now with the help of all you guys and this site, I thought I'd finally got my head around bonus T&Cs.

but one point still worries me, if I bust out with my original deposit and bonus and my balance goes to zero that should be the end of having to meet WR right?

if I make further deposits and win from here am I not free to cash out anytime I want? I ask because two casinos have failed to honour my cashouts saying I still had to meet WR and told me to reverse the cashout!

today I questioned this and pointed out my balance had hit zero from the bonus money, they say not according to their database, when I provided a session number and transaction number showing zero balance, online chat went very quite.

so please someone can you confirm my understanding of the rules, once balance is zero further deposits should not have WR, should they?

It depends on which casino you are playing at. I believe cryptos and the English Harbour group carry over the wagering requirement. However, I'm pretty sure that playtechs and microgamings don't. But, to be sure you should check with the support of the specific casino you are playing at.

Normally this is true for bonuses that are credited before you wager, but not always. Intercasinos bonus for example, will carry over wagering requirements to the next bonus if you stop before you're done.

Bonuses that are credited after wagering is often not affected by busting at all. In this case, you can keep losing all you have but the bonus will still not be credited before you have met the requirements.

Tell us which casino's you're talking about & we'll try to help.
e.g. Some RTG's say you must log out after zeroing before depositing again or WR does carry over.

Note: the above post is incorrect - if you zero out at Intercasino the WR does not carry over.
(At least, it doesn't on my account! ;) )

thanks KK tonites fun and games were with river belle

scary thing is this has happened twice now, first they refuse the cashout saying still need to meet WR, when I point out zero balance they say not according to their records, yet both times I was able to give them a transaction number from playcheck.

the 'half full pint' in me says errors made by CS due to poor training and understanding of thier own T&Cs

the 'half empty pint' in me says lousy business tactics to try and stop you cashing out :D

carry-over at Intercasino

from their T&C

"Please note that if the wager requirement is not fulfilled within the month the said bonus is issued, any outstanding wager requirement will continue until the wager requirement is met - even if additional bonuses are issued."

Some bossmedia casinos has same problem (supervegas, etc.) .After chatting, they correct mistakes and send payments but it takes long time.

Had this with luckynugget (I think) they wanted me to finish off the sign up bonus, can't remember what it was, but it was quite high. Had a friendly chat, and they(after a long time) spoke to the promotion's department who allowed them to get rid of my requirements. So give it a try!

BelleRock CS may actually be innocent in this (makes a change:D ). There has been a long standing problem with the MG database that CS uses to work out whether to apply the "bust out" rule. The database will easily provide the amount wagered, but seems less willing to volunteer to CS the fact that a zero balance has been reached.
The best thing to do is to get to exact zero, log off, log on and off again to mark a whole session as zero balance with no activity. Log on a third time to deposit and play. Even this is not reliable, but it makes it easier for CS to see the zero balance between sessions.
As more MG casinos use the new bonus system these problems should come to an end, although the changeover might be an issue with bonuses granted before the change if they have not been cleared.

so if I'm reading this correctly lets use an example

I deposit $50 and get $50 bonus, total $100 and have to met a x20 WR i.e. $2000, I bust out and balance is zero.

I now decide to deposit another $100 no bonuses this time, I'd have to wager upto $2000 before I can cash out, where's the sense in that or advantage to player or casino, I may as take my $100 to another casino and be free to cashout as and when I want.

Seems to me this type of nonsense T&C is there for the benefit of one party only and it aint the player!

Shhhhhh... I hope Ryan H isn't reading this!
Regardless of what the T&C's say, I'm 100% certain mine does not carry over, I should know - I've bust out enough times only half way to WR there!
But note that it says 'within the month the said bonus is issued' - it doesn't say anything about carrying over to the next month or what happens if you zero-out... ;)

This could be interpreted in a number of ways ie

1/You have not met the WRs yet in the month the bonus was issued. As long as they continue not to be met, you will have to meet them before cashing out in the latter months or even years regardless of whether any new bonuses are issued.

2/ You have not fulfilled the WRs yet within the month the bonus was issued so even whether additional bonuses are issued or not you still have to meet the outstanding WRs of the previous bonus.

3/ The granting of additional bonuses, though carrying with them their own WRs, does not exempt you from meeting the previous WRs if they havent been met yet.

There is nothing that is said about what happens to outstanding WRs on busting out. Would this be a 'discretion' exercise akin to King Neptune's case.
Hopefully not. From KK's experience, they do not carry over so if some players are already treated this way, others should not be treated differently.

There was a discussion about Intercasino carrying over wagering requirements a couple of years ago - but after a lot of complaints from players and webmasters, they finally removed that restriction.

Or at least, from month to month. I didn't know this was in their terms and restrictions, I surely hope they're not even carrying it over within any particular month... if you lose everything and zero out, you should be considered to have met the terms and conditions in full.

I very often also bust on the intercasino bonus and I can confirm that WR is not carried over.

It is cleared excacly when I bust.
So I can log on later that month and make a small deposit to try the new slots without having WR. I would never do that if I still had some old WR to fullfill.

I read on this forum that William Hill carried over the WR and it seemed to be true. I busted on my first monthly deposit and I could still see the WR in the software.

However I tried again later after some months and it was gone.
