a friend of mine won some money at Casino Rewards(not sure which Casino) They've sent him this E-mail encouraging him to reverse his withdrawal for an extra 25% bonus!? This kind of nonsense is unacceptable imagine someone who has a gambling problem being sent something like this they are clearly praying on players with a history of excessive play.

Anyone heard of a casino doing this? Wasn't sure where to post it so just posting it here.

    Wow..

Although for me this would make me want to reverse less just because it would wind me up..

Whats the bet they also tie your whole winnings into wagering too

Seen similar in the past, usually from Rival Powered casinos and without pointing the finger etc etc etc usually when I've come across although not all more commonly at 'rogue' or similar outfits.

Never thought I'd see the day from a CR group casino though! Isn't UKGC shit hot on Responsible Gaming, surely this is the opposite!!!

On another very loosely related note (encouraging more deposit activity etc)

There are one or two 'unusual' activities happening of late which have not set alarm bells ringing but are not the 'norm' either.

This is another to add to my collection :p

It also seems Roxy Palace (Splendido etc) are making more regular offers to their less frequent players (its usually 20-30% for minimum £50 deposit most weeks) but last couple of weeks, FS on Wednesdays and 100% Thursdays for a £20 depo.

I get them from CR regular as clockwork mate. I make a withdrawal request, I get a reversal bonus tempter by e-mail.

If 32Red did this, I wouldn't mind. Because they have never bonus banned me, whether I won, lost or drew.

But because CR bonus ban you for being in lifetime profit, I find these e-mails to be disgustingly hypocritical.

    Funny how they go from....

"Oh you're ahead overall, so see that deposit match bonus we advertised? You're not getting it now. Not until you have gone
back into the red overall with us".

    to....

Oh you want to cash out your winnings? That's very nice, how about a reversal bonus?

And I made my feelings about those e-mails very clear in a somewhat profanity-riddled e-mail.

This is one of the reasons why I point-blank refuse to reverse a withdrawal...at any casino.

Am so glad you posted that McGameboy

I was BB'ed by CR years ago and have been ever since (although my deposits there are few and far between since the ban, never understood why tho as it was £50 minimum for most of their bonuses and with my £20 I never got them anyway???)

If they are trying to kid me that I'm up 'lifetime' then they can go and ....

I got the 'Where have you been, Here's £30 NDB' email plus 125% on next deposit

Got the £30 but oh dear near on £40 worth of chips I still cannot redeem due to BB still imposed.

Emails daily this % that %, live chats, couple more deposits ban should lift but we can't say exactly when

    BOLLOCKS

Now I know (after I keep thinking, Maybe this deposit will reinstate bonus) It ain't gonna happen, I will stick with 32 Red and Guts for 100% of my budget

You have no idea just how many arguments I have had with Casino Rewards CS over the use of those words Jon. When I see CS typing out the
words "just keep on depositing and the ban will eventually be lifted", I just have to respond with the words "absolute lies and total bullshit".

There of course is their other scripted line....

The suspension of your VIP points redemption privileges is based on a number of factors that are determined by the system.

ERMMMMMMMMM. No it f**ing isn't. It is based on ONE factor. Allow me to channel my inner algebra teacher....

    Key:

W = Total Withdrawals across all CR casinos
D = Total Deposits across all CR casinos
    BB = Bonus Ban

    IF W > D, THEN BB = 1

    IF D > W, THEN BB = 0

I know this for a fact because I actually went through my entire depositing and withdrawal history with Casino Rewards.

The bonus bans would be in place as soon as I made a withdrawal request* that put me in lifetime profit across all CR casinos.

As soon as I fell behind, the ban was lifted.

    * Note my use of the word request. Yes....the ban is actually put in place as soon as the request is made. They don't even wait until
the withdrawal is processed before putting the ban hammer down.

And they have the cheek to send reversal bonus e-mails? It fucking stinks.

Dave makes an excellent point about the RG factor. They really should not be allowed to send e-mails of this nature.
They are predatory, pure and simple.

    Of course they do.

You win £800 and reverse the lot. You get a £200 bonus.

You now have £1,000. But you now have to wager £6,000 (£200 x 30) to be able to withdraw.

If you were to play games like GOT, GWG2, IR and Playboy and find them all in a foul mood, you could easily bust out
before you even get to the halfway point of your WR.

Yeah I've had very similar Live chats, guess I'm way too trusting (and a bit naive back in the day)

The missues had £600 cash voided a couple of years back at CR after THEIR chat had told her/us that she could do one of those stupid 'one hour free play' without rule breaking as I was not registered at that particular casino within their group after she'd previously won well on this type of bonus in the past.

After meeting £3,600 WR!! - piss take or what.

Your 'equation' made me chuckle and is spot on, I cba to even try and go thru my history as most of it has probably ended up in the twilight zone by now but this may have something to do with it thinking back.....

That is one of the most "disturbing" e-mails I have ever seen coming from a casino.:eek:

The OP is just plain unethical and if any Casino Retards sites are accredited here and do this I think they should at least lose a few points from their scores. This is a backward move and looks desperate IMO. It's just going all-out to remove negatives from their balance sheet by whatever means necessary. Luckily due to their abysmal spamming record I won't ever play a penny with them, but this has simply confirmed their ethos to me. :(

They aren't. Although some of them used to be....

    http://www.casinomeister.com/reservation.php

For the record, I do play at Casino Rewards, despite some of their "questionable ethics". For a couple of reasons...

    1. I have been a little luckier at CR than I have been at 32Red.
    2. I sometimes play there when I feel like some "non-bonus play".
    3. When I win and withdraw, I do get paid and within the acceptable timeframe (IMHO, they are no worse than 32Red in that regard). (This is MUCH more important to me than 1. and 2.)
    4. Renee is a decent rep, who has been helpful in removing the spamming problems I had.

To sum up, they have their good points. But they have some bad ones too. And they are bad enough to make me recommend other
casinos before I would recommend them. KasinoKing has them on his site, so they can't be THAT bad. Although he might be interested
to see this thread, particularly the e-mail in the OP.

This trick was famous with couple of old rogues, but one of MG casinos using this trick makes you wonder if standards are going down for mg only based casinos because of so many multi platform casinos

I just hope it was a one off mistake by a silly support staff and not their regular as i have had couple of wd's some time back and never received an email like this from them

With brilliant casino's popping up every day, these old casinos need to up their game not the other way around

Many MG casinos have done this, and some far worse.

I have had the CR offer email a couple of times, but Fortune Lounge were "at it" with me, and some of their offers were worse in that the more you reversed, the bigger the bonus percentage offered. Palace Group were another prolific offender. As well as letters I also received a few phone calls enticing me to reverse.

In almost all cases, the reversal offer was worse then the regular promotions for fresh deposits that came along regularly, so they were easy to refuse.

The worst case of all for me was some years ago by Prime casino, who not only phoned me to get me to reverse, but LIED to me about being "the owners", and that they were going behind the backs of regular support (then contracted to the Palace Group) as I was a "special player". I was also given their "special phone number" if I wanted to think about it, and I was to use that, not the normal CS number. I caught them out because I DID try phoning that number, and it was answered "Ruby Fortune, how can I help......." - busted:D

The above CR offer is of the same value as their midweek promotion, and one does not have to reverse everything, just enough to trigger the bonus. The downside is that there is a good chance that reversing even a portion will reset the 48 hour pending clock.

These casinos seem to pick and choose who gets the reversal offer, and they may be trying out players who don't usually reverse to see whether they will take the bait. Players who reverse more frequently probably get even more offers like this, the danger being that they may get SO many offers that they never manage to get to the stage of receiving any of their withdrawals.

    Great offer from CR!!! NOT

Got this today, what a teaser:

Dépêche : un bonus de 2000% pour Harald !

Read the small print...Deposit 1$ get 20 ....really CR????

I only deposit there nowadays when they send me some free chips, which is appr. every 4 weeks that includes then the great 125% or 150% offer up to 250 bonus chips. Those i take and not more.

Since they flush my withdrawals i don't get the reversal teaser emails :)

That looks like the new player sign up offer which they bombard you with for their Zodiac and Nostalgia Casinos.
I took advantage of both (back in the day) it was a genuine offer back then.

A mere £1 got me £21 SB - 600WR which is achievable with a 'good start' T&C's probs changed nowadays tho, not sure

Never interested in them but I remember I got the deposit £1 get £20 free years ago from Quattro casino I think it was called. Was bored and had no wish to deposit at any more of their casinos but went what the hell they can have the £1 lol.

Anyway played a while and ended up cashing out a few hundred. Was not really expecting to get paid for various reasons and had only wasted a £1 so wasn't bothered. But few days later they had paid so surprised me.

More or less word for word what You've posted is same as the way I went about things too Paul. Took advantage of the quid depo offers, lost on the one but W/D £200 from the other and almost fell over when there was no BS email and it appeared in the bank.

I abandoned the CR ship 2-3 years ago after a decent W/D and hence attached 'BB' but will admit the odd 10'er has found it's way back to them since I got that free £30NDB earlier this year.

I've planned a trip to their live help later (kind of inspired by McGameboy) to find out exactly my lifetime profit/loss, gonna push for info on the 'BB' but already know I'll probably be 'wasting my breath'

Nope, been a member since time begun with Captain Cooks Casino.... i get them like once every 2 months or so.

Also every 4-5 weeks they usually drop anything between 50 - 100 free chips into my account and offer me a 125% or 150% match bonus on my next deposit. I must be a very high loser that they still do that, i deposited last year barely 450$ and this year 150$, always claiming their "returning player bonus"
