Is targeting people that play with no bonuses actually better for the casino sites?

Nope - people who do not play bonuses don't get locked into ridiculous play through requirements, and they cash out more often. Casinos do not want that.

I think offering the bonus is much better for any casino with the right to decline (easily) any bonus you don't want. I enjoy the bonuses and i read beforehand any play-through requirements. So to answer your question targeting the people that play with no bonus is not actually better for the casino.

I'm more inclined to believe casinos prefer the 'straight cash' type of players because they make money faster and usually around twice as much!

Don't know what the average bonus terms are these days, likely around 75 times your deposit playthrough, but the time taken to grind through that amount and come out in profit has to be 'negligible'. And once the initial Sign-up Bonus has been exhausted in all its glory, subsequent bonuses will appear not worth pursuing.

So whilst I'm likely to have a long amount of playtime using a bonus, that's artificially inflated by the Ts & Cs, something that would require me circa two or three 'cash' deposits to attain.

Therefore I suspect the casino would prefer the punter spend £60 of actual funds as opposed to £20 with £40 Monopoly Money. I'd also wager that they'd rather pursue players that use straight-up cash, just a hunch of course 💲💰

I refuse to play any kind of bonus now unless totally free, no strings attached and no wagering (Sky Casino spin the wheel for example).

Utterly and completely disgusted at some of the tactics of some casinos. Worst one was Bet UK a few years back. I was happily playing away, then they dropped a 'free' £5 or £10 bonus in my balance which I did not notice nor any option to accept or decline it. Guess what, I won a bit and tried to withdraw, only to see my entire balance forfeited due to breaching their terms!

Another one, (Cosmik Casino from memory) confiscated my entire balance due to breaching maximum bet rule when taking a bonus, even though I provided proof that I had not breached this limit. It was a stupid rule where you could not wager more than 10% or so of your deposit amount on one wager. The basis of their claim was supposedly I had breached this limit by about 0.25%!!

Unfortunately these instances were pre signing up with Casinomeister.

I mostly play with a bonus offer unless On videoslots as they dont offer it, as its not tied in with the bonus balance I think theres no harm to take a bonus which gives you extra to play with in terms of 100% match where Deposit £10 get extra £10 in bonus funds but its £10 cash balance and £10 in bonus funds and its not tied in so you use cash first and withdraw any winning and if you do lose your deposit you got £10 bonus to play with, I would never take a bonus where it ties them together where you have to wager x amount before being able to make a withdrawal.

I imagine so with the crazy wagering requirement that generally comes with them these days. I mean eg. £50 cash + £50 bonus, 35x playthrough - Short of a miracle you're going to bust out and lose £50.

As an ex bonus player (wouldn't deposit without an offer, ever) quitting bonus hunting and playing straight cash deposits only was the best move I ever made.

Bust outs come quicker due to no "back up" funds but as has been said, no restrictions on those super rare days I do win, makes life so much easier now I know I won't lose most of it back trying to conquer wagering requirements.

Once in a blue moon I get/take a 100% offer at Unibet, however their wagering is super fair in today's climate at just 25xB

These points made I feel would both suit the casinos so swings and roundabouts.

Would you take a bonus like on L AND L casinos where if you say deposit £10 you get 50 free spins at 0.10p each, as it uses cash first and you can cash out any time you want but if you busted you would still have some extra free play time with the bonus spins winnings.
where 1 in a 100 times you might clear the wagering

Not really mate. I get these offers across 3 sites every Tue and Fri but as my playing budget is VERY limited, I choose to at least try and keep my XP up by stick to only VS. Their ongoing promos seem better and always wager free, albeit all 10p spins these days.

I had a 50% off Unibet a while ago but it was the first in years. They are one of the best around at the moment..

I as well have not played bonuses for years, I do not know the exact percentage but my cash out ratio has increased dramatically since choosing to play without.

I do not get nearly the offers I used to.

bonuses are there to end up with more players that can't cash out. i've had bonuses before where i wanted to cash out but couldn't and run out before i can cash out anything. Having said that it's happened a few times this year where I wanted to cash out but couldn't and by the time I cashed out I was able to cash out a bigger amount....i don't think it evens out though.

Honestly bonuses just end up making the games not fun to play a lot of the time your trying to grind against time/balance.

If i want to bet higher amounts I do bonuses and if i hit it big i lower my bet amounts and hope i have a balance in the end.
