The Biggest Table Bet You Ever Made

I accidentally responded to a question like this about slots with a blackjack story. But now I'm curious. What's the largest bet that you've ever had on the table? Baccarat, craps, blackjack, poker, any of them.

My biggest game was $2,000 on the table during a Blackjack hand. I won, and the event was so traumatizing that I didn't gamble at all for something like two or three months.

I've had a few other big ones, $500 during poker etc., but never above $1,000. That one blackjack hand was insane.

$1000 Roulette, quite a few times, would of been more a few times if not for table limits, won some of those bets, and lost some

During a really good run in Vegas a few years back had a 3k Blackjack hand that wound up splitting 3 times for total of 4 hands, and doubling 3 of them.. Total bet 21k,, Lost every single one.. Wound up with 4 18's and a 19.. Dealer had a 6 showing, 9 under and pulled an ace and a 4… The run ended there, but still took home a nice chunk of change for the weekend..

Also had a few times while hot in roulette, putting up about 1500-2k a spin.. Biggest single number hit in roulette for me was with 300, and once actually hit a number 3 out of 4 spins just playing a single number for 100, then twice for 200.. That was a quick trip as i quit soon after.

My biggest bet was in January 2011 at Bluesquare Casino, $12,000 on a blackjack hand, luckily I won. $12,000 was the table limit.

Not long after I became one of the many banished from that casino because I live in Australia.

I'm such a wimp. Online, maybe $16.

But I was playing at Casino de Lac Leamy, back when it was Casino de Hull and before they hit on soft 17. Table had been having a terrible run, and won a $15 bet, and the dealer made a mistake and gave me a $25 chip instead of a $5 chip. I noticed the mistake and gave it back for the correct chip.

Well, someone said "Karma" and the luck for the whole table changed. I was a hero.

I upped my bet to $25, and I got double 8s versus dealer 10. Did the split, and got more 8s. And then 3s, Had to double down.

Some of the finer details escape me, it is years ago, but I had to not split my final pairs of 8s and stand on 16 because I had run out of money. Dealer hit 19 if I recall.

Paid me $275.

But I think i had $225 on the table.
