that that is is

Hello

If a comma in a sentence would allow me to earn a good online casino jackpot... Or make me a better player...
perhaps the post was in the right place...

Not everyone has English as their native language.

Thank you

I fully understand and do my best not to hold a language barrier against anyone who has trouble with English but why would you want to fight against your sentences actually meaning what you intend them to?

One of my favorite ads from a few years back in a buy and sell magazine wrote - bed for sale great for cottage with mattress

I'm pretty sure this was a bed for sale with a mattress that would be great for a cottage but I pictured some guy sitting on a mattress in his cottage thinking "This is perfect!"

SAY WHA ?

Unlike today's pictorial advertising, back in the 1980's you'd be limited to just a brief line or two.
Few sellers had much idea about describing a piano...
Just starting in "the business", I was keen to find any bargains going and would carefully scan the piano columns in our Melbourne Trading Post.
No real interest in this instrument, but their ad certainly caught my eye:
"Lagonda Upright Piano Priv sale VG Cond., 88 keys. Some Black, Some White. $1800"
