Anyone else read the reports that the UK govt are planning to welcome online gaming companies/players etc with open arms? In light of the US crazyness, apparently we're planning to cash in!

Great news IMHO, but will be interesting to see how it plays out in reality.

I'll try to find some source stories when I've got a bit more time later.

Yeah its good - normally we look 3rd world compared to the US. But at least we're going forwards I am proud of British politics at long last and it's nice to know that Freedom of Choice still appears more important than money in our system.
