Nailed it 100%This issue people have is when they're making in excess over say 25+ deposits regardless if those deposits are either large or small & however long that time period is..this could be days/weeks/month etc, and they've never managed to hit a withdrawal.
They may also notice the game just isn't playing as it should or what they're used to, for example a few thousand spins on a low-medium volatility slot and not a single tease or bonus is triggered. It is only natural to become a concerned and anxious especially if that player moves onto other games and the same situation happens. Players know if they contact customer support they'll get the usual blurb such as all games are independently checked blah blah... At this point the player has x2 options, do they continue depositing at a casino they've lost all faith and trust in or does the player drop his or her losses and goes through the self-exclusion/cool-off option and many do this not because they have a gambling problem but because they feel they've not had value for money and to effectively punish the casino by closing their account & in most cases never returning.
I personally do notice a trend when playing, some casinos you seem to just non-stop deposit & lose but others you win decent amounts or lose but have a fair & fun game which you feel is value for money.
When players are depositing (safely with deposit limits) & lose on every single deposit & game, the casino should be jumping in with a little pop up message enclosing a free 'goodwill gesture' and adding cash to the balance to give that player another chance at winning and I'm not talking 25 free spins on Big Bass valued at 10p spin either. Now if they began doing things like this it would cut down on the many folk who self exclude through frustration not due to a gambling problem.
