Things Casinos do that we hate

One more to add to the list, would call it:

WORST CHANGE 2015

Sorry but again 32RED. Just had 2 deposits via Ecopayz in a row not credited to my casino account, hence had to contact LiveSupport to have it sorted. The amount of time and clicks it takes to get connected is just hilarious. First very troublesome to find the LiveChat button and then fill out a form, click again 2 times to finally be connected to support.

Sorry Mark, but which "lunatic" programmed this????

Getting an email saying that you have free spins in your account only to find that they're not there, then having to go begging to CS to find out they know nothing about them.

If my freespins aren't there, I now don't even bother going to customer support to ask for them or see why. I don't want to give them the satisfaction of laughing at me anymore

They are usually only 5 freespins anyway and the likelihood is they are dead spins

This type of email really grinds my gears. I've told the rep about this before.

Get stuffed Thrills. You can't even be arsed to tell me which game this is for let alone why i have to qualify when I'm working.

Can't remember ever seeing these offers on a weekend.

Totally agree. Settle down after a long day at work for some gaming and head to my top casino spots, only to find an offer for superspins today I would have been happy to take needed a deposit before 5pm. Well, whoopy friggin doo....I'll take my money somewhere else tonight...

Got one more to add, although this is not casino specific as it is a general MG/Net-ent issue.

Why on earth did they stop allowing players to chose how many paylines he wants to play. On older slots it was possible. The reason i am pointing this out is that when i am down to my last bet and i do not have enough for a spin i now have to leave that slot and open one of the old ones to clear my balance.

Especially annoying is that if you play with a bonus and don't clear your balance to "0" and make a deposit on top the bonus wagering remains active!!!

One of my pet peeves - logging into an account from my German IP and the software is not smart enough to figure out all that all of my transactions and communications are done in English, yet I'm force fed German. I get crap loads of promo offers in German, even though I have not made any indication whatsoever that I am German except an IP. Even at 32Red which I've played at for donkey years has German pop ups. C'mon - really?

This is pure laziness on the casino's part. They could easily ask during the sign up phase what you would prefer as a language option.

This is maddening when traveling. Trying to log in to a site and being forced into a Spanish or Chinese site because of one's IP :axeman2:

I can relate to that ;)

I have almost all of my accounts in usd, but live in Sweden.
Even the Swedish sites are forcing me to read English just because of my currency. Often livechat is set to English too.
I know. It's the opposite problem but it's still there.

I just keep on changing the language back to Swedish:D

Banking pages that tell you withdrawal timeframes are "instant" to ewallets and then in the small print the killer term "when processed". Then you only have to work out how long "processing" takes. You'd be surprised how many outfits use those terms and while the readership here are savvy to it god help any newbie waiting on their money.
Bit like Mercedes telling you that cars are delivered "instantly" upon ordering and then in the small print adding "when built"

Oh and the biggest one by far for me is the continual mistakes made in terms and conditions by promotions teams in their offers.EVERY day I get something from someone that is just wrong, lazy , stupid , sloppy way of doing things. This is made all the more maddening by the fact that casinos rely on t+c's to decide if customers are entitled to their payout and many of them stick rigidly to them. However when they make a mistake with their t+c's all you ever hear is "sorry that's incorrect we will rectify it".Now you try coming with the same excuse with some of them if you make a mistake , in a lot of cases you'll be given the high road "sorry you broke the t+c's withdrawal denied".
I often thought we should have a thread "Marketing Stupidity" and name and shame them every day until someone in their organsiations finally gets the message that when your sending out promo offers etc. that could result in someone having a large payout that it would be a good idea to proof read them first and the person doing so having a basic understanding of the business.I have literally hundreds of emails on file all trying to clarify offers with marketing teams that after further scrutiny the terms were found to be incorrect/misleading.
Its simple - if an offer can be interpreted in more than one way - its been written wrong, there should be no room for any ambiguity for everyones sake.

"play anywhere from your tablet/phone". No not really - play anywhere where the connection your using has never in the history of mankind been used by another human being to play at the site your on, or where that connection may be using a proxy/vpn you don't know about. In essence play from home and nowhere else. And while your at it interrogate your partner/children to make sure they're not playing on the same site and no one that ever steps foot inside your house has access to your wifi code or desktop.

MOAN MOAN MOAN FERKIN MOAN

is that all you guys ever do ? :p

except I agreed with everything written provoking a question:

On a daily basis, how many times do you think a CS rep somewhere on the face of gods green earth is informed by a customer the dictionary definition of the word 'free'. lmao

FREE : an English rock band formed in London in 1968

You see, don't use Wikipedia LOL

C'mon buddy, you're just picking flies now lol, DOA is the balance clearing slot and has that beautiful habit of giving 3 scatters with just 2 pay lines (or less!) active what more could we ask for!

  • Casinos that change wagering requirements from 40x (specified in the T&C) to 80x without notification. Just plain sneaky and unfair.

  • Casinos that offer you a bonus on reversals or part-reversals to lure you back into play.

  • Casinos that doesn't seem to be able to provide a regular live-chat or a quick help via e-mail.

  • Casinos where you talk to people that have such a horrible indian accent that it's close to impossible to understand them.

  • Casinos where I deliberately switch everything to english, but I still get all the e-mails in badly written german.

'Hello, can I speak to Jonathan please'
'Speaking, Hiya'
' It's Paul here from 'X Casino'

Yeah Right, pull the other one, Paul one of the most common English names going and I can't understand a word you are saying!

Guess Its another promo I will have to (gladly) miss out on!

Do you really think I am going to deposit so when there may be an issue with my account etc, my stress is going to be magnified 100x trying to explain something to someone I cannot understand even slightly!

etc etc

My biggest complaint are casinos that give you a good bonus and then give you say 3 days to complete it. WHY??

I recently had a 100% bonus up to 500. So I deposited 500 and started with 1,000. I did not notice they had a time frame of 5 days to complete wagering. I make larger deposits with the idea to play on it for weeks sometimes. I am not in a hurry to wager it all so quickly. So why do casinos want to take the fun out of the game? It's greed I tells ya!

This time frame on bonuses is something that was not around a few years ago and has started to pop up more and more. Pisses me off dammit!

Its pretty bad,I see one yesterday which last 24hrs

Its simple, While a bonus is active the casino is not going to see a deposit of you, The quicker it clears the quicker they think they can get a deposit of you,

But we all knew that any way ;)

Casino's that have a maximum withdrawal limit!
You can deposit however much you wish but are limited to how much you can cash out.
Ridiculous!

Unsolicited bonuses

Well, I personally *hate* it when I play with own funds and then out of the blue the balance changes slightly, followed by an email "we have just credited you with a whooping $10 bonus, 30X WR, enjoy!". WTH? Looks to me like a roguish way to forcefully tie-up otherwise free-to-withdraw funds. I remember it happening at least three times, before I contacted this casino with a very explicit request to never credit me any "bonuses" unless I ask for them :)

Promotional emails from casinos that no longer accept UK players, I know a lot are prob random spam but not all are, is it reallty that hard to remove all UK players from promotional mailing lists, esp if we can no longer play there.

Big banners proudly announcing "casino payout for this week £5million" with no mention of what was taken to produce that figure well we know they take at least 5% profit based on a 95% RTP so the banners should really say "Casino takings for this week £5.25milion" or "Casino profit for this week £250,000"

Urmm, no thank you as not going to deposit :)

Another one of my hates is a no point emails, "Example", Jackpots getting high & shows a picture of a jackpot machine? Like I am going to win it any way and also need reminding ?
