Ok, so let this beast of a slot have it´s own thread. Screenies, videos, questions, strategies!? No max, no min!

Im sure Rolastan will kick off this thread with a screenie before the weekend is over.

I spotted the discussion about this on the big win thread and I do agree its a good idea, although I imagine some might still want to post their shots on that thread with it being so popular ... but I hope this will take off. It definitely is the game producing the most consistent big wins of any slot I know of online, that alone makes it worthy of a special place at CM IMO :)

Haha yes I think the almost-five-wilds-on-a-line shots would be great in here in addition to the big hits. THe 'screenshots that suck' thread has been full of those recently, and as much as I understand the game and that five wilds on a line would be great, theres been some 500x bet hits posted in there lately which is just beyond ridiculous. 500x bet does not suck, no matter what you might have "just" missed !

I have a question for the regulars and the constant lucky winners of this slot. Has there ever been a time where you got a big win (1000+ x bet) and you lost more than that winning to get the next big win? If so what is the most you lost to get that next 'big' win (if it's not too personal to share)?

My first big win over 1000x the pic is too blurry to upload I won £96 for 9p and put it all back in the slot trying to win big again! If you get a win of over 800x I would leave immediately and either cashout or play another game! Don't go for the epic because you will more than likely be eaten alive! :D:thumbsup:;)

I think with DOA, the people getting big wins are putting serious money into it, sure you get the odd time where you get a feature and hit it big like any other slot but the bankroll of most DOA players seems to be far bigger than average slots, I hate it but still play it on occasion in hope that I can get a big win. Nothing to excessive on it over the past year, maybe £500-700 and ive had a 100x once and little else and that was because I hit a retrigger..with all wilds in pointless positions, if I put £100+ into most slots I would almost definitely get a 2-300x win at some point like I have every day for the past few weeks and even a few 3000x wins.

I just cant hit anything on DOA though, not played it in a while so yesterday and today thought I would have a quick couple of hundred spins on both days, not even 3 scatters and my biggest win was barely 10x and thats how its always been on this slot for me. I just cant think of any other slot I have played that gives me so little back, great blue is a real shit but ive had good base game wins on that and great features, its not even possible to get a good base game win on DOA ...and still I play it on occasion in hope that when those wilds drop it wont just be on reel 4 and 5.

I think he missed this thread. But guess it will be impossible to maintain this thread as separate. Simply also noticed lot of new members posting in normal threads.

Maybe should had named this thread Rolastans DOA Winner Thread :p

Most weekends, I get 50% match bonuses at several NetEnt Casinos. This weekend was Lucky Dino, Klaver and Smart Live.

I will admit to depositing 50 EURO at each (then getting 25 EURO free) and playing ALL three casinos at once (Mozilla, Chrome, IE browsers). It's no joke, playing 9c or 18c a spin makes 6+ hours of playtime.

Playing three at once is really fun and you often get bonuses together. Check the Screenshots thread, I just hit 5 wilds and now 1300 EURO in profit. Wagering is not going to be a problem on DoA, all these x2 scatters and frequent smalls wins.

No problem with the three browsers, but if I start watching YouTube or open Photoshop then things do become slow. As long as each browser has a different profile then you won't have any issues with bonus rounds.

I find this too. For a game with such mahoossive win potential it really does play like it's ultra-low variance a lot of the time.
Of course, it can go on shitty runs, but for comparison I just played one hundred £1 spins on Starburst, and won £25 (obviously a return of 25%). And that slot is low variance. Apparently
I'd be amazed to play 111 £0.90 spins on DoA and end with near £25...

jep, but for me I will not go for 111 spind with 0.90 for each. but your in the end right if the machine is going good you will save your balance, regardless to the spin amount.

So, over the last few months (late sept onwards i'd say) I've been playing DOA a few hours per day, almost always at £0.18 per spin.

    My experience has been interesting.

On one occasion I got 5 scatters resulting in a £450 win - zero more or less on the free spins themselves.

I've had numerous features and estimate around 5% of these have resulted in the 5 additional spins.

Usual win when you do get them is between £150 and £250.

I did have one win which got £774 ish and that came out of the blue (the game hadn't been doing much before that).

I have noticed that it seems to be cold for days then suddenly go through a short period of decent wins. It seems that this happens on all sites.

So a few questions for those in the know -

Is the game controlled by Netent rather than a local installation in the respective casino? This would explain the similarity in play across sites.

Does the game "recognise" the player regardless of the casino they're playing? I'm thinking - does it install cookies to know who you are?

Are there known peak times/days where it is more inclined to pay out? Am thinking, during times of heaviest demand or shortly afterwards. For example, early this morning, after most of the Friday night players had given up, I got some decent wins. I remember the same effect playing a fruity in the pub on a Sat morning - loaded up on the friday night, ready to pay on the sat morning.

If it seems cold, do you keep playing? What's your rationale?

When you've had a good win, do you keep playing or cash out?

Is it worth refreshing/reloading your game if its cold in the hope of getting a "fresh" session which might pay out more?

Does it know what your spins are going to produce when you load the game or does it take each spin from a "pool"?

Guess it does no harm to consider these things to work out a successful strategy.

Each spin is totally independent of the last, the game dosent care whether you've won or lost in the past either, an online slot works very differently to a pub fruitie.

It makes no difference when you play it, the only strategy involved is betting a sensible bet in relation to your bankroll and realising that 5 wilds on a line isn't a frequent occurrence, so if you go chasing be prepared for a long wait,

I tend to bail if I've had a massive win on it, as the base game is totally boring, and if I've taken a bonus I'd rather do the wagering on something more exciting

As far as strategy is concerned the only one that works for me is to wait for 2 scatters, make my hand into a pistol and shoot at the screen like a madman, looks very impressive when it works :p, when it dosent work you just look like a mental person

I Knew it!! - I'm not alone after all, Different tactics to get the 3rd 'scatter' include rocking in my chair (speeds build up faster per reel, You can Imagine I'm almost flying if the 'scatters' keep landing on reels 1 & 2, tapping on the exact reel positions on the screen (like yourself looks great when it drops just right) also shouting 'yes' or 'about time' before it actually lands (even if it doesn't) closing eyes and listening for the satisfying 'dunk', quickly switching screen off and racing out the living room (can't manage this one unless starts on first 2 reels :p) Lets hope this 'responsible gaming' that's gone to the 'top of the pile' in the UK doesn't extend to insane or weirdos like me :p
