The Casinomeister Bar and Grill

Wasn't really a dirty game, so the ref didn't have much to do

Poor Karius however.....

the 2nd cock up was worse in someways than the first, but reckon his mind had gone by then. feel sorry for him, but I would say to him its only a game, 22 blokes kicking a football around. things could be worse.... your beloved football club could be owned by

sorry guys I couldn't resist, is he selling up or are stuck with him for the forseeable?

Who the hell knows anymore. As far as I know he's still looking to sell, problem is this means he doesn't want to give the best calibre of manager we could ever hope to get, virtually no transfer funds.

Just glad West Ham got Pellegrini, let's just say. Old Rafa's gonna be coveted by just about everyone....

I don't dislike Ashley as much as some, even though he's indifferent to NUFC these days, because as irritating as he is, he did save us from certain bankruptcy/ liquidation all those years ago when we were set to do a 'Leeds'

yeah he has put some dough in to help you back up into the epl, got rafa in the hotseat too, maybe ashley is learning on the job, also I believe he does go to the games and seems to be passionate. certainly worse owners out there, [just remembering though didn't he give pardew a massive 7 year contract ?] but... the potential of newcastle is massive.

If man city can become world beaters why not newcastle, you can't take the money with you may as well spend it. Or get the newcastle youth back playing football, might unearth some homegrown gems

Anyone else about to watch the Tyson Fury abomination of a boxing contest thats about to start? What a rip off it is. They promoted the PPV and took the money before announcing that he was taking on a bum! I prefer pinching the live stream :)

Get a grip Colin, we all knew Fury was to have a cobweb- dusting warm-up fight but the opponent was never announced for some strange reason

It was always going to be a bum.....but to charge PPV is a bit outrageous to be fair. He's not that much of a draw

Is he in good condition now? presumably they've gone down the old trusted route [ala bruno etc] of lining up some journeyman boxers to get the 'unbeaten in so many fights' and 'number of KO's' up before he does battle with joshua.

Yeah, he's about 28 stone and can only use part of his right arm but other than that he's tickety boo

Not that much of a draw when facing a journeyman Cruiserweight like he is tonight.
I also noticed a big difference between press release pictures of Fury verses the live weigh on tv. The images must have been airbrushed because hes still carrying some extra weight.
I wish him well though.

For a guy of 6 foot 9 he is unusually nimble on his feet. I think that with the new camp that he is with and new trainer he could improve over the next few years just like BJS has

The Heavyweight/ Cruiserweight division's screwed anyway, if Fury is being touted as a potential challenger. He may be undefeated but hardly a Joe Frazier :eek2:

I think Boxing will continue to vanish with time, Its difficult to enjoy spending your millions when you're brain damaged in a care home. Joshua's really a super heavyweight in terms of the 80's and 90's, difficult to see anyone giving him a good contest, fury might be able to if he can regain the use of his other arm.
If it where to vanish my guess is that it would be to the rise of mix martial arts

I think MMA had its heyday in the late '00s, personally, I'd love to see a resurgence of the WWF, sorry, WWE, lycra-clad showmen like Ric Flair and the Ultimate Warrior returning :D

And don't forget the Honky Tonk Man

why don't these mma lads put on some proper gloves and go down the boxing route ?

I'm a bit more vintage than you two, I'd love to see a resurgence of this lot:
