Ok, I sat here and played a few games at Inetbet and Another RTG by choice. I chose to play all the Major/Minor jackpot games and played for 2 days on my dime just to see if anything has changed on the RTG front.

Well, here is my observations and my insight on what is happening.

1. The reason the Major/Minor jackpots were implemented was for MORE hits and smaller jackpot wins for players unlike the random jackpot...as per Dogboy.

2. The Major/Minor jackpots are getting as large as the randoms..What's up with that? Are they broke ??? Are we spending our monies for something unattainable ??

3. There are no screenshots of these jackpots lately...because they are not hitting (as viewed by their enormous balances which should never have been achieved if they paid as they were supposed to payout) IMO which should never go this high as per the purpose of these jackpots. They were suppose to go off more often and at lesser amounts...but they aren't. WHY ??

Can anyone in the RTG world explain this PROBLEM ? Are they BROKEN ?? Why are they reaching so high? Why are they not hitting more often? The way it was told to me was that they were implemented to pay off smaller balances and more often...what happened ??

I mean, c'mon...did you think no one would notice how high they have gotten ...geezes...what really will pi** me off will be that within the week we will see tons of screenies showing a ton of them being hit because RTG was outed and caught red handed holding these jackpots back on us.. and they had to show that they were not holding these jackpots back on us players, so they are going to dump them ...and I already spent my dime playing and testing them and that sux.

I went into INetBet the other day and was surprised how high the RJ's were. In their monthly newsletter, the number of RJ wins has dropped dramatically, especially when compared to late 2009 and early 2010.

Not sure what changed but it does appear something did...

If I had to guess, it would be that due the bad economy, player numbers have fallen, maybe dramatically. Thus, you would have fewer players and as a consequence, fewer jackpot hits. That doesn't entirely explain why these jackpots have grown LARGE however, since if there are fewer players these days, the jackpots would grow at a smaller rate.

Players beware...things are not the same. They are grabbing all they can, while they can. What that means is their days are numbered, at least the ones who cater to the US market. They know it and they are taking advantage of the last rays of sunshine. Very seldom does any casino, whether it be Rival or RTG get my deposits anymore. I don't quit altogether but they have cost THEMSELVES thousands of dollars in deposits from me this year because I don't trust them that there is potential enough to win, justifying anything more than token deposits to have some entertainment. I think we have a better shot at land based casinos. Online casinos just don't serve the purpose I started playing them for any longer.

Perhaps but the economy has been bad for at least 2 years now.

I could go into INetBet's main screen and they almost always had a banner saying someone won a random - sometimes 3 people would be listed at a time. Haven't seen a banner in a long time but then again I don't play there much.

Their newsletter includes all jackpots down to about $10. Guess a jackpot is a jackpot.;)

nisosbar: player numbers have fallen
I have to disagree with you here. The players numbers has rien for years and they play never changed, they jackpots never changed until the last few years..There were less players BEFORE 2004...a LOT less..only when they (the casinos) player base grew to enormous amounts and became more flush with funds did they let losse a little and then bang, they tightened up in 2006 without the need for this because if they were making money 10 years ago with a smaller player base...only greed can be the source of what is happening now..they got a tast of great big bucks and do not want to let go of any of it...plain simple greed..

It is logical to assume that the Global Recession has had a definite impact on Online Gaming. This coupled with 'No US Players' has obvioulsy lead to less and less players depositing higher amounts or better still, budgeting lower for gambling purposes.

No other Casinos post their Nett Takings apart from 32red (As far as i am aware) - Did I miss read the post by Brian (Im certain that they did post quarterly results)...

Would Casino's post their quarterly takings for public Consumption? This would be an interesting excercise to say the least...

I have flagged the post for response for Bryan or Max to elaborate on 32red...

I once saw a Post by CM on the quarterly results for 32red. Is there a reason why they post their quarterly results and no other accredited casino does? Or am i in dream land?

Probably partially due to them being a publicly traded company ie. 32Red PLC. I would imagine that those results are part of the quarterly and annual reports for stockholders. That's just a guess BTW...but it makes sense.

EDIT: Went back and found the thread, and yeah...what Bryan posted was the six month shareholder report for the first half of 2010. Link for reference:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/32red-plc-six-month-summary-report.39054/

I would "guess" that this info would be attainable for any publicly traded company?

Thanks Pina...

I suspected that they were publicly traded (hence the results). Thanks for finding the post. Are you aware of any other Publicly traded Casinos and if they post their results?

Nate

Not really too "up" on that aspect of the gaming industry...but off the top of my head....PartyGaming I'm pretty sure is publicly traded. And what about William Hill? Beyond that, someone with more knowledge than I will have to chime in.

Spot on. A requirement of being PLC.

The Jig is up for all RTG's, Your games ARE Broken IMO and here is why

I was ready to give up last week or so, I even posted somewhere "stick a fork in me I'm done"

I turned $12 into $8,000....yup you read that right.

I received a rebate for something I purchased, it came as a visa credit card for $12. I took a 75% bonus at iNetBet on selected games, turned it into $300...cashed out....went over to Vegas Regal cashed out $1,000....played and played...finally at Highnoon I was hitting left and right $8,000!!!..received my first payment this morning.

Thanks goes out to Vegas Regal/iNetBet...and especially Highnoon!!!! (Tom you are the best) This is the most I have ever won. Starting with $12, it's really unbelievable.

Add on...only slot play

Glad to hear a winning story finally. Personally, I had a horrible month on the slots in July only to have a great month (mostly RTGs) in August.

I just figure that's the slots. When one $10 spin can pay $5k, there is so much back and forth that I just figure it's bad luck when I can't hit anything for a while. Just remember, one good spin can cancel out a lot of losses :)

Make sure that you buy yourself something tangible with the money. Very happy for you. That's the way that luck goes. :)

My luck was sooooooo bad I was giving up online gambling. When I say bad, I mean BAD...it was getting to a point where I couldn't even get a deposit up to $100...I even asked people what am I doing wrong..lol.

Oh, I have plans for the money already. :D My husband was going to buy a new washer, now I will, I am a very early Christmas shopper, I'm already looking...lol...so my 2 daughters will have a great Christmas. If my husband is nice to me, he will also have a good one. ;) Not sure on the rest of money yet buy my mind is thinking.

Anyway...I know this will never happen again, so I didn't leave any money to play with, cashed it all out, didn't want to have that feeling of "I will win again" ya know? (have to wait to next week to get some more, blaaa payments) I'm doing housework today, keep my mind occupied.

No chit Nate...don't I wish.

Slotslover...yup, that it right. Just wanted to add..I didn't hit any randoms.

THAT is excellent. Even when I don't win large amounts, I still actually take the majority of it. I leave very little to redeposit. It's smart, and it's good money management. And trust me, in the long run, it makes you a much happier, and more satisfied, gambler.

just play: I was ready to give up last week or so, I even posted somewhere "stick a fork in me I'm done"
just play, we know there are one or two big winners every once in a while..which I think is wonderful..Congrats on yours especially! WTG!

My post was about the major/minor jackpots that were suppose to go off like the Rapid Fire ones at Intercasino..this is not happening. They are growing by leaps and bounds and no one is hitting them because they are so high...

What was the point of this if they are not allowing them to hit, I was asking...why are they holding these funds back and why are they allowing them to grow so large..that was not what was told to us..they were in "addition" to the larger randoms so players would have more chances of hitting "smaller" jackpots...well..can anyone tell me what went wrong with this concept ?? Because it is not happening! and they got our monies but are not returning it in this way...

.

It is very frustrating but I don't beleive the casino's are "holding them back". They are by definition random and the minors could hit at 201 dollars or 999 dollars. I think the overall payout percenatges can be adjusted for the game (but not for an indiviual player) but the random jackpots are not included in those payout percentages.

I did win a minor jackpot 300 odd at Inetbet last month and have won a major there before 9K some years ago.

It does just seem to be just the luck of the draw- which I guess is the definition of random .

I acknowledge your pain though - it does drive you nuts especially when it seems that a random is the only way you are going to win anything due to the cold run.

The jackpots are nice but the probablitlies low - probably best to just treat them as a wishlist bonus rather than a real possibility
