They are going to start accepting other things like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Litecoin, Monero, Zcash, etc. These are some of the most popular coins and could open up new markets. No other online poker rooms/gambling sites accept nearly as many coins. I'm sincerely hoping that this starts a trend. Theo Goodman wrote a good piece at Medium.com regarding this announcement and its potential effects on cryptos. I like his perspective on this.
The positive argument for other coins is that many of them are far cheaper to use lately (2 cents to send funds with some of them), faster processing times, and others have immutable privacy.
Do you use any cryptos, or want to use any cryptos besides Bitcoin? Would you be comfortable using something else for your online gambling/poker?
