Following the debate on whether Playboy Casino is pornographic, let's see what the general concensus is.

For those that haven't played Playboy casino, it features some pictures and videos of nude women. It stops short of what one might call "explicit shots" and sexual contact, but does show fully nude female figures. It carries an "18" certificate on the website.

No, those girls don't offend me in the least, lol. They're very attractive. Course, I guess by now you've figured out it takes an awful lot offend me.

I wonder sometimes why people get so hung up on sexuality and nudity and the human body....and sex. It's just sex, it's natural..nothing dirty about it and nothing to be ashamed of. :)

And on that note, I'm going back to look at the present that Cynthial got me in Wildcards, and imagine what I'd like to do to him....ha ha ha.

Nudity and adult material are very welcome in my opinion. For slots etc. there is a million themes and way too many of them are boring and childish. I do not feel very macho when I am playing slots and throwing away money on slots like "Magic Spell","Ho Ho Ho","Munckins" etc.
If I lost them while looking at pretty girls I at least got something for my money. And if anyone is offended by the few mature Crypto slots - then there are lots of other slots them can play instead.

Since this is a gambling forum I would be surprised if some members was actually offended by this. Since the those that are usual offended like religious people already are offended by gambling and would not read this forum.

Seems Playboy is kind of missing the boat on a huge demographic...straight women and gay men.

Yeah, that's all I need. My husband looking over my shoulder as I play, getting a load of idealized feminine pulchritude...then looking at me and heaving a sad sigh. Oh yes, please.

I could get even if there was a casino with pictures and lovely little films of impossibly buff and heroically endowed boy-toys. Millions of women with the bucks to play...and not one naked guy. That's just bad business. And when and if someone does open up such a potential gold mine, here's advice that will make the experience really memorable for your customers....one word..."turgid".

Playboy- Everyone knows what Playboy is like and thats what you would expect at there casino. This is certainly used to their advantage many players are pulled in by this to. If playboy had made the site with alot less flesh many players and fans of playboy would be put off and think less of playboy as they expect it to be a bit risque.

:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

I don't find it offending, but I certainly wouldn't play there. I am a straight woman.

Funny how no-one's been mentioning the new-ish crypto slots - "Thunder down under" or something similar. Not something that exactly pushes my bottons, but something aimed at the other 50% of the market... (chippendale slots)

D.

I got the impression that Playboy casino offered streaming girlie videos during play? Sounds like porn to me (althought definitely "soft")

Believe me, I wanted to scientifically test it first hand, but they don't allow US players.

The poll results are about what I would have expected. Great idea BTW Simmo.

The only thing I find somewhat surprising is that 3 people actually voted for "pornographic and unacceptable". I'm wondering if they find porn in any form unacceptable, period? Or just an unacceptable marketing technique. The poll is private, so I don't expect any answers, just curious is all. Pretty much anything is okay for me....obviously I draw the line at children, snuff films, and extreme violence or degradation. But hey, nothing wrong with a little bondage. :D

It's the Dutch in me, I just can't help it. :p

Gambling, pronography, booze, arent these all staples in life.:D

Spoken like a true Canuck!! :)

What I find most inteersting about the poll so far is that about 1 in 5 people view nudity as pornography.

Absolutely Simmo. That was "sort of" my point as well. I wonder if those same one in five all have sex with the "lights off". J/K guys, not picking on anyone's opinion...it's just a joke.

Don't think much of the one in the middle...

Check out Wildcards Slotster. Bryan has posted a pic of himself in the "near" buff, lol. I guess nudity is the theme of the day. Cool by me. :D

because you lot have page 3 models. lucy pinder is my favourite, holy moly! here you have to be 18+ to see boobs in print and the mags are covered in foil so you can't even steal a peep in the store.

i think playboy pushes the envelope in all the right ways. clearly sex is more acceptable for discussion and nothing to be embarrassed of these days, and appropriately playboy takes all the liberties they do, such as the videos and tv channel. as sex becomes more and more "normal" then of course the porn industry has to step it up to maintain their niche status. for instance the channel city-tv shows a softcore movie almost without fail beginning within the hour past midnight on friday nights. boobs, simulated sex with no genital nudity shown. appropriately playboy and others need to amp it up to get their level of perversion equalized in reflection of the changing times.

same as in pro wrestling, the stunts get more and more dangerous as spectacular manoeuvres become commonplace and the need for something even crazier and riskier is expressed. anyways, playboy's casino is tame, the slots are like little one-inch squares with quarter-inch tits on em. get real, that's nothing to jerk off to! they are moving tits though when it's a winner  and maybe the mag/tv subscriptions are a little much and definitely not for all, so i hope there are enough other prizes to buy with bunny money. and a lot of chicks like bunny merchandise like a keychain or shirt to make them feel like they're all that. sexy biatches

the nude slots and branded prizes including adult media are going to net this place a lot of traffic. it is my crypto of choice for non-bonus, i want to save up enough points for, erm, the poker set, yeah that's it  well actually can only the uk get the tv scrips? i really didn't want one anyways, i really do want the poker set :D

If it floats your boat...

I've not visited Playboy Casino myself, however if a Playgirl casino started up I would most likely have a look:D

But seriously what is all the fuss about nudity, when we blithely choose the weapon and kill people for cash in Hitman? Did I miss the thread that went "thou shalt not kill..." No, because we are all adults and accept it in the context of a game. Accept that nudity is in the context of the brand.

This is an adult industry, if you think nudity is porn...er.. just don't download Playboy Casino because unless you have been living in a cave for 40 odd years you should know what the brand is all about.

however if a Playgirl casino started up I would most likely have a look:D

I may be convinced to give it a go as well, with a bit of arm-twisting, and if the price were right. :D

I don't see the big deal is every gambler knows that sex appeal is a marketing tool, most of us are so use to this we hardly notice the stuff. Would you tell waitress in a casino to go put some clothes on or tell the management that your shocked that they allow this to go on? NO, you wouldn't because you walked in the casino expecting and knowing this is how they work!

There are many different ways casinos will try to appeal to each gender, look at "Ladies Night Out" by micro that is geared towards woman, they even gear the games to fads such as "Loaded" we all know some people think gangsters are cool(get real people...lol), others could have viewed it as racial prejudice and taken all of micro banners down.

Anyway if anyone wins a trip to see Hugh take me with you!!

. The Palms invited me to a party at the Mansion on March 18,2006. Vegas to LA with a guest reception at the Roosevelt Hotel and then party at the Mansion with all guests to receive smoking jackets. I missed the probably once in a lifetime opportunity so I can only imagine but I did frame the invitation. (Maybe I will take a pic and post the invitation as a screenshot). Was very surprised at the invite as I had only set foot in The Palms once and only gambled for about an hour and left. I would not even give them my name and told them to quit asking. Eventually, I had 4 splits with 3 doubles in BJ where I had to pull out the amount of cash (to cover bets) that the casinos require an ID by law. Never spoke to or heard from any host but still get some invites like shopping sprees, etc. but nothing close to my missed opportunity.

Porno??

I'm suprised no one has mentioned the SLOTLAND slot called SILVERKISS... it has total frontal nudity on the game itself... and on winning spins it offers you the opportunity to view a "sexually explicit picture" if you wish to.

I'm under the impression that the Slotland game is a lot closer to "pornographic" than anything on the Playboy Casino site.

Any thoughts on this?

I do not get why people react this way to the human body. It is natural, beautiful and shouldn't be hidden. Sexuality is much the same thing. It is a natural part of being alive, human nature. Society has conditioned us to think that both of these things are wrong and improper.

Now, I'm all in favor for fairness here... I've said it before and I'll say it again... Where's MY eye candy??? I think we need a playgirl casino... pronto! Why do the men get all the fun?? Sure, there are slots out there with semi naked men.. but a whole casino of them? With video?? Us women are being forgotten! We like to look.. and dream.. too!!

Uhm there is one slot for the women and gay men....Called "Down under" or something along those lines.

edit: Found it...it's a Crypto slot. Called "Thunder Down Under"...(Thanks goes to slotjunkies.info :D)

Are those guys buff enough for you swampwitch!?

I do tend to be sceptical of casinos that use nudity to sell the concept of gambling when it's unexpected. That doesn't mean to say I think that nudity is pornographic, I don't, but the main difference between Slotland (or any other casino for that matter) and Playboy is that Playboy's branding IS nudity, I expect it, whereas with other "normal" brands that type of thing makes me wonder if it's in use because the casino isn't as good as it should be in other aspects: or at least, isn't attracting players like it wants. It feels almost like a cop-out "ah well, lets resort to tits and bums, that should bring 'em in". The good old fallback marketing ploy when you've run out of ideas: sex sells.

stop spamming your favorite porn site, winbig!

Now there's an idea :D

OK, that's a couple of times now where we're told..."Look, there's a slot just for you! Now stop bitching while we control the other 99.99% of what you see. Boobies boobies boobies boobies...."

No. I want little films. I want routines. Dance numbers. And oil wrestling.
Now lackeys...Amuse me!

my 2 cents

Well
When I was growing up my family had a membership to the Playboy Club in Wisconsin (USA) and went for brunch alot. It didnt bother me. I admired how beautiful the women were. I think the body can be a beautiful thing and people in the US (especially) make a deal of it.

I think Europeans are way more open minded. Our bodies are a natural thing and shouldnt be looked at as dirty. We all have the same parts, just different sizes ( I got lucky with my husband's size, hehe) OMG...did I say that outloud in writing?
