The Girls are back ( Girls wth guns 2 )

Well I must have just been VERY unlucky on it then. I'm really kicking myself now for trying this big steaming heap of crap with real money :(

It took me exactly 370 spins to get the first feature, during which every block of spins (25 or 50) produced bad losses.
The feature was Frozen Wilds, and because the normal spins were so awful - I was expecting the feature to be good... Oh no - just $8.04 off a 60c spin (bet x13.4).
Thinking I might have just been unlucky I carried on, and sure enough I got the same feature again 20 spins later... only this time it paid just $1.60 (Bet x2.6)
50 more spins, then I quit. 440 spins played - RTP 46% - what a fricking pile of Shite!
Wont be coming back to this one any time soon.

Microgaming Feedback

Hi Guys,

You are probably aware that Microgaming read these forums to gather feedback on their new slots - this thread definitely has their attention as our MG account manager contacted me this morning with some feedback.

Firstly, he pointed out that it's possible to stop the shootout bonus interrupting game play. In the AutoPlay settings, if you uncheck 'Stop on Base Game features' then Autoplay will continue.

Also, on the Shootout bonus itself, he says...

Hearing how much players are not enjoying the shootout bonus has encouraged us to make a change to the game maths engine which will see this bonus occurring far less frequently and pay much more when it does. We plan to go live with the game update in the next month or so and hope that this will see players return to the game and give it another shot. The game development teams do follow the forum and appreciate constructive feedback on their products, and are open to pursuing updates that are valid and make sense.

So, there you go... your opinions are being noted. :)

Regards,
Mark

Thanks for the Feedback Mark,

I hate to be the Tin Foil Hatter here: Since this has been confirmed by MG now - How many Slots engines have been updated in the past without players being informed or knowing that there have been changes?

I think this opens up a can of worms. Will MG release an official statement saying that the engine was updated? I don't think I've ever seen something to that effect.

Nate

Thanks Mark, it's nice to see that MG listens to player feedback.

Maybe he meant that this feature will be added? because i can't find that option.

If they respond to that question Nate, I'll surely post it.

Hmm, not sure, here is the screenshot he sent me:

Let me see if I can find it.

This is great news. I hate those constant interruptions to win 2x bet if I'm lucky.

I would much prefer to see that feature a 100 times less but with a big pay when you get it. It would be something to actually look forward to.

Apart from that I quite like the slot. It's currently one of my favourites because the main feature can pay so well.

What is the highest win the 'shootout bonus' can pay at the moment? The biggest multiplication of stake i've seen on it is 20x (£12 60p spin)

I agree with the shootout bonus being horrible, if you have a dry run (trust me Ive had several on this slot) then it gets really annoying doing 400+ spins to get a bonus and the only pay is those 1-5 x bet shootouts.. would be much better with a rarer but bigger hit potential bonus (Maybe the different girls/weapons can decide the outcome), it would really add some spice to the game. I do agree that when the game pays that spice is there, but a rarer but better shootout would be much more enticing.

This news is fantastic. It's great that Microgaming is listening to players opinions and improving their product to match our expectations. Can you let us know when they do this update?
Now if Netent would listen to us everybody would be much happier:D

I personally like the game quite a bit.

But, like many others, I find the shootout bonus to be quite poor. Winning LESS than your bet is not exactly my idea of a bonus. I'd rather the slot just spewed out a 3OAK of Maria and dispense with the fannying about that the shootout bonus provides if it is going to give a bonus that is less than 1x bet.

The biggest win I've seen (but not won) on the shootout bonus when I have played it is 20x (£6.00 on a 30p bet). But wins of anything more than 4xbet have been pretty rare to see, let alone hit. Even the much-maligned Avalon II gives a guaranteed minimum 5x bet every time Merlin appears on a non-winning spin. I'm glad MG are listening to feedback regarding the shootout bonus. It's about time they gave the impression that they actually give a flying shit about the people who make them their money....the players.

The other issue I have with the shootout is when Zoe is the character featured. Once she has done her abseiling thing, I find that the slot gets a bit "hiccupy". The smoothless of the spin definitely diminishes, to the point that it almost pauses on the spin of the third reel and beyond. I have found myself closing the game immediately after a Zoe shootout bonus and then re-loading the game in order for the smoothness of the spin to return.

My only other gripe is when you get two scatters on the first two reels. The time it takes for the remaining three reels to come to rest is just ridiculous. It is even worse than it is on Break Da Bank Again. It really does overdo it to the point that it actually gets very annoying, even when you do hit the third scatter. But when you do get two scatters on the first two reels 4 spins in a row (which I have done on GWG2) and you fail all four times to land the third scatter, that is when frustration can start to build, especially if your bankroll is taking a beating during a session of GWG2. If you don't intend to put out three scatters, then fine, I can take it. Just let me get on with the next spin please. Instead of this "needlessly prolonging the agony" bullcrap.

But as I said, I like GWG2 quite a bit and the issues I have mentioned above are not major enough for me to never want to play it. Unlike Avalon II which is just becoming a more tedious (and bankroll-bleeding) borefest by the minute.

Love the slot so far, but damn it can take ages to get the feature on it 200x lost is not rare, but the feature do pay 100x a decent amount of times, had a 300x once and its the best so far.

But that shootout bonus is just annoying as hell cant use autospin either on the danish casinos cause none options to autoplay it.

I just hate the amount of scatters on 1+2 sometimes its like 5-6times in 20spins and it just never drops in most of mine been on last 4reels, and its a new deal with none pay on 2scatters? we dont get that many MG slots in denmark so i dont know but avalon 2 does pay on 2xscatter atleast.

over 20 deposits since its release at spin palace i have had in total only 6 bonus rounds and highest was 100x and the rest 10x, 30x, 20x, 4x and i think 22x

Shootout has never give more than 3x

so all in all its not been a great slot for me just like avalon2 but other people are enjoying it so i guess MG always has players for the slots they release as one might not like it but the other one does

Most of time I get bad luck from The Girls with Guns 2. Pretty poor slot imo, less stack than previous version and too low payout in normal game with much less stack doesn't really add up well at all, but it does better in free spin to make up for what you lose though so there wouldn't be much difference in RTP for both combined but very poor RTP in regular spin by itself though. Avalon II seems much more reliable payout to me than that even Dark Knight is much better than the first version of The Girls with Guns.

MG has finally "fixed" that base game feature. I got it 3 times today during about 300 spins with 1.20€ bet and they pays 32€, 24€ and 21,60€. Now this feature isn't so annoying anymore.

I was just thinking about how annoying the feature still is when I played the slot a couple of days ago and thought that the fix isn't coming afterall. Great to see they are actually listening to player feedback

Did they fix the "lack of smoothness" that comes immediately after Zoe's shootout?

This one sucked my bankroll in a few hours with 0,75p bet. Was 500 euros down and then hit the expanding wild with 7 wilds in frozen free spins mode with 3 spins left. 900x Bet!
Had probably 30 shitty free spins modes previous to this one, maybe 2 was alright. Was too stoked to screenshot. Well it's def a high variance game where you won't win basicly anything until you get all the frozen 5OAKS with a wild. Not too fun, but damn that win was intense :) +100 euros in session in total so I'm not sure if it was worth it.

It's a pretty vicious slot tbh. I used to love it (enough to bet 60p instead of my usual 30p), but now I can hardly get a drop of blood out of this proverbial stone. Not unless I've had a severe depletion of my bankroll beforehand. I'm almost "scared" of it now.
