Time for a poll - it's been a while :)

What is most common reason that makes you uninstall a casino and/or close an account? I know there are often multiple reasons, but I'm just interested in the main one that ticks you off most - the most common reason you have come across for uninstalling.

BY all means add notes to qualify your vote via a post.

The next worst thing besides a casino not paying is always having issues with slow running games and casino downtime, when it becomes frustrating to me, its time to uninstall....................laurie

All of the reasons mentioned are reasons to uninstall, but no flushing withdrawls is one of the most important ones for me.
I've uninstalled Roxy Palace, all my Casino Rewards casinos and recently Dendera because of that.
But bad promotions and slow pay are also important factors.

I usually move on when the endless deposits at one place appear to be in vain. When donating to a charity would have been the better choice, (small tax credit) its time to check out.

I start closing/uninstalling casino accounts when I feel they have become too questionable and unfair in their returns after a certain amount of time...

I also uninstall them when I request no bonus offers and I get inundated with them for weeks...that is the most irritating thing they can do to someone that very rarely takes any kind of bonus except a free chip..

I do not want your lousy 15%/25% bonus offers..they are a joke....

I voted cashout times are too slow....although poor CS runs a VERY close second. I only play three casinos, but it wasn't always like that. I used to open accounts and deposit at every new casino that popped up. Then I finally came to realize (for me) that sticking with just one/the best of each of the softwares I wanted to play, was the best option. And it's worked out good. My deposits are less scattered all over, and I find my loyalty to those three is rewarded. All of them have what I'm looking cashouts in under 24 hrs, excellent support, deposit/withdrawal options and approachable management. I never feel a need anymore to "explore". :D

I had to vote for loyalty/bonus scheme...I really don't like most of the bonuses but what really bothers me is the loyalty aspect. I get more "freebies" from land based casinos than I do online. $$$ for my birthday, free meals, free rooms, free play, etc. I've been comparing all of this lately and other than being able to wear no makeup and have my jammies on I'm better off in a B & M. I don't want handouts from online casinos but after I have dumped a xxxx pile of money into one over the course of the year an acknowledgement once in a while would be nice. (They have now gone into the recycle bin) :p

The option I was looking for wasn't there. My main reason is when the RTG software turns against me which has been often lately. I will normally contact support and go, hey...I have lost my last 50 deposits in less than 15 minutes and I'm not a happy customer. Can you please return my RTP to where it was 6 months ago. At this time I normally get an apology that my luck is so bad but to keep depositing and it will change when I least expect it. Yeah, right! The one's that are nice and throw me a bone (free chip) get some more play and additional loyalty from me. The ones that show me their assitude get uninstalled. Once I uninstall a casino I DO NOT RETURN. ;)

My uninstalls in the last year:

Cherry Red
Casino Titan
Grande Vegas
Vegas Days
Cuba Club

I'm really growing a dislike for online gambling, especially RTG lately.

Langley, Canada, eh?
A casino or poker room gets removed from my computer when one of the following occur:

1. I get spammed by the casino or an affiliate when I already have an account.
2. They continue to bombard me with promos when I've opted-out repeatedly.
3. They that don't have live chat, or take longer than an hour to reply when email is the only option.
4. They are a rogue casino and have caught on to the fact that I've redeemed 100's of free chips without a deposit, and lock me out. :D

I'd immediately removed the casino from my PC, if I ever noticed they are changing their T&C retroactively...

Because I'm such a lazy sod, the only time I actually un-install a casino from my hard drive is if the casino wont run due to a technical glitch, or if my hard drive is so full I need the space!

I have never closed an account at a casino - I just don't see the point in ever doing that.
At last count I had signed up to 189 different ones... :eek2:

I chose "Too slow/gives me problems" becuase, if it won't run, what's the point. However, I could've chosen serveral others:

Mapau: They switched software after Netteller closed and it sucked. When I realised the "Coming Soon" games weren't coming at all, I uninstalled, and, as it turned out, didn't gamble online again for 3 years.

Rushmore: Uninstalled after all the slow payment issues awhile back.

Rome: Uninstalled after a closer inspection of the T&Cs.

One reason I wouldn't uninstall for is "variation/luck". Once I pick a place I like, I will stick with it and play exclusively untill/unless a good reason comes to uninstall.

Ditto on all points. I also personally don't see the point in actually going to the bother of closing an account. Others may feel it helps them to move on, so I understand that point.

On a side note, I've made a decision this weekend that henceforth, I will play ONLY on CM accredited casinos. I was playing on a non-accredited casino last week, asked for a small cashout, and they pulled that song and dance on me about, "oh, 24 hours means, 24 hours from the time you request to the time we send it to accounting." Won't be playing there anymore, period.

I chose "support slow/poor" but what gets me are people that say they're going to do something then don't. Got an email, unsolicited, from Slots Jackpot Casino's (Rival) VIP manager on the 8th of this month, upgrading me to VIP w/10% cash back each week. I write back and ask what day the cash backs are credited - Mondays - great! So happens, I deposited (and lost!) over $550 since then, today's Monday, yippee! No cash back. Go to Live Chat, and now there's a thread about it, here, at good, ol'!

So that's why I uninstall - not to close an account. Or if I just don't play someplace anymore, I'll uninstall and, lately, when locked out of some MG casinos that have quit on US players who haven't deposited since the new regulations.

Sometimes when the casino is installed it puts the shortcut to uninstall right beside the shortcut to start the casino....

Had to pick the too slow software. What's the point of continuing if it's going to take forever to play? And that slow software includes ALL those CD's I get in the mail (Mandarin Palace, Lucky Creek, etc.).

I've closed very few casino accounts over the 10 plus years of playing. Normally I just uninstall and never return...
