Hi Folks:

If you used to check out this area on a regular basis! I posted for years until July 3, 2016 when I had a huge stroke! I was fed though a tube and tied to abed. Several months later, I sorta knew what was going on, but I was half paralysed and no drink water or ice ... nada! I was pretty much in bed full time because I lived with heart failure for 17 years! For whatever reason (and it is rare) they started an operation on April 27th, 2017 for me to have heart transplant! I am finally coherent enough and started to make videos again!

This was my one year anniversary! See you all soon!

ps - This was the first time I went public with how I really look!

These was my first video back. With my scrambled brain I wondered for a long time if I could still do it! My voice is impacted by the stroke, but I think you can still understand it!

Holy crap! I never thought I would see you posting on CM since I knew you were mainly posting on that other site. I hope you still remember me when we went to Woodbine Racetrack and Mohawk Raceway many years ago now. I have gotten into online gambling for close to two years now.

I hope your recovery goes well and yes... Your voice is not exactly the same now!

Hi Y'all:

I don't usually post in this section of the site, but this is a reminder to sign your heart donor card! This is a video I put together late on April 26th to celebrate one year with a new heart! It takes a long time to recover from one major surgery, let alone two! I had heart failure diagnosed for 17 years! After nearly 1400 video, I have finally shown my ugly mug!

Take care all! Happy gambling! I came up 7's with this one!

Thank you for sharing Shamus. It's wonderful to see you strong and healthy again. Life is so precious and I also fully support donorship, am one myself. Take care.

Hey Sonict! As you can tell, I am just so lucky to be alive! I would have gone to woodbine and Mohawk with you for sure! I am just try to shake the cobwebs .. not to mention overcome my paralysis!

It is so good to contact you again!

I liked the websites, because you could get 95% on the same games! On the other hand, it is easy to spend all your money, so you got to keep a reign on it! It would be really nice to meet again! I have not travelled on my own yet, but I will soon! Do you want to make it to a casino for old time sake???

Thanks Pab ... there are many bad stroke patients who still get transplant! I just want people to know there is always hope!

Nice to receive your message!

Hmmm ... do I know a guy named sonic T ... uh, he brought his parents to Mohawk and I met them. He love Fallsview, and once gone an almost perfect screen on minimum bet on Kronos

Yes ... well, I am working on it! I remember meeting your parents one time at Mohawk, had pretty much a perfect screen at Fallsview in Kronos, I gave tons of greetimgs to go in my videos ... but no, I don't recall you ... heh heh! I didn't want to bother you cause I didn't hear from you for a long time!

Yep. You got me good. I am into streaming stuff online on Twitch ( Gambling related... Slots! ) these days. I haven't gone into a land based casino for quite a while. I do enjoy the casino runs when I have done them.

I have had lots of great online hits and cashouts. Just over a month ago, I had literally $1.88 of gambling funds and through luck, I have it built up to over $400 CAD to play with still. :)

This isn't from our local PlayOLG craptastic site that has crap games, the winnings all come from casinos based in Malta. Wish I could play WMS online though!

I will think about doing land based casino thing, but things are different nowadays since I don't have easy access to a car and I am also learning how to live on my own ( kinda ) since I am mainly in a apartment now.

Welcome back Shamus, in both regards. Hell of a thing you've been through!

I noticed you had posted two threads of duplicate content, I've merged those here. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Wow what a comeback from Stroke and Heart Failure
I can't imagine what it must feel like to have a new heart... that's just about as big as transplants get.
You'll be pleased to know I have been an organ donor (any and all organs) from the day I was old enough to sign the form.

Welcome back to CM, onwards and upwards.

Welcome, back the Shamus! I hope you heal well! When I hear of such things as you went through, I always suggest to people to ensure continued healing and healing from medical mistakes that can happen, I post about hydrogen gas therapy and the near miracles it can create.
