me different in succeeding to truely accomplish what you want? It just takes a shittruck of motivation, discipline and you'll get there.

I find it weak for people who have the most troubles, while everything in life is just all about moving forward. You start dying the moment you dont want to live anymore.

You do realise that being condescending and matter of fact to people with mental health issues often makes them more demotivated?

It takes a special type of person to put their energy into helping someone with mental health issues, but it can be done. I can assure you of that.

If you go down the other ‘high horse’ route they will often begin to feel they’re a burden, abnormal and beyond help. They then begin to pretend everything is fixed. At that point the risk of suicide skyrockets.

Whilst the ‘stiff upper lip’ approach my work in seldom instances, it’s not something I’d champion personally.

People end up for a reason into that dark place that is called a gambling addiction. You find the source of that problem and you can walk away from gambling.

Of course, it’s very often linked to an underlying mental health condition. Which is why I brought mental health up.
