The more respins the better as the free spins phase starts from 10 to 50 free spins. This feature also works during the bonus phase so you can accumulate extra free spins with a maximum number of 1000 free spins.

Why the exaggerated delay, when there's a chance of free spins?

If slot designers are going to insist on being amateur psychologists, at least make the delay shorter, or over-ride-able by clicking on the screen or start button.
As it is, it doesn't build any tension, which I'm assuming, it's supposed to. It's just an annoyance.

Or even better... Forget about the silly 'tricks'. Drop the symbols straight in and make more of a fuss about the fact the free spins have been won

i can guarantee, if I had to endure that, more than 5 or 6 times, I'd simply close the game and play something else.

I'm not a game designer, but I in my opinion you have to treat it in a different way that a regular spin because it's special: it can give you a regular win plus an entrance to the free spins phase.

Having said that, I agree that you have to find a proper balance in two ways:

1- Not happening very often.

2- Not putting an exaggerated delay.

If you don't do it properly it can build anger and frustration on the player, but I guess the tolerance on this varies from one player to another.

Not necessary to say that I think we did a good job finding the balance

I gave it a whirl. Got the free spins feature a couple of times. Didnt manage to get the bonus though and the delay is a bit long on that one but overall I liked it. The graphics are nice and music and sound effects are attractive. Not sure about the payout though. But nice slot.
